hey what would u suggest? a 1JZ-GTE or 7MGTE? i know 1JZ-GTE is the better engine but its alot more work.

Deffinitely 1J over 7M, unsure if you know, but M-series toyota motors, (especially 7M/7M-gte) have serious problems with blowing headgaskets. It can be remeedied(?) with aftermarket head studs, a good steel gasket and different torque settings applied to the headstuds than toyotas, but the cost isn't worth it as the 1JZ is better in everyway, (forget the additional 500cc of the 7m).

Initial cost of 1JZ-gte might be higher, (they'r cheap here(NZ)) and are so strong and worth it.

the Cressida and the Supra have the same engine the only difference is the Supra has a turbo and you could have bought a Supra turbo kit

It got stolen by some assfag. Then I guess the owner found some other Cressida on the side of the freeway with parts from his Original Cressida, abandoned. CHP came, and there was nothing he could do about it. you know as far as proving that the parts were originally his (tt supra motor etc.. Too bad there are so many fuckers trying to bring all of us down. Props to people doing the right things.
