Okay mate I thought I'd post this for ya. it's a link that talks you through how to play this on a proper ds, I am starting it atm, it fixes the xp problem with a patch also.

actually, forget what i said in the last comment. i just downloaded desmume 096 and the rom to test it out. it seemed to be running fine, maybe you just had alot of programs open or something like that?

id suggest it was your computer, but if it was then youd probably be experiencing lag with all of your programs
