Pinback, BHP and SO are side projects, splinters of 3MP, mind I like them all. To me 3MP will always be tri-fold Zach, Pall and Tom - the most amazing, brilliant, underrated band in SD.
You took my quote out of context. I KNOW everything about Zack, BHP, Pinback, Goblin Cock, Thingy, etc, almost every single project they're involved with. Someone had asked what Zack was currently doing and i said he was doing shit with 3mp because they went on a long hiatus, and they recently got back together.
Great to hear new 3MP but it sounds disturbingly like SO. I have nothing against SO, but 3MP is a different band. Or was. Maybe I'm a bit too pessimistic and it's not fair to judge based on just 2 songs, but it seems like there's no balance. I hope I'm wrong.
