I love this video and have watched it several times. Lot was just an amazing dog. Pyrs are to me anyway, some higher form. My guardians have such a quiet energy about them that they dont alarm the geese ever. Wonderful souls... this breed is amazing.
what a wonderful environment for this breed...the original 'laid back, happy to be alive' devoted puppy who guards their family, the grass, the trees, the sun, the moon and everything inbetween for the sole reason to make their master happy becuase of their unconditional love. their bark is their laughter & is a joy to hear
just signed up had to comment on what a beautiful video. We have 2 great pyr's they are our heart and soul the best dogs we have ever had all my dogs have been special but the Great Pyrenees.. well there is just something about them.
I am sorry for your loss. We have two Pyrs who are now 9. Our boy craddles the wall when sleeping too. They are wonderful, loving animals with the faces of angels.

I had a pyr over twenty years ago. I miss him still even though he was not the friendliest of hounds . He never wanted petting and he was a strange animal indeed. I though when I got him how cute and cuddly. Maybe it was just him ! He would sleep either by the door to get the cool air and I found him asleep once on a freezing cold morning asleep on a pile of snow . I swear her grew an inch bigger overnight . His muzzle grew longer like a wolf in the night. I miss him still
It's hard typing through tears....I'm so very sorry for your loss...I had my sammy 15 years( he was a border collie)... it is difficult to explain how they become such a large part of your life...and when we lose them it hurts so much...what a wonderful blessing you had in Lot ...may you always find peace and healing ...thank you for sharing your love!!! fantastic song...5++++ stars
What a beautiful, precious dog ! I'm sorry for your loss. I know it is one of the hardest experiences a dog owner can ever go through. I feel that it is very unfortunate and unfair that dogs live such short lives. Nothing can ever compare to the attachment and love that a dog can give.
Oh this was beautiful! Tears pouring out at just a few seconds in. Your Pyr looks just like our Belle who was beat by cancer a year ago February. We now have Sebastian, 14 month old male.
Several of your pictures are the same things Belle did, and even the one in the flowers and yours is smiling. We have a pic of Belle lying in nice green grass with flowers around, with a huge smile on her face.
Oh my... thanks for the tears! Some photos are IDENTICAL to some of mine... like the one where Lot is sleeping against the wall. Keno died at 13 or 15, (he was a rescue so I'm not sure). Boy, we were both lucky for their long lives!
I have a female pyren. She was my first ever dog, and all the pictures look exactly like my dog misty. How old is ur dog? i have this video as my favorites, it totally chills me out after a day off work in the navy and makes me realise what happy and bouncy lil characters they are. love them

Thanks. We live in the Netherlands. And every year we went on vacation to the Swiss Alps. She loved the mountains very much.
