  • 32 people have parkinson

  • SERIOUSLY HOW CAN A RED BLOODED AMERICAN DISLIKE SKYNARD

  • @petiteteteburton you answered youre own question

  • @petiteteteburton red blooded American who can take 'em or leave 'em. I could say how could any red blooded American dislike Miles Davis or Charles Mingus. How about Leadbelly or Lightnin' Hopkins (to whom this band owes much). People have different tastes and that's why there's so much good music. It also accounts for why there's so much lousy music but see? taste is subjective, not objective. This band never did a lot for me and I've played in a few cover bands that played their songs.

  • @petiteteteburton im english and this iss fiiit to me.

  • im sick of peopele saying theyre racist...

  • Respond to this video... wonderful video

  • only thing i hate about looking at these videos is saying he's dead. he's dead. the members may die but the music will live on forever

  • Greatest band to ever walk this earth. If you don't like this your taste in music sucks. These boys flat out could rock and roll. It was like a train fixing to run you over. It just never let up until the plane went down. Its our loss, but they left us with some tunes that will last forever. R.I.P to all that have left us. The days seem alittle longer now without ya'll. Sure do miss them.

  • this takes me back, yeahhh, to the back of the van! ew lawdy.

  • 31 people didnt get three steps

  • In 1971 Skynyrd played the Orange Park high school homecoming dance. They didn't make it big till 73. In my school yearbook they spelled their name Lynard Skynard ticked me off then and still does now.

  • 31 peoples ole ladies got kissed by lynard skynard

  • Great live version, thanks for posting, but I'm sure you've already been told it's spelt Lynyrd Skynyrd (Pronounced 'leh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd)...

  • Learn to spell Lynyrd Skynyrd.

  • Learn to spell Lynryd Skynyrd.

  • If you have an old school video of LYNYRD SKYNYRD you should be able to spell the name right...embarrassing

  • @mojojager make that 4 angel -- allen, gary, steve, and mendelsn

  • This song ....I think of my Friend Melinda....I LOve u fred Sampes

  • Many respects to the families of these men & the families of The Honkettes that are no longer here with us. We must not forget to give the families deep respect and mad love.

  • @cabearth Thank you for uploading this fabulous piece of musical-genius history. I'm so glad that so much of Skynyrd's short history is preserved w/clips on the web-I wish they all were still here.I often wonder what kind of masterpieces we the fans are missing now because of the band's tragic fate? I ask myself that very question about John Lennon. What are we the fans missing because these geniuses have been taken from us way too soon.I wish I could hear Ronnie say "Turn it up" once again...

  • saw the original cast, minus rickey medlocke of course, one of their last shows in hartford conn. absolutely incredible

  • almost sounds the same as "what's your name, little girl."

  • I've always thought Leon was really underrated as a bassist. He's just as important to the sound as Gary, Allen, or Steve was. Leon reminds me a lot of Phil Lesh. Phil Lesh was the 3rd lead in the Grateful Dead. It wasn't just following root notes, Phil actually played the bass and innovated and made it a lead instrument all its own. Leon did the same I think. He wasn't just a boring old bassist, he was just as much a lead player as the others. RIP Leon.

  • Allen had such great stage presence.

  • 30 people only got 2 steps out..... the poor bastards should of had 3.

  • The stuff I hear now is predictable, vacuous.

  • Bell Bottoms, 8 track tapes, three speed trucks with the gear shifts on the steering column. LP's and turn tables, I was young. I turned 10 years old in nineteen-eighty-one, so I guess as far as generations go, I am a Generation X Guy. The Eighties were my teenage/pre-adult years. I turned 20 years old in nineteen-ninety-one. from 1981 to 1991 was my teenage years. I claim some of the Nineties too, But now I could not name you a musical artist other than what I have heard talked about on here.

  • Thank you sir for uploading this footage.

    Randall, FLA

  • i always look through youtube for samples for my beats, but every now and then i find a track that is not only a good sample, but a beautiful song, by a beautiful artist. check out my simple man sampled beat and tell me what you guys think /watch?v=Y59cNgNk5qc

  • This is who I would like to see perform at halftime of the Superbowl!!!

  • @ct7356 sadly we never will..

  • PLAY SOME SKYNARD MAN!

  • 29 people must have not gotten three steps...

  • Awesome video man!!!! Thanks!!!

  • I am going with you and never coming back hotstuff

  • Hay fat fellow with the hair colored yellow what you tryin to prove. I said excuse me, I won't fight you over this cunt. LOL

  • This was one of the first songs I learned on my guitar many years ago. Great story telling (few that exist with humor) songs. I would run too once I saw that 44 staring at me. :)

  • I'm there in a heartbeat!!

  • Lynard skynard ROCKS Best band ever!!!!!! add me

  • Excellent i always stay bad when i hear them...

    They never come back ...

    I'm so sad

  • oh, honey, yeah....1970's was living! no comparison!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that 2:04 is the only point in this entire concert that they showed Mr. Powell.

  • 1:27 looks like hes feeelin good

  • @GI700 trust me, he never felt anything

  • @GI700 JAJAJA!!

  • this song is overrated, people just think its cool because its old, im so glad that with the advances in our society our music has advanced as well and much better talent has come forth. A few examples of this are amazing artists like cee lol and believe it or not justin bieber who already at his age is a musical genius, i suspect him to surpass skynryd very soon if he hasnt already.

  • @TOXINO14 you think justin bieber is better then lynyrd skynyrd? hahahahaha what the hell are you smokin.

  • @TOXINO14 You're a tard and a douche! Justin Bieber really!? I'm stuck in the generation between Skynard and JB. Parents were Skynard era and I have kids old enough to be into JB. Skynard kicks JB's ass in so many different ways on so many different levels it's not even a competition. And the argument that it's cool because it's old is crap. Your mom's tits are old, but that doesn't make them cool!

  • @TOXINO14 i know its sarcasm but that ain't no laughin matter haha still had to give you the thumbs down on that 1

  • @TOXINO14 It's a lot easier to be a musical genius when you've got an army of computer geeks who can make you sound like a little girl with the snap of their fingers. And do you really think that he writes that crap? JB can kiss my ass, his music will never be as good as rock 'n' roll

  • @TOXINO14 if you ever go to a Georgia bar three steps might not get you out of the place. Don't worry about the guy with the gun, the women will beat you to death. I know I was raised here. These Georgia peaches got a hard shell on the inside.

  • I love them!!! It is so sad how all of it ended (with all of them). They are still remembered, and I know I love them.

  • GOOD OLD SOUTHERN ROCK....HELL YES...

  • It's funny how the Gibson Explorer is as much a southern rock guitar as a Les Paul or a Strat.

  • Just an outlaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hotstuffandicecream What, and miss all the wonderfully relevant music today?

Yeah, can't even say that with a straight face. Set a course for 1975, and get that baby to 88 MPH.

  • @hotstuffandicecream i couldn't agree with you more, those were the greatest days and better real music than could ever be made by so called bands in this day and age.the good thing is that we can still see lynyrd skynyrd in concert all these years later.they always knew how to suck it in and keep on rockin nomatter the what the tragety, plane crashes, random deaths of members and they can still kick ass on stage.a real band from back in the day,god bless-em.

  • @hotstuffandicecream I'm in....muh brotha! I'll take shotgun in your Camaro, and buy the first tank of .61cent gas! Those halter tops....whew. You know....we really were blessed, if you stop and think about it. Just the music alone...great stuff just flew at us from every which way. None of that corporate cookie-cookie cutter sound-alike shit like those poor kids are stuck with today. We complain...but we had a lot going for us....don't-cha think?? I truly feel blessed to be 56 and alive.
