Yeah the egos that people have these days are crazy. I mean there is nothing wrong with knowing you may be better off than another, but they like to let you know that shit too, or rub it in.

i feel ya , it is hard to find some true friends , all of my true friend are people I knew from high school. and I'm 36 years old now . I have befriend a few people and been let down , so now I will kick it with some one for a while but I never let that person totally in cause . . . . moo foo will just let you down :(

Most folks tend to think a genuine or kind person has something to hide, or it is a front and it would be unwise to get involved with them for fear of being stabbed in the back. Also, for some folks, it is hard to hang out with someone who keeps it real, as it is a constant comparison to themselves and most people dislike that.
It could be that you two are simplistic, and the people you encounter are fast moving and always on the go. I know I'd fit right in, but I'm male and lack a woman.

you really seem intelligent. I know you're a smart person and you seem to be fun to be around. Some people, however, (like me) cannot really hang too tuff with people that curse a lot. It's kind of a turn off. But if they curse as much, then it's something else. And you are better... You have to believe that - it's about self esteem.

I feel the same way... i think that sometimes i am taken for granteed by people who claim they are my friends. I mean like even when the bad things happen, a friend mite be there in that moment but the next day, the same friend becomes your enemy.
