@Easyandy100 No they dont, For example pacquiao vs margarito was one of the most brutal one sided fights in recent times and even in that fight pacuqio only landed about 400 punches to the head

UFC is safer simply because boxers and boxing has evolved over 100 years in art of punching with your fists and they have become more lethal over the years give mma 25 more years and you will see more frequent injuries and deaths
@MrStocktonian Not true. There have been deaths in MMA not in the UFC. The UFC has top notch doctors and health checks. I would bet no one will ever die in the UFC.
@sublimezlw1016 i believe the death you are referring to was the one where the fighter had a brain tumor or some shit like that prior to the fight and they still allowed him to fight. there has been more serious injuries and deaths in high school cheer leading competitions. football is as well a lot more dangerous of a sport.
Rules and safety have come on a lot whilst the sport of MMA has evolved yet I do believe that elbows to a grounded opponent should be banned in every promotion as they are bloody and downright lethal. of course mma is safer. Whats so dangerous about two guys dry humping each other? All the brave motherfuckers are in boxing cuz it requires alot of heart and will.
@filobreaker You should go down to your local brazilian jiu-jutsu gym and tell them that. Then go roll with a black belt for 2 hours. Report back and we'll see how your perspective has changed. :-)
@SixT4 I've wrestled in high school for 2 years so i know what to expect in a jiu jutsu gym. Ive also done boxing and let me tell you it aint nothing like wrestling. Wrestling is tough and u get a few injuries but boxing is WAYYY MORE DANGEROUS. You make a mistake and you pay for it with pain...lots of bruises and broken noses even with headgear. So you should go to your local boxing gym and lace em up to see if you can last a round with an amateur.
@filobreaker OK great, if you think MMA is so easy, like I said - go down to your local BJJ gym. In fact, tell them you're a wrestler so you should be able to own them. Roll for two hours non-stop with a purple belt, and then cry when they choke you out 50 times.
@SixT4 LoL, I'm waiting for a phillipino or fma person to respond to what you just posted: "Oh great, will do. One more thing, can I bring my knife?" XP ^-^ ^_-
@SixT4 hahaha i'll do that! I'd rather be choked out than knocked out thats for sure! Theres a reason why theres wrestling programs in every high school. BECAUSE ITS NOT FIGHTING!!!! You can use it in a fight to restrain someone but nothing is more effective than knocking someone out cold via left hook.
@filobreaker You said it was easy, gay, dry-humping etc. I'm still waiting for you to ACTUALLY go down to a BJJ gym and get choked, leg locked, arm barred for two hours. You say you have no problem doing it - so go do it if it's so easy. I can point you in the direction of a forum where I'm sure you could find someone to take you up on your offer.
@AnGobh The preparation (sparring) boxers go through to get ready for a fight is more dangerous than the fight itself. I've trained professional boxers for a fight (6 weeks, 6 times a week training) and a MMA fighter who was getting ready to fight for a Texas title. They don't compare.
@AnGobh This comment doesn't make sense. Boxing has been around much longer than MMA. Also, boxers start competiting at the age of 8.....MMA fighters usually start pretty late.
Lesson learned: Quit listening to Politicians. Most of them are complete idiots and speak out of their asses to get votes from more ignorant idiots...
@hustleboy62 your just going by what dana white say if you listen he says there has been no deaths in the ufc which is true google deaths in mma you will find some . ufc is pretty good at regulating fights though gotta give credit for that
mma is safer if you are looking at just punches too the head but count everything how many times can you get choked out in a lifetime and still have no brain damage the only reason mma is safer is because they mostly roll around on the ground for 15 minutes
@MrStocktonian The percentage of brain damage resulting from MMA is FAAAARR less than that of boxing (for obvious reasons). It is still possible so I agree with you. It's not all choking. The "rolling" is done to get the opponent into a position that allows the other opponent to get a submission (but i wouldn't doubt you knew that already ;)
@MrStocktonian put it this way.. MMA has NEVER had a death. Even today, boxing continues to have over 20 deaths every single year, despite the fact that they must wear headgear in amateur fights. In the old days when they did not wear head gear, the death rate was even higher.
mma is safer if you are looking at just punches too the head but count everything how many times can you get choked out in a lifetime and still have no brain damage the only reason mma is safer is because they mostly roll around on the ground for 15 minutes
mma is safer... not because the SPORT is safer... I mean dumping people on their heads is pretty dangerous... Its safer because the level of competition. Most top end boxers are finely tuned machines. Most top end MMA guyz have 6 fights and are basically mediocre at one type of fighting and just terrible at the rest
It's hard to say. Boxers take WAY more punches to the head than MMA fighters. When an MMA fighter takes too many shots to the head usually it's stopped
In my experience getting puched bared knuckled hurts more but with a glove it seems that you can feel it all around your head. So if you get punched in the jaw you'll feel it all around your face ,and have you seen how some boxers punch? a lot of them do it by the book because they understand physics and mechanics that's why it's called the sweet science.
A fight is not a fight unless there are no rules. I mean no rules! This way your skill does not matter but your heart and knowledge. MMA and Boxing are great sports, But Boxing is more realistic on the streets. Try grappling on streets where people have no mercy, like across Europe or Asia, then we will see what happens to you my buddy.
@teslic100 WTF are you talking about. Every street fight I have ever seen evolves into a ground game. Ground and pound and judo would win you a shit load of street fights. Def not boxing.
of course mma is safer. Look at James Toney speak and look at Randy Couture speak. Randy is older but speaks like a normal dude. You cant understand Toney without subtitles. Nuff said.
@ironbull2003 Ur right lol. He has always talked like a tard but it def has got a little worse. Anecdotal evidence I know but still compare Liddell, the Natural, and some of the older guys. I dont see the kind of punch drunkness you see in boxers with similar ages and careers.
@sublimezlw1016 You can also see how Sugar Ray Leonard and Oscar De la Hoya speak.........one is a 10 time world champion and the other is a 6 time WC.
@1england09 what boxing you watch 20 % wtf its low 30s minimum good ones 40% plus and everything counts as a punch even jabs to keep your opponent away so it is possible
@jagdjohn96 you have to be retarded are you go check yourself out tell doctor to give you a chromosone count parcinsons disease mother fucker its a disease that develops its not from getting hit in the head. getting hit in the head causes brain damage not parcinsons
@bosanaczauvjek U cannot determine that I am retarded by one typing mistake. You see how football players end up. Do they all have parcinsons disease? NO! What I'm trying to say is that the avg. MMA fighter takes at most 30 punches a fight. That means less Brain damage, thus less problems later on in life. 500 punches a fight throughout around 100 fights. thats taking around 50,000 punches overall! Im talking bout the avg boxer now, not Ali. MMA is safer.
mma is safer give me a reason wait when a boxer punches a guy then the guy goes down they wait till he stand up while in mma you continue throw punches till he really gets knocked out.
Every sport is great when the right athletes compete.
Give me Muhammad Ali (I'll need a time machine as well), Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard, Michael Jordan, James Brown, Anderson Silva, GSP, and Brock Lesnar and I will make ANY sport compelling.
@dromezz Anyone CAN do MMA because it takes someone who is basically a novice in like 3 fighting styles. Usually, the best people in MMA master one martial art and the learn basic ass jiu jitsu moves and shit like knee bars and arm bars. Who the fuck CAN'T do that?
@IHaveNoNameRawr -"Anyone" can't do MMA, boxing, soccer, whatever just cuz they feel like it. There are olympic caliber athletes in high paying sports and the average keyboard warrior would be embarrassed.
"Who the fuck CAN'T do that?"
Have you done it? Try a pro career and tell the world how that goes.
Well I just think it's stupid to have boxing when we have MMA. As far as grappling sports I think them are ok. But boxing and kickboxing is pointless to have when you have MMA. Striking sports should just be kicked out of sports and we should just have MMA instead. But grappling sports such as wrestling should stay. Who agrees with me?
MMA is ALOT safer than Boxing because of the headblows boxers take mma guys dont take that much blows to the head and yes they can get kicked in the leg choked kicked and all around damage but it just makes bruises and not permanent damage like boxing does to you.
Heres another fact: over 1100 deaths in boxing for the past 110 - 120 years. 1 death in mma the past 70 years.
@iluvjilly2112 Umm yeah there was death in mma, Doug Dedge died during a match here's the link:wwwdotdailymotiondotcom/video/x1bz6q_rip-only-death-in-mma
@freeflymedina he had a pre existing condition an was not cleared to fight in japan so he fought in the ukraine and in ufc and under the state athletic commission a fighter can not fight with out a standard physical, MRI scan and many other procedures. plain out he would have not fought in the us or japan so mma is perfectly safe, and safer than boxing
@bmatic11 But it was still a mma event! What I'm trying to say is that no combat sport is "perfectly safe", this goes for both boxing and or mma. For you to say that there was "no death in an mma event" and that a combat sport is "perfectly safe" is such bunkum.
@freeflymedina You are dumb dude. No sport period is 100% safe. More people die in football than in MMA. MMA is not dangerous at all compared to boxing. 20% of boxers suffer brain problems in their lives. Boxing is a dumb sport and MMA will destroy it!
@7tylerjb If I'm a dumb dude, then you're a door knob calling yourself an Einstein, Of course there are more people who died from other sports because MMA still has a very premature history! You dumb Batholin's gland! Boxing has been here since the 1800's. MMA started back in 1990, do the math Quantum physicist dip-shit. I never said nor argued that boxing is safer than MMA, All I was saying that people have died competing in MMA, (Doug Dedge for example). Kickboxing said they were gonna too.LOL
@freeflymedina The total deaths in the ring for boxing from 1998-2006 is 70 total. The total deaths in the ring from 1998-2006 was only 1 and occured in Russia to a guy who had previous injuiries and was blacking out before the fight. How is that for your little time period argument. Don't hand me that premature history bullshit. Boxing is continous blows to the head while MMA goes quick and has few punches to the head. This is why MMA is way safer.
@7tylerjb Okay first of all, I never was arguing that boxing is safer than MMA or how many deaths in either side. I was mere justifying that there had been people killed(responding to the other dude who said there has been no death in MMA), Sam Vasquez and Doug Dedge. Then there's you jumping the gun, arguing with me and being offensive. I was not even arguing and I was merely justifying. I bet you're like a guy who just talk and does not watch or think about what he says.
@freeflymedina First of all Douglas Dedge's fight was an unsanctioned fight in Ukraine so that doesn't count. Plus he had a pre-existing medical condition and wasn't medically cleared to fight in the U.S. or Japan. As for Sam Vasquez, he was known to drink alcohol frequently, had a faulty pre-medical exam if any one at all, and he was also 35 years old which is pretty old to be fighting in MMA. Not to mention he took a hard punch and was dropped and the referree allowed him to still get back up.
@7tylerjb Obviously, with your response you have an I.Q. of a single-celled organism, wow dude. It doesn't matter if it was an unsanctioned bout or not it was still a MMA event! What your saying is like if a boxer died back in the 1800's from an unsanctioned bout and it was well documented and it does count? LOL!!! For your second defense of excuses for the Vasquez death is just pure immature logic,LOL!
@freeflymedina "He was known to drink alcohol excessively" and "35 years old"? Randy Couture and Shane Carwin are just a few guys over 35 years or over, but that's beside the point. Are the two deaths happened in an MMA event? YES. Are you a dumb-ass? Hell a Big resounding YES!!!!!!!!!! Bwaahaha
@freeflymedina Ok whether you agree with my argument or not it has been clearly established that MMA is way safer than boxing. I mean in a 10 year period there were 70 boxing deaths and only 1 MMA death. The main reason is of course because boxers take tons of blows to the head. If you like boxing then fine, but it isn't going to be a sport much longer. MMA will take over as the predominant combat sport.
@7tylerjb Dude, you're the one one arguing with yourself! lol. I just wanted to justify that there had been deaths in an MMA event, because there are some people here who said that there had been no fatalities, but fan boys like you would just blindly defend the sport even though there's nothing to argue about, lol. Boxing is here to stay and MMA to grow as a sport, stop comparing the two, similar combat sports but different. Stop being offensive next time just cause your behind the computer.
@freeflymedina You are still failing to realize boxing is slowly but surely becoming extinct lol. MMA is as close as it gets to actual fighting or street fighting. Boxing is only one aspect of fighting. Boxing is going to lose alot fans when pacquiao retires. He is the only non-black good boxer left. Otherwise the whole sport is just black people and boring to watch.
@7tylerjb How can a sport die? Now a sport can be more popular than than another but a sport can't die. Plus they use boxing in MMA. Why is only boxing dieing, in mma they use wrestling too an that not dead. You make no sense plus there hell of a lot boxing fans still around. No sport has died and and will never die. Sports have been around for too many years to just die
@hotjavon Well I just think it's stupid to have boxing when we have MMA. As far as grappling sports I think them are ok. But boxing and kickboxing is pointless to have when you have MMA. Striking sports should just be kicked out of sports and we should just have MMA instead. But grappling sports such as wrestling should stay. Who agrees with me?
@7tylerjb I really don't see way, if people want to keep watching boxing let the. What does it matter. You watch MMA and the other people watch boxing problem solved. Why do people compare sports. Sports are filled with talent people and go as far as calling them art. All the sports have fighter and players who can un human stuff. You kobe byrant, derek jeter, co crop, and floyd may weather. See all sports have great talent
@7tylerjb I agree. We should get rid of people punching each other with the most powerful punches (trust me a boxer punches much harder than an MMA person), and we should keep men in skimpy clothing rolling around on the floor trying to hold each other and get the other person to give up.
You're pretty open with your sexuality, and I commend that.
@IHaveNoNameRawr if you don't know whats happening in MMA then don't watch it, and this is youtube why the fuck should I care to take time and make my sentences punctuated if you spend time on things like that you must have a lot of free time which means your a loser by the way
@mofobichfuk Just so you know, it doesn't take FREE TIME to fucking capitalize a word or add punctuation to the end of my sentence. It takes about .3 seconds. And I don't watch MMA. I prefer not to watch borderline pornographic material if it involves only men.
@IHaveNoNameRawr you obviously don't know how to fight maybe you should stop using your free time on punctuating your youtube comments and go learn how LOSER
@mofobichfuk MMA is hardly a deadly fighting style. It doesn't even necessarily require physical fitness. It's all about the heaviest person tackling someone, or the lightest person kicking someone.
@IHaveNoNameRawr good job your the dumbest person on youtube once again you have proved to be incredibly stupid have you ever heard of weight classes your probably wondering what they are there those things that make sure fighters are the same weight now I know that you admire the simplicity of boxing and how its exactly like rock-em sock-em robots so leave MMA to the smart people who might not have as much free time as you LOSER =)
@mofobichfuk This explains why I've seen big ass fat people weighing in at least 200+ pounds fighting smaller people at weights of what look like 160-170, even though Heavyweight is 200+ and 170 is a Light Heavyweight. Besides, most of those faggy ass MMA people can't fight anyway.
@IHaveNoNameRawr its funny because if a boxer attempted MMA he wouldn't last a second Mr. to much free time who can't fight maybe you should look up what time is because I don't feel like dealing with people as dumb as you today so after you look up the definition of time then you might understand that over time things change and you won't see 200+ fighters against welterweights any more and by the way MMA is a mix of fighting styles dumbass even the most dense of people know that you LOSER =)
@mofobichfuk MMA isn't a mix of fighting styles. It's shitty Jiu Jitsu mixed with very little boxing talent. If a boxer learned even basic Jiu Jitsu, he'd whoop the fucking shit out of any of your MMA faggots. Luckily, Boxers aren't homosexual enough to enjoy wrapping their legs around men, so we'll never have to worry about them learning Jiu Jitsu and being stuck in that MMA bullshit.
@IHaveNoNameRawr ahh and you once again prove why your the dumbest person on youtube I'm will not waste time trying to help you become smart so I bid you a due and maybe someday you will decide to use you free time and become smart like many of the people in the world and finally discover that MMA is the future and boxing is nothing but a stepping stone and when you discover that boxers are the true pussies then you may be thought of as a smart person, so long LOSER =)
@mofobichfuk Your ad hominem attacks are pathetic, and your lack of knowledge when it comes to martial arts is even more pathetic. Go watch some gay porn (MMA) and stop replying to me because you have no grasp of martial arts or any of the bullshit you're trying to debate.
@IHaveNoNameRawr neither do you I bet you no nothing about martial arts if you consider boxing a martial art your even dumber than I thought so long you time wasting retarded LOSER =)
@IHaveNoNameRawr Interesting how you didn't have shit to say after Toney (a future boxing HOFer) got taken out by Couture...Randy knows he'd get killed by Toney in the ring. What Toney did was embarrassing for himself, but I guess he was ok with getting paid...too bad the IRS came and swooped on his money.
@freeflymedina that dude died a few days after the fight and that fight was unsanctioned another thing is he went into that fight because no doctors would even allow him to fight and told him it be too dangerous so he couldnt even fight inlike the ufc or japan
@iluvjilly2112 Blah blah blah, the point is, Dedge still participated in an MMA event which was televised for many people to witness, unsanctioned or not. His participation in the event was a factor to his death.
@iluvjilly2112Another one," there had never been a death or crippling injury in a sanctioned event in North America] until the death of Sam Vasquez on November 30, 2007] Vasquez collapsed shortly after being knocked out by Vince Libardi in the third round of an October 20, 2007 fight at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Vasquez had two separate surgeries to remove blood clots from his brain, and shortly after the second operation suffered a major stroke and never regained consciousness."
this is RIDICULOUS. how is mma safer than boxing? boxers take more punches but they are being hit with larger gloves. In mma people get knocked out by knees and kicks AND GET CHOKED OUT...that's a lot more dangerous. YOu stupid mma fans are blind. You agree with everything as long as it sounds good for mma.
@alexpalalove It's the long-term affects of boxing's KO's that make it more dangerous--even more so that they allow you to continue to fight once you've had a concussion. In MMA, once you've even been "stunned"--depending upon the ref--they call the fight so that no more damage is done.
@drklayr LMFAO HOW THE FUK IS MMA SAFE? In MMA, you can get your bones twisted backwards, get kneed in the face, get elbowed, get punched repeatedly, fight in the ground, get your bones cranked, get kicked everywhere repeatedly, and more. In boxing, you wear safety gloves and all you do is punch. How the fuk is mma safer then boxing? MMA IS MORE DANGEROUS
@iAnglesClan Their safety record speaks for itself regardless of how dangerous you think those techniques SHOULD be.
Besides all the extra targets, the grappling, the removal of standing eight counts and restarts for fighters who have been knocked down equals less damage to the head. I dunno about you, but dealing with the relatively rare dislocated elbow for a few weeks is way less serious than having brain damage for life.
@thatrugbyguy Lol? Where are you getting all these informations? Brain damage for life? LOLS~! Yeah I'm pretty sure you can get a brain damage, but you think you can't get brain damage in mma also? In mma, it allows EVERYTHING. You get can punched in the head also and get brain damage. Boxers don't have the strongest punches, if that's what you're going to say.
@iAnglesClan You can get brain damage in both sure, but you simply get hit in the head more often in boxing. The everything in mma isn't all targeted on the head and body. It often doesn't even involve striking at all, or is in positions where you can't generate as much power.
Plus you don't have fighters standing up and continuing multiple times when they would have been finished the first time in an MMA match.
And yes, comparing punches to punches, boxers have harder hands. Their specialists.
im not sure but i read somewhere 90% of boxers end up with some sort of brain damage listen to them talk they always slur their words mma fighters the fight ends quick boxing goes on and the punches add up

mma is safer if you are looking at just punches too the head but count everything how many times can you get choked out in a lifetime and still have no brain damage the only reason mma is safer is because they mostly roll around on the ground for 15 minutes
MrStocktonian 1 year ago
@MrStocktonian The percentage of brain damage resulting from MMA is FAAAARR less than that of boxing (for obvious reasons). It is still possible so I agree with you. It's not all choking. The "rolling" is done to get the opponent into a position that allows the other opponent to get a submission (but i wouldn't doubt you knew that already ;)
jcruz04 1 year ago
@MrStocktonian put it this way.. MMA has NEVER had a death. Even today, boxing continues to have over 20 deaths every single year, despite the fact that they must wear headgear in amateur fights. In the old days when they did not wear head gear, the death rate was even higher.
hustleboy62 1 year ago

mma is safer... not because the SPORT is safer... I mean dumping people on their heads is pretty dangerous... Its safer because the level of competition. Most top end boxers are finely tuned machines. Most top end MMA guyz have 6 fights and are basically mediocre at one type of fighting and just terrible at the rest
Gooseman2k2 1 year ago
It's hard to say. Boxers take WAY more punches to the head than MMA fighters. When an MMA fighter takes too many shots to the head usually it's stopped
Billy7ue32 1 year ago
mma is more safe because once you get knocked out the fight is over. and because in boxing you can get punch way more times and not get knockedout
optimoe54 1 year ago

@bosanaczauvjek U cannot determine that I am retarded by one typing mistake. You see how football players end up. Do they all have parcinsons disease? NO! What I'm trying to say is that the avg. That means less Brain damage, thus less problems later on in life. 500 punches a fight throughout around 100 fights. thats taking around 50,000 punches overall! freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina he had a pre existing condition an was not cleared to fight in japan so he fought in the ukraine and in ufc and under the state athletic commission a fighter can not fight with out a standard physical, MRI scan and many other procedures. plain out he would have not fought in the us or japan so mma is perfectly safe, and safer than boxing
bmatic11 1 year ago
@bmatic11 But it was still a mma event! What I'm trying to say is that no combat sport is "perfectly safe", this goes for both boxing and or mma. For you to say that there was "no death in an mma event" and that a combat sport is "perfectly safe" is such bunkum.
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina You are dumb dude. No sport period is 100% safe. More people die in football than in MMA. MMA is not dangerous at all compared to boxing. 20% of boxers suffer brain problems in their lives. Boxing is a dumb sport and MMA will destroy it!
7tylerjb 1 year ago
@7tylerjb If I'm a dumb dude, then you're a door knob calling yourself an Einstein, Of course there are more people who died from other sports because MMA still has a very premature history! You dumb Batholin's gland! Boxing has been here since the 1800's. MMA started back in 1990, do the math Quantum physicist dip-shit. I never said nor argued that boxing is safer than MMA, All I was saying that people have died competing in MMA, (Doug Dedge for example). Kickboxing said they were gonna too.LOL
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina The total deaths in the ring for boxing from 1998-2006 is 70 total. The total deaths in the ring from 1998-2006 was only 1 and occured in Russia to a guy who had previous injuiries and was blacking out before the fight. How is that for your little time period argument. Don't hand me that premature history bullshit. Boxing is continous blows to the head while MMA goes quick and has few punches to the head. This is why MMA is way safer.
BOXING 70 deaths
MMA 1 Death
7tylerjb 1 year ago
@7tylerjb Okay first of all, I never was arguing that boxing is safer than MMA or how many deaths in either side. I was mere justifying that there had been people killed(responding to the other dude who said there has been no death in MMA), Sam Vasquez and Doug Dedge. Then there's you jumping the gun, arguing with me and being offensive. I was not even arguing and I was merely justifying. I bet you're like a guy who just talk and does not watch or think about what he says.
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina First of all Douglas Dedge's fight was an unsanctioned fight in Ukraine so that doesn't count. Plus he had a pre-existing medical condition and wasn't medically cleared to fight in the U.S. or Japan. As for Sam Vasquez, he was known to drink alcohol frequently, had a faulty pre-medical exam if any one at all, and he was also 35 years old which is pretty old to be fighting in MMA. Not to mention he took a hard punch and was dropped and the referree allowed him to still get back up.
7tylerjb 1 year ago
@7tylerjb Obviously, with your response you have an I.Q. of a single-celled organism, wow dude. It doesn't matter if it was an unsanctioned bout or not it was still a MMA event! What your saying is like if a boxer died back in the 1800's from an unsanctioned bout and it was well documented and it does count? LOL!!! For your second defense of excuses for the Vasquez death is just pure immature logic,LOL!
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina "He was known to drink alcohol excessively" and "35 years old"? Randy Couture and Shane Carwin are just a few guys over 35 years or over, but that's beside the point. Are the two deaths happened in an MMA event? YES. Are you a dumb-ass? Hell a Big resounding YES!!!!!!!!!! Bwaahaha
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina meant to say "does not count"
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina Ok whether you agree with my argument or not it has been clearly established that MMA is way safer than boxing. I mean in a 10 year period there were 70 boxing deaths and only 1 MMA death. The main reason is of course because boxers take tons of blows to the head. If you like boxing then fine, but it isn't going to be a sport much longer. MMA will take over as the predominant combat sport.
7tylerjb 1 year ago
@7tylerjb Dude, you're the one one arguing with yourself! lol. I just wanted to justify that there had been deaths in an MMA event, because there are some people here who said that there had been no fatalities, but fan boys like you would just blindly defend the sport even though there's nothing to argue about, lol. Boxing is here to stay and MMA to grow as a sport, stop comparing the two, similar combat sports but different. Stop being offensive next time just cause your behind the computer.
freeflymedina 1 year ago
@freeflymedina You are still failing to realize boxing is slowly but surely becoming extinct lol. MMA is as close as it gets to actual fighting or street fighting. Boxing is only one aspect of fighting. Boxing is going to lose alot fans when pacquiao retires. He is the only non-black good boxer left. Otherwise the whole sport is just black people and boring to watch.
7tylerjb 1 year ago
@7tylerjb How can a sport die? Now a sport can be more popular than than another but a sport can't die. Plus they use boxing in MMA. Why is only boxing dieing, in mma they use wrestling too an that not dead. You make no sense plus there hell of a lot boxing fans still around. No sport has died and and will never die. Sports have been around for too many years to just die

@7tylerjb I really don't see way, if people want to keep watching boxing let the. What does it matter. You watch MMA and the other people watch boxing problem solved. Why do people compare sports. See all sports have great talent
hotjavon 1 year ago
@7tylerjb I agree. We should get rid of people punching each other with the most powerful punches (trust me a boxer punches much harder than an MMA person), and we should keep men in skimpy clothing rolling around on the floor trying to hold each other and get the other person to give up.
You're pretty open with your sexuality, and I commend that.

@IHaveNoNameRawr good job your the dumbest person on youtube once again you have proved to be incredibly stupid have you ever heard of weight classes your probably wondering what they are there those things that make sure fighters are the same weight now I know that you admire the simplicity of boxing and how its exactly like rock-em sock-em robots so leave MMA to the smart people who might not have as much free time as you LOSER =)
mofobichfuk 1 year ago
@mofobichfuk This explains why I've seen big ass fat people weighing in at least 200+ pounds fighting smaller people at weights of what look like 160-170, even though Heavyweight is 200+ and 170 is a Light Heavyweight. Besides, most of those faggy ass MMA people can't fight anyway.
IHaveNoNameRawr 1 year ago
@IHaveNoNameRawr its funny because if a boxer attempted MMA he wouldn't last a second Mr. to much free time who can't fight maybe you should look up what time is because I don't feel like dealing with people as dumb as you today so after you look up the definition of time then you might understand that over time things change and you won't see 200+ fighters against welterweights any more and by the way MMA is a mix of fighting styles dumbass even the most dense of people know that you LOSER =)
mofobichfuk 1 year ago
@mofobichfuk MMA isn't a mix of fighting styles. It's shitty Jiu Jitsu mixed with very little boxing talent. If a boxer learned even basic Jiu Jitsu, he'd whoop the fucking shit out of any of your MMA faggots. Luckily, Boxers aren't homosexual enough to enjoy wrapping their legs around men, so we'll never have to worry about them learning Jiu Jitsu and being stuck in that MMA bullshit.

Vasquez had two separate surgeries to remove blood clots from his brain, and shortly after the second operation suffered a major stroke and never regained consciousness."
freeflymedina 1 year ago
this is RIDICULOUS. how is mma safer than boxing? boxers take more punches but they are being hit with larger gloves. In mma people get knocked out by knees and kicks AND GET CHOKED OUT...that's a lot more dangerous. YOu stupid mma fans are blind. You agree with everything as long as it sounds good for mma.
alexpalalove 1 year ago
@alexpalalove It's the long-term affects of boxing's KO's that make it more dangerous--even more so that they allow you to continue to fight once you've had a concussion. In MMA, once you've even been "stunned"--depending upon the ref--they call the fight so that no more damage is done.
Ronnock 1 year ago
@drklayr LMFAO HOW THE FUK IS MMA SAFE? In MMA, you can get your bones twisted backwards, get kneed in the face, get elbowed, get punched repeatedly, fight in the ground, get your bones cranked, get kicked everywhere repeatedly, and more. In boxing, you wear safety gloves and all you do is punch. How the fuk is mma safer then boxing? MMA IS MORE DANGEROUS
iAnglesClan 1 year ago
@iAnglesClan Their safety record speaks for itself regardless of how dangerous you think those techniques SHOULD be.
Besides all the extra targets, the grappling, the removal of standing eight counts and restarts for fighters who have been knocked down equals less damage to the head. I dunno about you, but dealing with the relatively rare dislocated elbow for a few weeks is way less serious than having brain damage for life.
thatrugbyguy 1 year ago
@thatrugbyguy Lol? Where are you getting all these informations? Brain damage for life? LOLS~! Yeah I'm pretty sure you can get a brain damage, but you think you can't get brain damage in mma also? In mma, it allows EVERYTHING. You get can punched in the head also and get brain damage. Boxers don't have the strongest punches, if that's what you're going to say.
iAnglesClan 1 year ago
@iAnglesClan You can get brain damage in both sure, but you simply get hit in the head more often in boxing. The everything in mma isn't all targeted on the head and body. It often doesn't even involve striking at all, or is in positions where you can't generate as much power.
Plus you don't have fighters standing up and continuing multiple times when they would have been finished the first time in an MMA match.
And yes, comparing punches to punches, boxers have harder hands. Their specialists.
thatrugbyguy 1 year ago
