Dead Pixel Fix

You'll actually find this technique is used for fixing STUCK pixels (ones that are red, green or blue) A black pixel is a dead pixel, as no colours are being sent to it causing it to stay off, which is normally due to an dodgy transistor which is rare to fix. I'm not saying it wont work on your dead pixels, it'll just have a higher success rate on a stuck pixel.

yeah it would have been nice for the video to be WIDESCREEN, but you can just leave it in window mode and put the actual video over the dead pixel. i just did that and it fixed it!! mine is ViewSonic, 1 month old, yesterday got a dead pixel and now is gone :)) actually what would be the best - to use the actual program that has a speed of at least 100 frames per second, as far as i know you tune allows only 24 or something...

This worked for me, i had a huge line right across my (ipod) screen. I don't know if it was the video, but i kept putting pressure onto the black/grey line, and it worked :D
