  • THANKS

  • Thank you soooooooooo much!!

  • Is it original ????

  • Cards used were Aladdin 1001 smooth finish. Awesome cards if you can get your hands on some :)

  • name of deck please =)? thank you

  • why is the last card a different color, just wondering

  • slow the fuck down rofl

  • Thank you! It took a while to get it right, but you have made it possible :) If I was going to ask anything, it would be whether there is a certain technique for keeping the cards together or whether it is just practice. Thanks again.

  • How hard is this is it really hard or medium or what?

  • @Jamony1 , this is easy

  • DUDE WTF?!?! The slow mo is even faster!! i cant get this!!

  • @DreBombs Start by learning the basic Sybil if you can't follow this. You'll get there.

  • i like the end ace flourish i can incorperate the begining with a previous trick i learned thank you

  • what type of deck u using

  • Dude, you are great ! I will subcribe because your tutorial(s) are aweome !

  • thnx pretty easy and cool tutorial

  • thank you sooooouch!!

  • i have trouble with the charlier pass

  • tyhanks great tut

  • One of the coolest ace production I have ever seen.

  • Wow kevinho is amazing.. Even turning over the cards after the charlier looks fancy...

Keep it up! Great fan of yout work!

  • i like ur bonus idea number 1!

  • Oh its fasle... even cooler lol :P

  • Can you do a tutorial for the ace production, and thanks for the very nice tut =)

  • @MikkelTheMagician I think the setup is from the top, 3 face down aces, 1 face up aces, rest of the deck.. When you do the sybil, just lift the 4 aces as a packet, then do a sybil. At 0:15, try to lift 2 top aces. And then, do the rest and Booyah!!! 4 aces production. Hha..

  • dude tht last one you did with the aces was crazy

  • thank you so much...I am a complete beginner for card flourishing and this is my first move I am learning. I love u soo much, although it was difficult It has only taken me 6 hours. hard learning the card switching and turning bits....but still I got it. try and include the finger positioning more and do the thing half the speed. Also it would be great to do the extra bits slowly so we can learn them tooooo

    -michael

  • well can you make another vid where you do it left handed please.ill subscribe.

  • It'd actually be easier for you to just download the video and horizontally flip it yourself. A quick visit to Keepvid[dot]com and a Google search for "horizontal flip youtube" should get you on the right track.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • @dramakid703 I'm left handed and I learned it just fine. It is difficult when you're starting out but you'll eventually learn to reverse it yourself.

(I know this is from 7 months ago, but still)

  • do it left handed because im not getting it.

  • Should have told me that three years ago when I made this!

    -Kev, The Virts

  • Is it blind ???

  • Yup; it's a full-deck-order retention.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • what the song

  • The song is "Drive" by Incubus.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • song please

  • wat song is this?

  • thank you so much i was so bad to flourishing but you have helped me so much !! subbed and 5* everybody sub to him !!!!!!

  • I'll use that

  • Love this flourish.

  • whats the song?

    love the video.

  • whoa the variation at the end was wicked

  • ur from the virts I'm a member and by the way very smooth

  • 1:06 nice

  • the other idea is really a kicker. do you do tutorial on those other idea to ?

  • lol that last one with the aces was sick

  • too fast

  • no, it isn't, but you should know the basic movements of the sybil before learning it

  • nice tut, great bonus ideas, like the four aces idea. Gonna work that out or is it already somewhere?

  • Yeah - its not really taught anywhere, mostly there as a possible inspiration for variations of the move. Do feel free to play around with it - given enough time and practice I'm sure you'll discover some neat variations of your own.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • thanks a lot, subscribed

  • @kevhonline hey man youre singaporean too right? awesome cut by the way. mind teaching me how you produce the four aces? also if you have the time please check out my jazz aces video and tell me what you think. from what ive heard from jeremy, you and bone are flourishers but still the opinion would be great,

    thanks!

  • Hey,

Checked out your Jazz Aces performance. I felt that some of the handling could be a little more smoothened out, and that the inclusion of the deck box seems a little unmotivated—of course, in real life you probably perform it with patter, so perhaps that would validate that sequence then. Other than that, it seems to have potential—keep working on it!

As for Singapore, I wasn't born there but I did live in it for 12 years. Been a magician for 7 too... good times.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • cool thanks learned

  • what song is this??? anyone??

  • drive incubus??

  • Very nice Kevin, I like it. Nice Alladins.

  • nice 5/5 gonna practice it!!

  • Finally a tutorial without awful music

  • wow kevin.. that is awesome

  • thanks man ur the best

  • the last variation with the four aces was sick!

  • pretty nice, thank you

  • 5/5

  • this is a false cut

  • Gah! I almost got it up to speed and now I realize I've been grabbing the packet at 0:12 the long way instead of on the sides right. Don't forget to watch his fingering carefully.

  • ur tutorial is clear and i learned it finally^^

    THX,

btw,how long had u practice to finish it within 4 secs?

  • By the time I made this tutorial I'd been doing this flourish for almost 2 years... simply put, the more practice the better ;)

    -Kev, The Virts

  • wow! impressive!

  • I like this guy

  • y was like wtf ? jaja with the cards in my hand damn im so stupid jaja

  • you are very inspirational, i started flourishing because of that

you are very smooth with cards :P

  • great tutorial

  • last one

  • can u teach deck flip? tg

nice vid, so hard to perfect!

  • I won't be teaching the TG Deck Flip in a video tutorial on Youtube, but if you're interested, Dan and Dave Buck cover it in their Trilogy DVD in the 'everythingelse' section.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • your amazing and really smoothe.

    thanks for teacheing

  • Hi kev, great tutorial, I use the revolution cut instead of a charlier.

  • great vid! really helpful

  • Old School Ho ^^

  • Hey buddy, I like this move But i was wondering about the bonus ideas, will you be putting a tutorial or something on them ?

    Cheers buddy.

  • Thanks! As for the bonus ideas, I won't be teaching them as they are more of suggestions than actual, out-and-out instructions - feel free to play around with the move, and with time you'll be able to come up with some neat stuff too ;)

    -Kev, The Virts

  • OLAME

  • i no rite lol

  • i learned it in like 5 minuetes great tutorial

  • please learn how you produkt the aces

  • the basic one is decent. i would probably bring the last packet to the side and then down instead of pulling it out the back (toward yourseft) to flip it face down. but the ace prod was really cool lookin. i might even use it. good job.

  • veerry goood song

  • whats the name of the song

  • VERY NICE...

  • Im having some truoble with the part at 00:10 to 00:15, do you have any tips?

  • It can be kind of weird getting used to the Sybil concept at first (there's a lot of weird grips, I know!), so I think an easy way to put it would be to just turn your left hand palm-down, with your index finger still on the packet.

That way, your thumb will be in the correct position to strip out the middle packet, and from then on it's happy flourishing!

    -Kev, The Virts

  • hoooooooooooooo

    COOL stuff Kev haha

    -Joe

  • i've come up with basically the same cut... no wonder why my friend was like "yeah, i've seen something like that before." lol, who knew? great cut though.

  • Awesome flourishes ^_^ thnax for the tutorial

  • Thanks, Matt. If you haven't already seen it, check out my group Virtuoso's channel account, 'thevirts'.

We've been working on a new project which is set to be released soon, so do keep on the lookout for that!

    -Kev, The Virts

  • Oh nice! i've been waiting for a new Virts vid =D

  • what will be the name of the project man ?pliz btw your tutorial are so amazing

  • As of right now the project's name is a secret. I suggest Following us on twitter under 'thevirts' to get notified of when it comes out ;)

    -Kev, The Virts

  • can you put up a tutorial on the bonuses? thanks

  • The bonuses were mainly put up just to show some of the possibilities with the move - play around with it, you'll discover some pretty cool things yourself.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • great video man. got it perfectly now.

    thanks very much!

  • Whats the song called?

  • Drive- Incubus

  • Is this a false cut? O:

  • Yes it is!

    -Kev, The Virts

  • what's the name for the song?

  • "Drive" by Incubus.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • 5 stars! It's very cool tutorial 8)

  • Sweet man, I got it down smoothly now ;)

    Thanks.

  • me too=)

  • Many thanks for the video !!! Excellent...5*****

  • Nice cut! It looks nice and I can do it even with my tiny hands!

Bonus ideas where insane, please post a tutorial on how to do them!

  • I love ending to that cut

    simple but effective

    great work kev

  • All right.

And thanks for the vids. :)

  • How long did u take to do this cardtrick so fast? ^^

I'm still trying and i get it only done if it goes very slow. :P

  • I made this early on when I was just toying around with the Sybil cut - I wanted something that was both false and smooth-looking. It just takes practice, so keep at it and you'll have it down in no time.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • I am trying to learn the four ace production, and I can do it up the point at which I have to pull off the top card of the deck to reveal the last two aces. This is the move I am not able to do, as I almost always pull off both aces.

Also, when it works(which happens rarely), I have problems keeping the ace between the deck and my index finger. I always need to hold it with my index and middle finger so it doesn't fall to the ground.

I hope you could maybe give me some tips.

  • wow,i m impressed

  • dang ur good

  • Amazing cut and tutorial. 5 stars

  • charlie pass?...i always thought it was just a normal hudini cut...(fail at spelling hudini...maybe?) lol ^_^;

  • Supar dupar fail at teh spellzorz - 'Charlier'; 'Houdini'.

Anyway, although Houdini is known to have done the Charlier Pass, the original credits righteously belong to Sir Charlier.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • thanks man. that helped.

however if i use a two card packet as the top one i end up just having one card at the end when i pull it through the charlier. i also have one face up ace and TWO face down ones on top of the deck.

the way i assumed you do the production, you need to pull two aces through the charlier so you can use your middle finger to produce one of the aces.

ok. i think ill put a video up later today of just the move.

do you think you could check it out and tell me what you think?

  • heyy. i was wondering if you could help me out.

ive been trying to learn the four ace production you included at the end..but i cant seem to control the aces into the positions they are needed to finish the move.

    any suggestions?

  • In short:

Start off with three face-down aces on top of the deck, followed by a face-up ace. With your right index finger, procure a small break underneath the top two cards at the outer short edge of the deck.

Break into Sybil 947, having it so that the two cards above the break comprise of the uppermost packet, with the rest of the deck comprising the two lower packets. Resume normally, and refer to the video for timing and handling.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • Great job!

  • nice bonus parts mate..

and oh, I always check this vid cus I want to see if mine look as nice as yours (card handling).. and Am kinda near.. ^^

hey, can I come with you when you visit the bucks? am from philippines and am quite near you.. lol.. j/k mate..

    well, cheers!..

  • pls tell me how to do the aces thing at the end i cannot figure it out!

  • It's a change to get a sybil that's based on smoothness as opposed to speed, thanks for this, awesome cut.

  • Glad to see that more people are 'getting' it nowadays. Hehe.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • hey kevin. i knw its by incubus. but whats the song??

  • Drive- Incubus

  • I just love you cuts Kevin! Your tutorials are always so simple to follow. Thanks again.

  • Love ur vids, sweet job. Can you show or explain the bonus at the end with the ace production?

  • kool but you should teach the bonus ideas

  • Absolute Brilliant mate. Your card control is phenominal!

  • Try revolution cut at end instead charlier :)

    it looks more fancy

  • It would look more complicated, but in my opinion the Charlier flows better with the overall style of the cut. It's completely up to you, though :D

    -Kev, The Virts

  • thanks m8 this a really good tutorial keep it up

  • i've mastered it!

    wats the 947 stands for??

  • Glad to hear :D

As for the number 947, it doesn't mean anything - it's just meant to imply the countless number of Sybil variations out there, and that this is the 947th one.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • plus it sounds awesome

  • hello!i'm hk people

Can you give me the music name

    thank!

  • Incubus - Drive

  • I've watched this video over like 20 times just to get your technique right.

You my sir, are a god.

    Card wise lol.

  • the one at the end was just gorgeouusss lol..

im doing my best with the sybil except i just cant seem to understand the first movei can do the rest

  • nice one but the tuturial goes a bit too fast ^^

  • i've been checking out your cuts and i like most of them but i don't like 1 fact that the hands are usually not connected. i mean like for example the madonna cut, there is a packet that u have to clip between your thumbs. but your cuts are nice hope to see more.

  • It's all a matter of style - this is just how I do it. Check out my tutorial for |2agnarok, it's run purely on 'connected' packets.

    -Kev, The Virts

  • nice aladdin deck.

  • Little Bit Fast But It's ok ;)

  • Very Cool.

  • Keep up the good work, KevH!

Hope to see new ideas and stuff from you soon :)

    -Kev

  • Magikman, I'd would pay to see you even attempt anything that Kev H can pull off.

  • whats that last ace thing?

  • It used to be called 'Spitfire', but it's nothing too major to be a thing on its own so I just included it here as a bonus idea.

    -Kev

  • ok, thanks
