@jraybay I think the main reason is lower shifting time. I mean, with a paddle you don't have to reach over and grab the stick. Probably easier. That's why I don't like it. Why not drive with a stick like the production cars do to keep them as stock as possible? And I started racing with a stick. And I probably will stop using one once I get into GP2. I just think stick shifting is more challenging.

This greatly affected the NSX downforce. NSX's min weight was also put at 1150kg while the SC430 and GTR were 1100kg.
