  • I don't understand what everyone's problem is. All silverdude11 has done is made a tribute to lord of the rings but put Hans Zimmer music to it. He is not disrespecting Howard Shore in any way.

  • What;s wrong with using the music by the actual composer of LOTR? Bit insulting to Howard Shore really.

  • This video actually brought tears to my eyes. Without a shadow of a doubt, this is one of the top 10 videos I have ever seen.

  • Define Irony: A tribute to a movie that hosted some of the most recognizable movie scores in history, using the wrong composer.

  • HOWARD SHORE!

  • beides ist scheise !

  • The movie is the best, but what,s wrong with the soundtracks!?

  • The movie is the best, but what,s wrong with the soundtracks!?

  • good job silverdude11, but i dont like one thing.. that you dont put a tracklist.

    these are the songs:

0:36-1:55 Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Hi, Hans Zimmer

    2:10-3:14 Last samurai Trailer

    3:15-7:22 Injection, Hans Zimmer

7:24-8:52 Now we are free, Hans Zimmer

  • This video... is idk how to say it. It is amazing, it brings out the love i have for Lord of the Rings that was never lost, this video symbolizes the reason why i love LOTR.

  • what's the first song?

  • BRILLIANT ! !

  • 2:42 soundtrack name? so wild.

  • smaller screen in a small screen....

    but very nice video :D

  • Well done. Great editing. Although the score was originally by Howard Shore you really managed to choose the perfect pieces from Hans Zimmer music. Well done again!!

  • simply curious, were you drunk when you made this?

  • A small tribute to a small country. Lord of the Rings was, is and will be the best movie ever. I hope you enjoy what I did. : /watch?v=ERQ0AZQdgP4

  • Wow this'll piss Howard Shore off. Since he is the one who wrote the music for The Lord of The Rings.... Ouch. I'm not saying Zimmer isn't a great composer but boy this makes me appreciate Shore's score alot.

  • Wow this'll piss Howard Shore off. Since he is the one who wrote the music for The Lord of The Rings.... Ouch

  • The composer isn't Hans Zimmer is Howard Shore, Howard Shore!!! :D

  • @duhastmitch the composer of the lord of the rings soundtrack is Howard Shore but this tribute has been made using soundtracks that Hans Zimmer has composed

  • @duhastmitch these songs are by Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore composed the ones for LotR which are not these, its just a tribute using Zimmer's songs

  • @duhastmitch Hans Zimmer was the composer for Thin Red Line and Gladiator. Howard Shore composed the LOTR music.

  • @duhastmitch

yes, the original score for LOTR is Howard Shore's, but this song is from MI 11, which is Hans Zimmer's score !!!!!

  • @duhastmitch wrong man, Hanz zimmer

  • this is a great job ;) very good i love it

  • Didn't Howard Shore do the music for TLOTR?

  • @FvckTheFvckingSystem yeah but doesn anyone give a fuck about howard shore

  • @hinokagutsuchio

I am a great fun of Hans Zimmer, but that doesn' t mean that I don' t appreciate good music from other composers. I believe that no one would have composed better music for this movie than Howard Shore, even Hans Zimmer. So please the next time think before you post a comment...

  • oh my god, lisa gerrard fits great into LOTR!!!

  • I love it all...Injection is the best tho--particularly at the battle of Pelenor Fields! Masterfully mixed and edited. This has been a favorite for a long time.

  • This movie is sad when you finally finish it,then it's even more sad to know that ten years later,I'm still watching this with the same responses, laughing, jumping, and crying ;-; so sad that the LOTR series of movies is done... or maybe in the future it will be revived!!:D

  • Wow, just epic nothing but great and epic! 5 Stars and of course one of the best favourites here on youtube! Thanks a lot!

  • i thougt hans zimmer didn't make music voor Lord of The Rings...

  • excellent job mate. except that mental gospel choir which scared the shit out of me

  • in about 60 years lotr is gonna be one of the greatest classic trilogies if not the greatest of all movie history. im gonna be sitting in my rocking chair and telling my grandchildren the story of frodo baggins and samwise the brave lol

  • music from howard shore ....

  • the music is from howard shore...isn`t it?

  • @TheSmokyquark The soundtrack of Lotr yes, but in this vid, other music (by Hans Zimmer) is used. Look at the description.

  • would not mind but the opening song is from the thin red line

  • its so epice btw the name of the song before injection

  • just epic

  • hey really good video!! could you tell me the name of the first song?? love it ^^ greets

  • @CelticOath it's from the film The Thin Red Line I can' think of the name of it, but it's in that soundtrack

  • @MOTHMAN225 thaaaaaaaaaanks :D

  • i see in Hans Zimmer the Beethoven of the Millenium ... He is the most talented musician in these fucking years with the Dead Can Dance tribute btw the girl in the second song is from Dead Can Dance...Her name is Lisa Gerrard .... peace all

  • absolutly amazing *__*

  • 4:40 the most epic scence in the movie

  • This movie can not be replace . I will never see a movie as epic as this one .

  • @antisteax i think avatar is more epic. :)

  • from 3.18 is awesome, esp Injection fits very well...

The eagles part already contained beautiful emotional music by Howard Shore...

    anyways... great job;)

  • What is the name of the song that is during 2:39? I like the drum beat and the majestic sound of it but it so hard to find these songs.

  • the thin red line = strange movie

  • epic

  • Why is the opening song in there? Wasnt that a Melanesian choir song that had little to do with Zimmer outside of being on the same track for The Thin Red Line?

And the song I believe is called 'Jisas Yu Hand Blong Mi'. I'm fairly sure Zimmer had nothing to do with it, though.

  • @jibberjabber098 but it makes me dream :)

  • The happy singing and clapping... Borormirs death didn't fit in in that part :P

  • Actually Howard Shore did the music for LOTR

  • Perfect! no other words

  • Howard Shore did an amazing job with lotr music. but Hans Zimmer is just legendary. still howard shore's score fits the best!

  • Silverdude11... thats a fantastic Video with very good music and great scenes from LotR

  • what a name please?First song!)

  • could you please name the begging song for me please?

  • love the charche!

  • The music for Lord of the Rings is by Howard Shore

And Enya sings in the movie. NOT Lisa Gerrard

  • goosebumps ...

    EPIC music after 3:15

  • 3:17 to end - beautiful music.

  • Absolutely fantastic, thank you for uploading!! I love the way you edited the video with the various pieces of musicbehind it. I believe the first song really sets the scene, it is something different, but everything follows from there. Brilliant!!!

I have to say one of the best montages I've seen on Youtube....

  • the first song realy is BORING, but the rest is AWESOME

  • Wow.......

  • the last scene is from Gladiator

    But its beautiful

  • one word amazing!

  • the first song is jisas yu holden blong mi or something from the thin red line, it doesnt really fit

  • "injection" perfect match for when the riders of rohan crash into the infantry line of orcs. thank u

  • i mean the first sing is from the movie "The Thin Red Line"

  • This just got me in the mood to watch the uncut lord of the rings movies!

  • What was the Name of the first song?

  • nicely done man

  • Whats the name of the 3rd song? The one with Lisa Gerrard(I think)

  • ok i need some help could anyone anser these questions thanks.

    1. How did sauron come alive after all these years?

    2. who the hell was morgoth?( the master of sauron?)

    3. How did sauron gather such a huge army, where did they find the orcs from, did they breed?

    4. Why couldnt the undead amry help earlier on in the previous battles?

    thanks!

  • read the simillarion there you can find all answers!

  • 1. sauron never died, his spirit was always living in the ring.

think of it like a horcux from harrypotter if uve read that. Sauron spirit was always growing power but he spent like 500 years or so with in the 2000 years since he had been stabbed by isildur gathering orcs and stuff from the east.

    2. morgoth was like this evil god who originally created all the orcs trolls and evil things. He gained supporters that were lesser gods, one of them was sauron.

  • 3. there were elves that lived in the east which is this giant open plain that basically streches for miles. its like the same size as the western part of middle earth and its called rhun, Sauron had spent all of time there and corrupted the elves with evil powers and transformerd them to orcs, he also might of bred them with beasts and men. There are girl orcs, so they can breed i guess, but it is also said that they can get like born from the earth,so im not really sure

  • 4. undead army only answers to the king of gondor since the king made them undead. There was no king until Aragorn decided that he wuld fallow his destiney

  • King of Gondor did not make the men of the hills undead. They did not come to Gondor in their time of need and so they were cursed to forever walk the earth until they fufill their oath to the king. If they had fufilled their oath to the King then they'd be dead dead right now and not undead.

  • 5 stars for the last couple of minutes... the music went beautifully with the clips. And I'm also a big fan of Hans Zimmer. ;)

  • saurons spirit is bound to the ring - ring wasnt destroyed therefore he lived. (similar to a horcrux from harry potter lol) just needed to gather strenth.

morgoth was the first evil dude - the high elves (more powerful than elves in these films killed him) left sauron alone because he became good, however he then went evil again.

orc question i cant remember... but they used to be elves so maybe they are elves who have died in combat?

the dead only answer to king of gondor. (no king at start)

  • the piece with the song injection at the speech of theoden is absolutely perfect:P

  • absolutely perfect..thank you

  • @yeuhyunmin312 i think that women singing is called enya we are free if u still want to now its from the film gladitor

and brilliant vid you have put here who ever did it !!

  • hans zimmer - now we are free... why does every1 think enya wrote it?

singer is lisa garret (check spelling) :) so hanszimmer ft lisa garret. :)

  • Because Lisa Garret sings like Enya or so everyone believes, I guess it might be because they're both women xP But Enya is more mystical in singing.

  • This is sooooooooooooo good! Thanks a lot! Masterpiece!!!

  • absolutely masterful, sir.

btw - name of the song with the woman's voice starting around 3:30?

    stunning

  • Thx :D

The song is called Injection from Hans Zimmer ;-)

  • @silverdude11 Lisa Gerrard

  • @yeuhyunmin312

    Hans Zimmer - Injection

    greet from Germany

  • is thins red line,, but ur right no one should mess with the original lotr tracks.. they are just too awesome.

  • I don`t think there`s any need to put LOTR together with any other music that it was originally. There will never be anything better for it than the soundtrack made by H.Shore.....

The music you added itself, doubtless, is great.

  • is the music that starts at 0:37 from THIN RED LINE, when the black children start singing :D

  • no they didnt in africa it was new zealand idiot

  • The ending of LOTR 3 when they board the ship when frodo is saying good bye, it just tears me up inside.

  • will always be my favorite movies of all time... not even close to anything being better

  • um, how about the music by howard shore that accompanies all three films? I love the soundtrack to the Thin Red Line, but unfortunately Melanesian choirs don't belong in Middle Earth.

  • Set in Middle Earth, Africa....

  • Cant get any better than Lord of the rings.. and Hans Zimmer is a genuis

  • Comment removed

  • The Gladiator "Honor Him" part at the end is great. And I wonder if they borrowed the smooth horizontal movement from Gladiator for Frodo as he moves above the landscape of Mordor in the same fashion Max moved over the sand of the Colosseum.

  • this is a brilliant tribute...one of the best i have seen actually great job silverdude11

  • I concur. It has been added to my favorites...for a long time.

  • hi everyone from mexico, that saong I listened fror the first time in the movie The thin red line. It is at the end of the movie, and I like, now I listened in a difrent subject.... chio

  • vete a la verga pinche frijol

  • aprende a hablar ingles primero conchudo

  • The music at 0:37-1:57 is: Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Mi (Choir of All Saints, Humiara) greetings from swizerland

  • what´s the music at 0:37-1:56 ?

  • @JazzX15 i think its from THIN RED LINE :/

  • @WolfensteinFan12 thank you:)

  • god the first few min. sucked then the music became more appropriated

  • Is Hans Zimmer music, it is also a mixt between the music from Mission Impossible2 and The Gladiator at the end

  • Guess I should've watched the whole thing before I posted my previous comment. The music is from Hans Zimmer, and not from the LOTR movies.

  • hey shakespear187

i tried to give you the "thumbs up" but the system wouldn't let me.

how many times have people commented about something without watching the whole thing, not only on YT but also in general life........

.... i plead "guilty" , having done it many times and then regretted it. well done for your admission m8. we could learn from your example.

    robbiew8n

  • The Lord of the Rings Triology soundtrack is the best ever created for any film. The theme's change with as the story progress and the characters evolve, and many characters, locations and events have their own theme; much like the romantical period. The music is sheer brilliance without its match. But... Howard Shore composed this, not Hans Zimmer.

  • This was probably one of the most epic things I ahve ever seen, hans zimmer is a genius and LOTR is a beatiful movie.

  • is the begining scene from the extended edition cause i dont remember it

  • the song is , Injection - Hans zimmer

  • does somebody know how the first song is called which is being played in this video?

  • Look for:

Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blong Mi (Choir of All Saints, Humiara)

Soon My Lord (Choir of All Saints, Humiara)

Melanesian Choirs, The blessed Islands - Chants from the Thin Red Line.

    ;)

  • It's used on the score for The Thin Red Line...

  • Really? I thought you directed LOTR

  • wtf.....Danny Elfman did LOTR

  • correction howard shore sorry

  • no it was peter jackson

  • Howard Shore composed the whole trilogy...1ne

  • 2:30 to 3:00 is from the last samurai =P

    i remember that movie lol

  • great video and nice mixing with the songs, thanks

  • i miss LOTR i hope HBO will gonna play this again !!

  • Amazing and beautiful video

  • Soundtrack

0:35 - 2:00 Thin Red Line: Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blom Mi

    2:30 - 3:00 I dont know

    3:15 - 7:20 Mission Impossible 2: Injection

    7:30 Gladiator: Honor Him

  • I think the 2:30 to 3:00 is from the last samurai

  • THE BEST FILM =(

    Miss this world..

  • best books, and best movies of all time.

  • agreed....after all these years i still can't stop reading the books and watching the movies.

  • what song is at 3:55-4:25

  • I know it's Lisa Gerrard but I'm not sure which album it was pulled from.

  • A very well produced film about a clan of pathetic little hobbits- so whimsical it made me want to kill those pussy faggot hobbits myself

  • Why add Zimmer scores to an already epic, legendary etc soundtrack? It is simply wrong. I have nothing against Zimmer (he's one of my favs), but Shore left no room for any other score on this film - that is how good lotr ost is.

  • true. very true, but maybe the person who made this thought it would fit, its all about opinions

  • ther lord of the rings the best film ever...

  • how do u can the music from 0:39? where people start to sing?

  • that is a sountrack from the film "the thin red line" composed by hans zimmer. it is called Jisas Yu Holem Hand Blom Mi
