What I love about the drums on these games is you still have to have "It" when it comes to staying with the rhythm...I've seen even the best guitar players get dumbfounded when they try playing the guitar on these games....Not drummers like me...We can play this game and immediately master it.

To be more clear, on beat 2 and beat 4, your right hand, not your left hand, hits the snare drum on the drum kit. If this where reversed, you could not transfer the drumming motion from Rock Band onto a real kit. Rock Band cares about giving a semi realistic experience, and as a drummer, they do an ok job. World tour gets around this problem with the second cymbal, which rock band doesn't have.

i wonder why they switched the notes. normally, the hi-hat is the yellow note and the snare drum is the red note. but the hi-hat is the red note and the snare is the yellow note. can anybody explain why it's like that? to me, it just makes the song more complicated.

@bloodvein3 Its to mimic how its actually played IRL. Its two hands on the high hat, with the right hand, not the left, coming down for the snare. If they reversed it, you would have to cross your hands over each other every time you wanted to hit the snare. It just doesnt work.

Also, if your using the RB drum kit for WT's songs, and it STILL has it as yellow for the HighHat and red for the snare, your playing it /wrong/. Like, REALLY wrong.
