Look at it this way. Aerosmith and The Rolling stones are both Rock N Roll right? Do they sound identical? No. They sound different. People are starting to blend artists with genre, when it really isn't that specialized. People just like to sound like they know what they are talking about.

Porter just seems like a dubbier version of deadmau5. They both use a lot of really unique sounds, Porter just uses a touch more dub elements.

@hgfydfvadsfad Can't possibly compare the two. Porter, being a huge fan I am, is much MUCH more influenced by Dubstep. He actually says his biggest influences were dubstep artists, and it shows perfectly throughout his music. Deadmau5 uses every style possible. I could listen to Ghosts N Stuff and One Trick Pony and go, "Holy fuck, who made these tracks?" If I never knew who he was.

Alot of these producers/djs cant really mix...they sound like there jus changing there ipods!! if u never tried to mix before then u cant say its easy.Try djing n record yourself ill tell u if yur good or not...this shouldnt be that hard like u said.
