Its that easy, there are two guys which look the same. One has his lower body removed (Accident or whatever) and the other one is just normal but hes hiding in the table. You can see that in the beginning he is just standing in front of the table he couldnt do anything else because they are already cut in a half the top one just hast to fall over. When they connect the two bodyparts its the guy with complete torso just sitting really twisted, thats why his legs turned also when he went down.
i think the legs are a pair of dummy legs (legs that he can slip into) and then the magicain moves the legs with some sort wire? And the man has his legs up in this suit and then when they add the legs and torso the he slides his legs back into the leg part of his suit.
What does that mean? It must be two people, but where did they hide the upper 1/2 of the leg man and the lower 1/2 of the head man? Of course in plain sight but I saw nothing obvious which is the point of course, but not even my imagination can decrypt it.

one more thing!at 1:03 there is a montage!at this trick tonight they took out of the stage the half man!then a new guy appeared on the stage and he put him his legs back!:P tv shows hide too much!
