This song is so stupid and was wrong to add on to the movie. It was funnier having zazu yabber on while simba gets pouncing lessons. Then. Turns around to find out simba and mufasa isnt there. Why did they add songs for?!

This scene was actually not in the original movie. It was added in just for the special addition. All the voices are different because this was recently made a few years ago and not in 1994

O.O And the raccoon and the pug were there all of a sudden and then disappeared again when the song ended... It was BAD! My brother was watching it with me and we both went batshit crazy! *shakes head sadly* I recommend you find and watch it (even though it may kill you). It's probably here somewhere...

Also, whoever claimed that Randy Newman wrote this just because his songs, ahem, "Aren't catchy", better actually mean that and not just be blindly agreeing with the Nostalgia Critic. Honestly, I can't help thinking anyone who says that needs to at least see "Cats Don't Dance" before claiming that Newman sucks as a songwriter. I wanna know how his songs sound like rewrites of "You Got a Friend in Me". I've never felt that way about any of his songs. In fact all of his songs sound different.

Its an alright song, they should not mess with the classics though in my opinion. Like they can keep it in the musical, it helps make the musical unique! But to change the original movie and put it in there....its just.... the movie should not have been touched. Period. In my opinion at least.

I never knew that the original Zazu was Mr. Bean, but this isn't him, this is Jeff Bennett. This Simba is different as well, since this song was added more than a decade later, the original kid did some growing up.
