@EVERYONE Disregarding Ridley's methods, do none of you find this police behavior offensive? Dave was legally there, but when asked to leave, as is the property owner's right, he did so. Slowly, yes, but once in the parking areas he was walking the same speed as the cops. You think it's ok to arrest someone for trespassing when they immediately start obeying the order to leave? Is he supposed to teleport himself instantly? I find it disturbing that you AREN'T offended by these cops
You just push it so you keep getting arrested. You continue to try to make your point by getting arrested. This makes you look like a fool. When all is said and done, the police go home and you go to jail and are thankfully off the streets.
You literally sound psychotic. In all your videos all you are doing is looking for trouble. Do somthing useful with your time. You think because you talk with respectful words that people believe you are being genuine and respectful? Noone believes your crap.
Technically you were breaking the law when you entered the premises. The cops were doing you a favor and asking you to leave. When you continue to film them, while backing up slowly, they can arrest you on your original charges of trespassing. When you start screaming like an idiot, they arrest you on the charges of disorderly conduct as well. Why was it so imperative to film them in the first place? Oh right, because libertarians love trying to make a "point."
Just because you know your rights and these guys are douchebags doesn't entitle you to push their buttons like you so obviously did. Time and time again I watch these videos pointing the finger at cops and their "brutality" but these guys are COPS. Don't piss them off, because until there's a judge or lawyer present, they're always going to do whatever the FUCK they want. It's America. Get used to it.
Bravo for standing up to the cops however, when you start yelling, screaming and singing like a lunatic you take attention away from the original issue which is the loss of our freedom's in this country.
all cops need to get drenched in gasoline, set on fire, put in front of a speeding bus, stomp out the flames, and feed their rotting coarpses to flesh eating piranas
@LAblueandblacc To all the dbags that have been and still are saying really bad things about or against Ridley....
In your stupid faces! It's good news from the case and I hope he goes further and prosecutes these criminal cops and action should also be taken against the hotel employees for their perjury.
Illegal search and seizure....sue and set the example. These "officers" are wrong and power trippers but only if you agree with the Constitution.......
What if he left and turned around like a good law abiding citizen would have done.He would have no footage at all. This is a blatant taunting of the hired authority doing there job,as they were trained to do.So we now have one more case to waste on tax payers money and another drama seeking activist. That is all this is to me.Ridley is another form of Ambulance Chaser.Note his dramatic help cry to a stranger near the end of tape, please.
@MrPsterling2008 It's more about deliberately not allowing the police to be bullies. It doesn't always happen, but it happens far more often than it should and it's wrong. But yeah, the singing and screaming at the end of the episode kind of makes him seem crazy, which is counterproductive.
By the way for anyone who thinks praying that they get cancer in wrong, someone is going to get cancer so why not them instead of some mother of three?
These cops are power hungry pieces of excrement If you had been in a wheelchair would you also have been going to slowly for them? Pray they get cancer.
If you ask somebody to leave your property i think there's a time limit to how long they can take to leave, especially when they appear to be going slowly just to take the piss. if i told some dude to leave my house i wouldn't accept him imitating a snail on his way out for the next 2 hours as he leaves.
@Darklordabc The whole video including his departure and arrest is within 7 minutes so your 2 hour snail analogy is a little outlandish. On he other hand this cops seems to have anger management issues he's probably use to telling his wife to jump and she asks ,how high? That assumptions not much of a stretch from the way I see him acting.
@desicasyndicat Did the Dbag who hates freedom ever come onto the youtube posts just to mock a innocent private reporter? Oh wait, there you are right now.
I truly do not understand who these protesters think they are. Instead of trying to harass people for doing their jobs, they should go out and get a job! You dont see the Nashua PD coming to their dwelling or hang-out spot and harassing him. Get a life.
I don't get it. You were arrested for trespassing? You were leaving, but you were being intentionally antagonistic to the police. What was the purpose of your protest and your actions? You didn't even make a political statement or anything. You baited and irritated the police. I don't get it.
@KoyoteeLaughter1 He wasn't there to protest he was there to be a videographer\private press agent.
He wasn't trying to be antagonistic that is just status quo for people who like Ridley are used to dealing with criminal / bad cops like these in the video. However I think you are right in that if Ridley had kept his mouth shut then the cops wouldn't have gotten pissed off and done the false arrest. He doesn't even make many statements (until later) and mostly just asks questions.
@MidnightWins2 I will say that it was not very becoming of him. However, how far do you want to take your attitude? Would you still laugh if RR was killed? Should I laugh at you if you were killed? Would you stand by and laugh at Rodney King?
YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON, GROW THE FUCK UP AND STOP ACTING LIKE A LITTLE BITCH, RESPECT LEO'S, YOU DESERVE TO GET ARRESTED YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!
Good work documenting what is the case and what is not the case; good work documenting certain facts in this matter, as they relate to the facts, unrecorded, unfortunately, of other similar instances: of what is plainly a wrongful arrest, a thuggish bet against all justice and reason, a team-building exercise in strong-arming.
Man I would be SO pissed if I was that cop!! That guy was leaving nut slowly... HOWEVER!!! That guy broke NO laws! He WAS leaving like asked and he was doing so calmly. That cop WAS a jackass there is NO law saying how fast you are supposed to leave. There was wrong on both parties.
@slew: "I encourage everyone to go to your youtube homepage and to go to mine and determine for yourselves who the real troll is here."
...at least you aren't one for the fellatio that you perform on Faux News, so you can act like you have dignity & integrity, while you have the cum of Faux News on your chin, right??
LOL!?!
Yes, I can still reach you. Asshole! YOU are pathetic!!
So he is chastising you for not answering questions when you HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN SILENT. I guess he was sick the day they taught that at the academy.
Dear RR, I support your cause, and I support of what you are doing, because you are defending constitution and want to educate the citizens of how to behave during the police encounter. However, you failed on this one my friend, because they told you to leave multiple times, and you were walking very slowly and taking your time. You were on the private property, and when you are told to leave, you leave, you dont sit around and video taping for a full 7 minutes. Thats to me not leaving.
@remyllebeau77 he was leaving, but he was video taping, which it made him walk slower. When you are told to leave, you leave immediately. He was video taping and commenting, which he was not in a hurry to leave. You are wrong on this one my friend.
@coolasshole23 Last I heard he was pressing charges or talking to a lawyer but I don't know if RR decided to drop it and even if he did that doesn't mean he doesn't have a case.
Show me the law that says what speed RR should have been going.
@remyllebeau77 drop the speed issue bro, we are talking abut leaving, and it did not seem to be RR's priority. He was video taping and commenting on the situation. He was taking his time, if he would have left quickly, that would have never happened. Here are the results, he got charged, jailed, and his car towed. Is that worth it to you?
@coolasshole23 You tell me to drop the "speed issue" at the same time that you say
"if he would have left quickly, that would have never happened" Double standard much?
Not only was he already in the parking lot but he was out of sight of the officers. THEY CAME AFTER HIM!
RR was arrested because he verbally stood up to their BS and unlawful questions. Why are you telling me the results like I don't know them? Of course it turned out bad for him, false arrest does that.
@coolasshole23 You know you can't show me any law and therefore have no basis for your argument just like those police had no lawful basis for the arrest.
@remyllebeau77 He was on a private property, what dont you get? you have to leave when you been told to leave. He was leaving, but it was not his immediate priority. When he wins the case, you come back and talk to me. If he gets the charges, then you come back and talk to me.
@coolasshole23 Cases do not determine law, law should determine cases but that is not always what happens. How about you come back and talk to me when you have a law to back up your argument.
@coolasshole23 No trespassing law is actionable immediately upon giving notice that someone is no longer welcome at a public event because nobody would have time to leave just like they didn't let Ridley leave. That is absurd. I watched the vid again to see how much time RR had and it was 2 min 40secs between the time of being told to leave and them coming to arrest him, give or take 5-10secs. Are you really trying to argue that 2min and 40 secs is trespassing? You are out of your mind.
@remyllebeau77 ok you made a good point and a bad point. Lets start with the good one shall we? ok yes it was a public event, so you cant discriminate of who can come in and who cant. If Ridley cant come in, then no one should be allowed at all. Ok, the bad argument you made is that as soon as you step your foot on the property, you are technically trespassing. it does not matter if it was for 2:40, or 1 second, you step your foot on it property you are trespassing. we agree on something here?
@coolasshole23 I am sorry, I can not agree with "as soon as you step your foot on the property, you are technically trespassing." that only applies to a non-public event on private property.
The very term "trespassing" implies being unwanted and / or uninvited. That is not possible for a public event until the owner of the property removes consent and in Ridley's case it wasn't even the owner, just a nameless employee who Ridley suspects was told to do that by police. (Another immoral act.)
@remyllebeau77 ok we got a couple of things here. Yes that law does not imply if it was on the public event. However, the owner of the property could have informed the police officers to ask Ridley to leave. If that is not the case, Ridley maybe did something earlier that could have caused one of the people to initiate a complaint against him. The police officer have a right to ask you to leave, if you were being disruptive, or any other reasons if you caused some kind of disturbance.
@coolasshole23 Yeah, God forbid some non-mainstream reporter starts walking around asking questions! We can't have that in our free society. Yes, I am sure that there was plenty of Dbag demoncrats there that would have been (or were) happy to complain about Ridley. I still question the legality of such actions. Can we really claim to be in a free society if we are reduced to complaining to or calling the cops every time someone who doesn't agree shows up to "our" public meeting?
@remyllebeau77 dont blame it on the democrats, it could be a republican initiating the same complaint. We are talking about laws here. Police have a history of escalating the situation instead of deescalating it. Police follow up on the complaints, however, they lie most of the time in order to arrest people. However, the judge most likely will find Ridley Guilty for trespassing and he was told to leave. RR got his car towed, jailed, fined, and has to go to court, is this worth it to you?
@coolasshole23 "dont blame it on the democrats," ? You do know this was a Biden meeting right?
I think it's mostly Demoncrats that go to see him speak. Why do you keep asking if it was worth it to me? It didn't happen to me it happened to Ridley, so you would really have to ask him if it was worth it. However, if it did happen to me I would probably not think that it was worth it. On the other hand, I doubt I would ever be in the same position.
@remyllebeau77 Actually I have, and I am very happy with him. Freedom 1- Nazi cops 0. However bro, he wasted a lot of money on lawyers, and walked on fire. but that doesnt matter right? because he won the case and was found not guilty. So Salut.
@coolasshole23 Okay, I live in Texas, so we have a tradition of not being messed with, although the Fed Gov is pushing us right now. However, NH if I remember is an OPEN CARRY state. So, I suggest that Ridley - and everyone else, for that matter - wear a sidearm to events. If enough people do this in a group, then the "law enforcement" (not peace officers any longer) would think twice before they mess with people and violate their Constitutional rights.
@willhahn I agree with you. Also the state of Texas almost passed the "no groping law" it was passed in the senate, but one guy decided to get the federal government involved, and threatened that there will be no law zone in Texas if the law passes. However, I highly respect the courage of texans for standing up against these pathetic laws. However my dear friend that is a separate issue, we are talking about ridley here, do you think he mishandled the situation?
Enough taking this crap laying down! Time to hire some security for yourself that are prepared to place these criminal cops under arrest and also to be prepared for when they resist arrest (believe me they will.).
Cops are morons. Obey or else! I demand submission because I took a course and I have a tin badge and a gun. Classic example of armed thugs displaying power and control belief systems. Telling someone they have to lower their voice or they'll be charged with disorderly? How pathetic. I wish more people starting reclaiming their natural rights and taking the power away from these criminals.
Dave Ridley, you are a piece of crap... If I were a cop, I woulda locked you up as well... Go back to Texas, NH is sick of you and your antics. Or at least I am, Yes, I speak for all of NH. Also, i like Abramson... Anyhow... hope you get locked up for a long time, or shipped back to Texas. NH is the last free state in this beautiful country, and you are exploiting the good things, and drawing attention to things that dfont need attention drawn too... Did i mention, i dont like you Ridley?
That cop just sounds like a 'thug' - he just keeps saying "name....name...name" and is acting on behalf of the other 'thug' in the suit. Trespass (at least here in Ireland) can ONLY be 'prosecuted' if any damage/harm has been done/inflected while on the property. Common Law (the backbone of ALL countries) 'Free Man On The Land' !!
@Boyntonstu When they bought/leased the land for which they built said parking lot and hotel upon. It then become private property, the same way your home is considered private property by you. Unless you don't respect others property rights, which would then make you no better than the police you so hate.
Trespassing on public property? uhhhhh bullshit! These cops are a bunch of dicks!! They are never there when you need them but they have 3 cops heckling ridley who is doing nothing wrong.... and all you people saying ... you should have just done what they said have no nuts of your own! " Let me keep charging you for things that you did nothing for!" Every time I have needed a cop for a serious situation they are no where too be found b/c they are busy patting ridleys balls!
Mr occifer he's singing a christian song I don't think he has a needle in his pocket that may stick you.Does anyone know the outcome here eg. court, fines,or let out with no charge?
Come on you Lawyers out there.. Some Hotshot Lawyer would do well to take this one on for FREE... wow, what great publicity he would receive to bolster their Lawfirms and careers..
Two thumbs up to the Nashua PD for acting professionally when confronted with a grown man acting like a teenage college kid. Of course, he spends his time in a college town trying to act like a BMOC.
He sounded like a little girl when he yelled for help.
@heyrangoon actually i got the idea from a mainstream press photog who was assaulted by ATF agents once. I remember thinking when I saw the video....that I would not have the presence of mind to yell for help as he did.
Trolls are welcome on the RR btw especially if in state so stick around and stir pot.
@RidleyReport I'm sorry for what happened to you Mr. Ridley. I've seen your other videos where you interact with police and I was surprised they arrested you when you were actively trying to leave the premises. Was the chanting a sort of psychological defense mechanism due to the shock of being arrested? I felt really bad for you when you began the song.
Don't let the trolls bring you down. It's easy to pass judgement on someone when they have never felt the sting of police misconduct.
@RidleyReport You admitted that you walked off 'real slow'...you deliberately provoked the cops into throwing your narrow ass in jail. You're nothing than a middle aged attention whore and if anyone can't see that this whole scene was manufactured then they are just the type of idiots your tiny ego needs to survive. Face it, if a real rights violation came along you'd run like a little girl.
This isn't the airport, fool. This is a search for weapons and contraband in the process of an arrest.
@RidleyReport I'm willing to bet you are a "truther" aren't you? You taunted people with guns, you are an idiot, if you had just walked away when they asked instead of acting like a tough 5 year old, you wouldn't have been arrested. Hat's off to the cops, absolutely correct, as most would have lacked the restraint that they showed. You acted like a child, they acted like professional men. Way to prove which side is right, the one kicking and screaming, or the calm collected one.
@RidleyReport@heyrangoon I have to say. I am ALL FOR OPEN CARRY and personal freedoms. HOWEVER, idiots like this are the reason the extreme left wins when they seek out moronic gun laws. The police were doing thier jobs, acting proffesionally, and clearly he was not cooperating with them. When they stop me and ask for ID or something, I give it to them with no problem at all because I have nothing to hide. I don't understand the need to be uncooperative, especially when there is no need.
@remyllebeau77 it's not false arrest if you are not obeying a request from a police officer. You do realize that you can always just call the State Police, they do have juridiction over the city or town police, and they will sort it out. I've seen it done a few times...sometimes it worked, other times it didn't.
@InsanewithPain666 "Law enforcers" not cops order enforcers. It was false arrest because he was obeying the request to leave by the nameless employee or owner (maybe) and also the cops.
@RidleyReport I have to say I see no trolling there. That was a very good description of what happened in the video. If you are going to act like an immature prick who thinks he can be on private property even when asked to leave, and then told to leave, then you get what you deserve. And then yelling like a little girl because he is getting arrested after not doing what was asked of him and in general just acting like a drunken frat-boy, trying to act tough in-front of his girlfriend.
@wangtangkiki It doesn't matter if he was leaving. He still committed the crime of trespassing. If anything, the cops were being decent and giving him the chance to leave. They could have arrested him at any point in this video.
@Wuhhhht Sorry dude, but that's wrong. The hotel is clearly accessible to the public, he has full right to enter public areas of commercial property until otherwise requested to leave by the property owner. Likewise, even a property owner cannot forcefully remove trespassers unless a crime has been committed (this applies to bouncers too, FYI). C'mon man, don't fall in with the bootlickers!
@heyrangoon they didn't act professionally at all. They acted like bullies. If you want to be a sheep be a sheep. But let those protecting their rights to have some peace.
@heyrangoon i don't think that arresting a man for committing no crime and already obeying an order to leave the property is considered professional behaviour
If you walked off my property in such a manner I'd think you were a huge douche. Try to keep in mind their private property rights as well as your own.
But he can make sure that they all go through stiff training on the constitution! GET RID OF THE PATRIOT ACT! And if the the officers don't want to abide by the law they swore to uphold & protect they can find a new job! Peace!
@skeptikal911 The Constitution is just a piece of paper. If you give anyone the role of a cop - which gives them a huge amount of power over others - they will ultimately abuse it.
Are you against police all together? Or just police who don't abide by the US constitution? Or any police which don't work for you?
@juliaisafilmbuff123 No, we need police! But we need police that are civil & don't let authority go to their heads! If they have shown that they can't handle the extra power without abusing it they must be replaced! With someone who has shown they can. Not just given a slap on the wrist & returned back to the beat.
@skeptikal: Even Ron Paul doesn't believe that 9.11 was an inside job, you douche! However that white supremacist shill, Ron Paul, will NEVER be President!
@SpookeyR Talking shit online (Tough guy) I bet you would bitch up if confronted in person!
Yes indeed Dr. Ron Paul 2012!! Fuck all of you Helen Keller Dumb,Deaf & blind mother fuckers Dr. Paul is the only one with the balls to speak the truth to you idiots!
Paul never became POTUS, in all of the Presidential elections that he has tried to run going back to at least '88, bc when the likely voters actually looked at him, his political platform, what he wants to protect & what he wants to abolish, specifically in regards to the federal gov't, they realized that he is a bat-shit-crazy, senile, old fool who is to developmentally stunted to sell lemonade on a sidewalk stand, let alone be POTUS. So, those voters either voted for ...
In some detail, Ron Paul is a RINO!! But, he is not a liberal as some conservatives who don't like him have fear mongered. He is a "Dixiecrat"; his wanton desire to abolish at least half of the federal gov't and most federal laws is an extension of his believe that the South was right during the American Civil War & that Abraham Lincoln was a racist, money-grabber, totalitarianist, who wanted to send all the blacks back to Africa!
@skeptikal: However, at this point the reason that Ron Paul will never be President is bc of a very specific reality that is very important that is hardly ever talked about...
Death.
Ron Paul is 75 years old! He's going to be dead soon!! So, I feel obliged to ask; how will you behave, what will your reaction be when this senile old fool is chewing on worms in his grave??
@skeptikal: (He has stated many times, in interviews, etc., his opinions on the Civil War and about Lincoln. This correlates with his views on "Hate White Day" and as well as his homophobia and anti-semitism! Your implied anti-semitism is also very interesting...)
Please, do tell, why are you such a bitch?! When I question the integrity of your messiah you go off with an ad hominem attack on me bc, you just can't wrap your small brain around the reality that he will NEVER be President, hmm?!?
Given this video, I doubt the state will be able to meet their burden that Mr. Ridley was not leaving the premises after he was asked to do so. And given the arresting officer's demeanor on the video, there may be some merit to Mr. Ridley's assault claim.
@quaffly I will protect my own property with a shot gun and I would imagine that that kind of protection may have had something to do the the vice pres. being there
You guys want to talk about rights of others what about the hotels right not to want him there if the guy was on my property and I wanted him to leave I would want him to leave now in a normal way as like walking forward just leave not sticking up for the cops here but my gosh people when someone ask you to leave and they have that right what makes you think your right to be there is more important than there right not to want you there there is a time to stand for your rights this was not one
@rumpelstillskin65 He was trying to leave, are you blind? He was asked to leave by a nameless person who he could only guess was an employee not even the owner or manager! He was then placed under false arrest (a criminal act) by the very people who should be stopping criminals.
I like how at 6 minutes the cop asks "you have any needles im going to stab myself with?". Well gee mister if you didnt go around putting your hands on other people you might not have to worry about that.
What was the deal with ordering Dave away? And now that the found his car they have proof he was walking to it, so they have no proof of guilt. Not that staying is morally wrong. A nicer cop would have escorted Dave to his car, not saying Dave would like that but... those jerks think they are gods.
Here's another BS mass arrest at the Jefferson Memorial for light dancing, and in one case a couple was arrested for showing public sign of affection. You wouldn't believe it if you didn't see it happening before your eyes. The top federal goon leading the charge could not cite the law which prohibitted light dancing and public displays of affection. I'm guessing that's because there isn't one!
This idiot drew peace officers from their duty of protecting the vice president. Brilliant! When you are asked to leave by staff on private property you must leave immediately. You are trespassing, you have no right to be there under this countries laws nor any other countries laws.
@stesta5074 What the hell , if they said run would he be required to. He did not "DRAW" them away they persued him AFTER he walked off. Yes he walked backwards, hell I wouldn't turn my back on them either. Some of ya'll are numbnuts, just go ahead and get your RFID implanted in your hand and be good little sheeple. As for people like Dave he personifies a true American. DON'T TREAD ON ME EITHER
HE WAS LEAVING! What the hell don't you get about this?
1) He tried to get some interviews.
2) He was told to leave.
3) He started leaving.
4) Police harass him as he is leaving because they don't like "how" he was leaving.
5) Police arrest him WHILE HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF LEAVING.
Do you think that he was NOT in the process of leaving DESPITE the camera clearly showing that he is, and despite the conversation indicating that the cops had no evidence he wasn't?
For what? Not being obedient? What country do you think this is? What law did he violate, exactly?
Do you even know what a Republic is? Do you honestly think the hotel owners are going to press charges against this man for trespassing? Anybody who understands the law understand that these cops were just harassing Ridley.
However, people like YOU think that the law is when you do whatever the men in blue costumes tell you to do. You see no problem with this, do you?
@hydroponichybrid If you think behaving in an orderly fashion makes you a slave then I guess that makes most of us sane, decent, intelligent people "slaves."
@Socrates0ne that's not how I saw it At all. I saw somebody antagonizing the cops, and acting like a fool. Ridley got what he asked for by not complying with the order when told to. It's up to the prop owner to press charges.
"not complying"? How was he "not complying"? By complying? The cops told him to leave, and he left. It was only when he was deep into the parking lot, FAR AWAY from the building (and where anyone could see) that the cops decided to harass and arrest him.
@socrates0ne The cops told him to leave the PRIVATE property, then he made a show out of it. Check it out at :55 you can see ridley Side-stepping instead of making an active attempt to leave. The cop told him to turn around, and get off the property, "now". Instead Ridley pushed the cops buttons, and got a
They said leave, he said ok and was leaving. The nazi police escalated this event, and guess what, he will win in court !

MrPsterling2008 6 months ago
@MrPsterling2008 It's more about deliberately not allowing the police to be bullies. It doesn't always happen, but it happens far more often than it should and it's wrong. But yeah, the singing and screaming at the end of the episode kind of makes him seem crazy, which is counterproductive.

If you ask somebody to leave your property i think there's a time limit to how long they can take to leave, especially when they appear to be going slowly just to take the piss. if i told some dude to leave my house i wouldn't accept him imitating a snail on his way out for the next 2 hours as he leaves.
Darklordabc 6 months ago
@Darklordabc The whole video including his departure and arrest is within 7 minutes so your 2 hour snail analogy is a little outlandish. On he other hand this cops seems to have anger management issues he's probably use to telling his wife to jump and she asks ,how high? That assumptions not much of a stretch from the way I see him acting.

@Darklordabc and yet it wasn't 2 hours for Ridley it was barely even 3 minutes.

I truly do not understand who these protesters think they are. Instead of trying to harass people for doing their jobs, they should go out and get a job! You dont see the Nashua PD coming to their dwelling or hang-out spot and harassing him. Get a life.
jad7654 7 months ago
@jad7654 He was not there to protest. Don't you know anything about Ridley?
The cops were harassing him not the other way around and in the end they did a illegal or "false" arrest against Ridley.
remyllebeau77 5 months ago
I don't get it. You were arrested for trespassing? You were leaving, but you were being intentionally antagonistic to the police. What was the purpose of your protest and your actions? You didn't even make a political statement or anything. You baited and irritated the police. I don't get it.
KoyoteeLaughter1 7 months ago
@KoyoteeLaughter1 He wasn't there to protest he was there to be a videographer\private press agent.
He wasn't trying to be antagonistic that is just status quo for people who like Ridley are used to dealing with criminal / bad cops like these in the video. However I think you are right in that if Ridley had kept his mouth shut then the cops wouldn't have gotten pissed off and done the false arrest. He doesn't even make many statements (until later) and mostly just asks questions.

Good work documenting what is the case and what is not the case; good work documenting certain facts in this matter, as they relate to the facts, unrecorded, unfortunately, of other similar instances: of what is plainly a wrongful arrest, a thuggish bet against all justice and reason, a team-building exercise in strong-arming.

brandonX2132 9 months ago
Dear RR, I support your cause, and I support of what you are doing, because you are defending constitution and want to educate the citizens of how to behave during the police encounter. However, you failed on this one my friend, because they told you to leave multiple times, and you were walking very slowly and taking your time. You were on the private property, and when you are told to leave, you leave, you dont sit around and video taping for a full 7 minutes. Thats to me not leaving.
coolasshole23 9 months ago
@coolasshole23 Absurd, RR was indeed leaving and at more than enough speed.
Those cops did an illegal arrest (false arrest) end of story.
remyllebeau77 9 months ago
@remyllebeau77 he was leaving, but he was video taping, which it made him walk slower. When you are told to leave, you leave immediately. He was video taping and commenting, which he was not in a hurry to leave. You are wrong on this one my friend.
coolasshole23 8 months ago
@coolasshole23 No sir, it was a false arrest.
Show me the law that says what speed RR should have been going.

coolasshole23 8 months ago
@coolasshole23 Last I heard he was pressing charges or talking to a lawyer but I don't know if RR decided to drop it and even if he did that doesn't mean he doesn't have a case.
Show me the law that says what speed RR should have been going.
remyllebeau77 8 months ago
@remyllebeau77 drop the speed issue bro, we are talking abut leaving, and it did not seem to be RR's priority. He was video taping and commenting on the situation. He was taking his time, if he would have left quickly, that would have never happened. Here are the results, he got charged, jailed, and his car towed. Is that worth it to you?
coolasshole23 8 months ago
@coolasshole23 You tell me to drop the "speed issue" at the same time that you say
"if he would have left quickly, that would have never happened" Double standard much?
Not only was he already in the parking lot but he was out of sight of the officers. THEY CAME AFTER HIM!
RR was arrested because he verbally stood up to their BS and unlawful questions. Why are you telling me the results like I don't know them? Of course it turned out bad for him, false arrest does that.
remyllebeau77 7 months ago
@coolasshole23 You know you can't show me any law and therefore have no basis for your argument just like those police had no lawful basis for the arrest.
remyllebeau77 7 months ago
@remyllebeau77 He was on a private property, what dont you get? you have to leave when you been told to leave. He was leaving, but it was not his immediate priority. When he wins the case, you come back and talk to me. If he gets the charges, then you come back and talk to me.
coolasshole23 7 months ago
@coolasshole23 Cases do not determine law, law should determine cases but that is not always what happens. How about you come back and talk to me when you have a law to back up your argument.
remyllebeau77 7 months ago
@remyllebeau77 I already said it to you, he was trespassing. I rest my case.
coolasshole23 7 months ago
@coolasshole23 No trespassing law is actionable immediately upon giving notice that someone is no longer welcome at a public event because nobody would have time to leave just like they didn't let Ridley leave. That is absurd. I watched the vid again to see how much time RR had and it was 2 min 40secs between the time of being told to leave and them coming to arrest him, give or take 5-10secs. Are you really trying to argue that 2min and 40 secs is trespassing? You are out of your mind.
remyllebeau77 7 months ago
@remyllebeau77 ok you made a good point and a bad point. Lets start with the good one shall we? ok yes it was a public event, so you cant discriminate of who can come in and who cant. If Ridley cant come in, then no one should be allowed at all. Ok, the bad argument you made is that as soon as you step your foot on the property, you are technically trespassing. it does not matter if it was for 2:40, or 1 second, you step your foot on it property you are trespassing. we agree on something here?
coolasshole23 7 months ago
@coolasshole23 I am sorry, I can not agree with "as soon as you step your foot on the property, you are technically trespassing." that only applies to a non-public event on private property.
The very term "trespassing" implies being unwanted and / or uninvited. That is not possible for a public event until the owner of the property removes consent and in Ridley's case it wasn't even the owner, just a nameless employee who Ridley suspects was told to do that by police. (Another immoral act.)
remyllebeau77 7 months ago
@remyllebeau77 ok we got a couple of things here. Yes that law does not imply if it was on the public event. However, the owner of the property could have informed the police officers to ask Ridley to leave. If that is not the case, Ridley maybe did something earlier that could have caused one of the people to initiate a complaint against him. The police officer have a right to ask you to leave, if you were being disruptive, or any other reasons if you caused some kind of disturbance.
coolasshole23 7 months ago
@coolasshole23 Yeah, God forbid some non-mainstream reporter starts walking around asking questions! We can't have that in our free society. Yes, I am sure that there was plenty of Dbag demoncrats there that would have been (or were) happy to complain about Ridley. I still question the legality of such actions. Can we really claim to be in a free society if we are reduced to complaining to or calling the cops every time someone who doesn't agree shows up to "our" public meeting?
remyllebeau77 7 months ago
@remyllebeau77 dont blame it on the democrats, it could be a republican initiating the same complaint. We are talking about laws here. Police have a history of escalating the situation instead of deescalating it. Police follow up on the complaints, however, they lie most of the time in order to arrest people. However, the judge most likely will find Ridley Guilty for trespassing and he was told to leave. RR got his car towed, jailed, fined, and has to go to court, is this worth it to you?
coolasshole23 7 months ago
@coolasshole23 "dont blame it on the democrats," ? You do know this was a Biden meeting right?
I think it's mostly Demoncrats that go to see him speak. Why do you keep asking if it was worth it to me? It didn't happen to me it happened to Ridley, so you would really have to ask him if it was worth it. However, if it did happen to me I would probably not think that it was worth it. On the other hand, I doubt I would ever be in the same position.

remyllebeau77 5 months ago
@coolasshole23 Okay, I live in Texas, so we have a tradition of not being messed with, although the Fed Gov is pushing us right now. However, NH if I remember is an OPEN CARRY state. So, I suggest that Ridley - and everyone else, for that matter - wear a sidearm to events. If enough people do this in a group, then the "law enforcement" (not peace officers any longer) would think twice before they mess with people and violate their Constitutional rights.
willhahn 9 months ago
@willhahn I agree with you. Also the state of Texas almost passed the "no groping law" it was passed in the senate, but one guy decided to get the federal government involved, and threatened that there will be no law zone in Texas if the law passes. However my dear friend that is a separate issue, we are talking about ridley here, do you think he mishandled the situation?

@RidleyReport I'm sorry for what happened to you Mr. Ridley. @RidleyReport @heyrangoon I have to say. I don't understand the need to be uncooperative, especially when there is no need.

remyllebeau77 9 months ago
@remyllebeau77 it's not false arrest if you are not obeying a request from a police officer. You do realize that you can always just call the State Police, they do have juridiction over the city or town police, and they will sort it out. I've seen it done a few times...sometimes it worked, other times it didn't.
InsanewithPain666 9 months ago

If you are going to act like an immature prick who thinks he can be on private property even when asked to leave, and then told to leave, then you get what you deserve. And then yelling like a little girl because he is getting arrested after not doing what was asked of him and in general just acting like a drunken frat-boy, trying to act tough in-front of his girlfriend.

How many free staters have changed their views on private property after watching this video?
I, for one, do not think it's legit for some hotel boss to force people off the property he doesn't use.

@juliaisafilmbuff123 You could have stopped at "I, for one, do not think".

@heyrangoon Elaborate, please.

"you must leave"
HE WAS LEAVING! What the hell don't you get about this?
1) He tried to get some interviews.
2) He was told to leave.
3) He started leaving.
4) Police harass him as he is leaving because they don't like "how" he was leaving.
5) Police arrest him WHILE HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF LEAVING.
Do you think that he was NOT in the process of leaving DESPITE the camera clearly showing that he is, and despite the conversation indicating that the cops had no evidence he wasn't?

@stesta5074

@stesta5074 <<<< This guy must be a cop. All of his activity he is watching anti cop videos, and saying how good cops are in the comments.

@hydroponichybrid If you think behaving in an orderly fashion makes you a slave then I guess that makes most of us sane, decent, intelligent people "slaves."
notthecheatr 9 months ago
@Socrates0ne that's not how I saw it At all. I saw somebody antagonizing the cops, and acting like a fool. Ridley got what he asked for by not complying with the order when told to. It's up to the prop owner to press charges.
nonindividualist 9 months ago
@nonindividualist
"not complying"? How was he "not complying"? By complying? The cops told him to leave, and he left. It was only when he was deep into the parking lot, FAR AWAY from the building (and where anyone could see) that the cops decided to harass and arrest him.
socrates0ne 9 months ago
@socrates0ne The cops told him to leave the PRIVATE property, then he made a show out of it. Check it out at :55 you can see ridley Side-stepping instead of making an active attempt to leave. The cop told him to turn around, and get off the property, "now". Instead Ridley pushed the cops buttons, and got a
