He was her best friend since the beginning, always making friendly jokes with her, and suddenly he choose to kill her because some dark guy who killed his father tell him that kill peoples and leave the toilet without flushing is awesome. That indeed make no sense for me.
@DGMRuadeil I agree, and the video seems to be partially simply re-used from the Light vid. Except for Boc and Jan in the beginning and Kyle's evil voice. This is the only Dark side ending that makes no sense to me.
@DGMRuadeil Maw was taunting Kyle about his fathers death and in a moment of weakness, he was overcome by his thirst for vengeance. Jerec knew that Kyle was becoming a threat and decided to take this opportunity to make "recruit" him since at this point he is walking on the edge and it will only take a small push in the right or wrong direction. However instead of joining Jerec, Kyle is so overcome by vengeance that he decided to take it all for himself and kill anyone who stands in his way.
AM i the only one that sees the flaw in that a tiny runway that breaks so easily is holding up that a several thousand tonne transport ship? and the second it blows up the ship goes? what teh f...
@flushyoudowntheloo this a real star wars game, to this every day it's still concidered a great game. because the light saber does real damage as does jedi academy.
other star wars games have never matched the saber gameplau look at the force unleashed, it's like using a baseball bat of energy.
also this is the only game where real actors were used, this was almost a movie but there would be to much to explane to have this made into a movie.

Then FU would be that much better especially considering the rushed and incomplete story that game had. I don't have it but I know enough to confidently say that.
@Jaser200 gamel play wise kotor was a dice game, damage was based of stats and a game engine dice that was rolled with every attack.
the force unleash is a terrible game, it takes like 3-4 hit with a lightsaber to kill something. jedi academy and dark forces II are the only games that sabers do actual damage namley cutting.
SW games to day are getting worse because makers want them on the shelfs so they can make money faster, dark forces II and jedi academy possibly the best ever made

He didn't kill Luke even though the Emperor suggested it. He killed the Emperor and told Luke that he was redeemed. Now during TFU he SHOULD have been slowly consumed by the darkness of what had and was transpiring. He was conflicted but loyal and evil enough to do what he did. Now, that was never conveyed. So, I say EPIC FAIL LUCASARTS!

I just finished this game as evil (I shot everyone and I mean EVERYONE, including civilians like some fucking terminator) by accident and I must say the ending was so sad. Kyle could have been a bit more badass with some heavy metal playing in the background when I beat the final boss, but noooo.
Anyways now I'm here to see what the good guys get if they play nice since I'm too fat to play the game twice.
you know what really bugs me it allows you to be evil but in the end the light side is canon for the sequal why can't they make you have a choice to start out evil or good in outkast it kind of defeats the purpose of haveing choice if you know what I mean
You know, in Force Unleashed, there's a dark side ending where you become the new Darth Vader. Now, they're making a sequel about what would happen if you chose the dark ending, since if you chose the light ending, you die. But the light ending is canon.

Although Kotor went boldly with keeping the party members, but the real problem is that all star wars games nowadays have been propelled by JKs success and thus want to be more like it. Even down the the light side dark side ending which is pointless because LA doesn't have the balls to do a canon dark side ending.

The books also clear up any questions the movies leave you having....the movies sucked. The books kick ass and make all 6 star wars movies look pretty dull.

I suggest starting with Star Wars: Darth Bane "Path of Destruction". To understand the way in which one becomes sith, it is the the book that I found more informative.
The movies are one part BTW..it's the books you have to read...the books give you more detail as to why Anakin killed the kids....palpatine needed him to never be forgiven and to be hated or he would never truly be stuck under palpatines thumb.
i thought it was clear that anakin turned so he can unlock the power to save padme from dying and killed all those jedis because of being brinwashed by palpatine. isn't that why?
Jan represented his connection to the light side. Like Darth Caedus, he had extinguish that which made him noble. His journey to the dark side, like all who fall to the dark side required a sacrifice. Jan was his, the younglings' and Padme was Anakin's, and Mara Jade was Jacen Solo's (Darth Caedus).
It's a sacrifice a sith must make in order to give in completely to the dark side. If, for example, you were working to become a disciple of he dark side, it wouldn't really work if you had a wife constantly around. You'd have to kill them or they would always be involved in your life.
Going to the dark side is supposed to mean that you let your emotions rule you and give in to anger and hatred. Why would he be angry at Jan? If I were in his position and giving in to the dark side, I'd take my anger out on Jerec and his cronies.
I'm not saying that the dark side wouldn't make you turn on friends, but there has to be some kind of provocation for it to happen. Jan hadn't given him any, although Jerec gave him plenty.
The Sith only came to Korriban at the first Sith vs republic war, and made it their base. And the Sith died ago thousands of ages before the events of SW123. ;) They are just dark jedi noobs claiming to be Sith.
They did not died . the sith left eh galaxy to the unknow regions , in kotor 2 is stated that Revan left the republic to search for an ancient threaht ( the true sith ) . I think the true sith will make a comeback in The old republic mmporg that is under devolepment by bioware :P
do your homework. Sidious WAS a sith trained by Darth Plagueis. And the Sith was first a species, yes, native to Ziost and Korriban who where natural Force-sensitive. then at some time there was a group of fallen jedi who landed on Korriban, and they learned from eachother,got followers the species was thinned and vola! al the "evil" force users vas from then on sith.
All jedi who fell to the dark side should be considered dark jedi, not real sith. The dark jedi only follow the same sith religion as the true sith but they are really just fallen jedi who reject their code.
I agree. True sith are trained into being from the very beginning. Dark Jedi are just weaklings that couldn't bare the jedi code.
There are exceptions when Jedi became very close to a true sith (like Revan) or even surpassed them, but most people who "fall" are weak minded and short lived. The Dark Side is more then just going around and killing people in hatred.
Just to inflame a two week old argument, Mace Windu almost (and lets face it, without Anakin busting in, he would've) killed Palpatine on the spot. So the question you've really gotta ask yourself is; Is Kyle Katarn as good as Mace Windu?

And I know Mace had that unique lightsaber fighting style, but he was never a match for Sidious. The Sith always fight with an advantage on their hand, they are more deeper into the dark side, more fiercer than Dark Jedi who are limited both in the Force and in lightsaber combat.
Besides, Jerec used Form II, and Kyle was probably using his physical advantage(a.k.a. strength) to beat him.Much like Anakin beat Dooku with raw blows.
Sidious threw his fight with Mace? I don't believe that for a second. Emotion, passion, arrogance, whatever you want to call it, is always the downfall of the Sith and it almost cost Sidious his life.
I don't know....I like to think they were about even, but the movie left it way too open ended to have a clear victor. Maybe he could have killed Sidious had Anakin never appeared or vice versa. Sidious sensed Anakin coming, and being the master manipulator that he is, purposely put himself in a position that would make Anakin have to decide his fate. It wasn't arrogance/whatever...it was strategy. That's just my opinion however.

Are you serious? Malak was NOT tyhe better duelist. Hell no. Even lucasarts and in kotor2 said that revan's lightsaber skills were almost unmatched. Revan was a MUCH better duelist than malak. And if your strong you can protect yourself against force based attacks. Kyle can, so can malak. Look at obiwan against counts lightning. and mace blocked and DEFLECTED palps lightning back at him in ep3. so dont give me that bullshit.

Yeah, but you have to remember, he was fighting a member of the Chosen One's family. Of course he's going to have some trouble seeing how Darth Vader's blood doesn't run through his veins. Well that may be true but some of the ancient sith lords saber skills rivald that of revans. The exile for example saber skills were probably equal to revans BUT revan had more power force wise than the exile making him stronger than her.

@Jaser200 aparently TFU is using cloning to bring bakc starkiller a clip of gamplay shows vader examining a room of starkillers in bacta tubes.
but vader was more of ping pong character, just made no sence. even to this day because of TFU it's hard to say now where vader was light or dark.
the whole story of TFU 1 & 2 is just confusing even for die hard gamers and SW fans.

I just finished this game as evil (I shot everyone and I mean EVERYONE, including civilians like some fucking terminator) by accident and I must say the ending was so sad. Kyle could have been a bit more badass with some heavy metal playing in the background when I beat the final boss, but noooo.
Anyways now I'm here to see what the good guys get if they play nice since I'm too fat to play the game twice.

You know, in Force Unleashed, there's a dark side ending where you become the new Darth Vader. Now, they're making a sequel about what would happen if you chose the dark ending, since if you chose the light ending, you die. But the light ending is canon.

Although Kotor went boldly with keeping the party members, but the real problem is that all star wars games nowadays have been propelled by JKs success and thus want to be more like it. Even down the the light side dark side ending which is pointless because LA doesn't have the balls to do a canon dark side ending.

I suggest starting with Star Wars: Darth Bane "Path of Destruction". To understand the way in which one becomes sith, it is the the book that I found more informative.

The movies are one part BTW..it's the books you have to read...the books give you more detail as to why Anakin killed the kids....palpatine needed him to never be forgiven and to be hated or he would never truly be stuck under palpatines thumb.

Jan represented his connection to the light side. Like Darth Caedus, he had extinguish that which made him noble. His journey to the dark side, like all who fall to the dark side required a sacrifice. Jan was his, the younglings' and Padme was Anakin's, and Mara Jade was Jacen Solo's (Darth Caedus).

It's a sacrifice a sith must make in order to give in completely to the dark side. If, for example, you were working to become a disciple of he dark side, it wouldn't really work if you had a wife constantly around. You'd have to kill them or they would always be involved in your life.

I never understood why he'd kill Jan either.
Going to the dark side is supposed to mean that you let your emotions rule you and give in to anger and hatred. Why would he be angry at Jan? If I were in his position and giving in to the dark side, I'd take my anger out on Jerec and his cronies.
I'm not saying that the dark side wouldn't make you turn on friends, but there has to be some kind of provocation for it to happen. Jan hadn't given him any, although Jerec gave him plenty.

The Sith only came to Korriban at the first Sith vs republic war, and made it their base. And the Sith died ago thousands of ages before the events of SW123. ;) They are just dark jedi noobs claiming to be Sith.

They did not died . the sith left eh galaxy to the unknow regions , in kotor 2 is stated that Revan left the republic to search for an ancient threaht ( the true sith ) . I think the true sith will make a comeback in The old republic mmporg that is under devolepment by bioware :P

do your homework. Sidious WAS a sith trained by Darth Plagueis. And the Sith was first a species, yes, native to Ziost and Korriban who where natural Force-sensitive. then at some time there was a group of fallen jedi who landed on Korriban, and they learned from eachother,got followers the species was thinned and vola! al the "evil" force users vas from then on sith.

All jedi who fell to the dark side should be considered dark jedi, not real sith. The dark jedi only follow the same sith religion as the true sith but they are really just fallen jedi who reject their code.

I agree. True sith are trained into being from the very beginning. Dark Jedi are just weaklings that couldn't bare the jedi code.
There are exceptions when Jedi became very close to a true sith (like Revan) or even surpassed them, but most people who "fall" are weak minded and short lived. The Dark Side is more then just going around and killing people in hatred.

Just to inflame a two week old argument, Mace Windu almost (and lets face it, without Anakin busting in, he would've) killed Palpatine on the spot. So the question you've really gotta ask yourself is; Is Kyle Katarn as good as Mace Windu?

Sidious purposely threw the fight if you ask me. He was playing everyone for a fool. Look at his fight with Yoda, he went all out in that, yet couldn't beat Mace? And I know Mace had that unique lightsaber fighting style, but he was never a match for Sidious. I'd say Kyle could possibly beat him though, he did fight Jerec who used the power of the Valley, and that had to have made him stronger than Sidious

Dark Jedi are no(freaking) match for Sith.
If Kyle was confronting 7 Sith, he would have lost, you gotta agree.
The Sith always fight with an advantage on their hand, they are more deeper into the dark side, more fiercer than Dark Jedi who are limited both in the Force and in lightsaber combat.
Besides, Jerec used Form II, and Kyle was probably using his physical advantage(a.k.a. strength) to beat him.Much like Anakin beat Dooku with raw blows.

I don't know....I like to think they were about even, but the movie left it way too open ended to have a clear victor. Maybe he could have killed Sidious had Anakin never appeared or vice versa. Sidious sensed Anakin coming, and being the master manipulator that he is, purposely put himself in a position that would make Anakin have to decide his fate. It wasn't arrogance/whatever...it was strategy. That's just my opinion however.

It wasn't Sidious calling Anakin. Skywalker's thoughts of saving Padme drove him to go. Re: the saber battle, Sidious didn't "all of sudden" become weak. His fight with Windu wasn't that brief.

I see. But this ending isnt part of star wars story, so it doesnt affect sw world. I like that in KOTOR 1 and 2, there isnt a canon ending for KOTOR. When you play KOTOR II, you decide how first part ended.

Lucas stated that every SW story, game, book series will end with the light side of the Force.For example, Revan is redeemed, the Jedi Exile has taken the light side path, Vader loses to his son, Jacen is killed by his twin sister Jaina and so on.
If you don't think I'm right, check the wookieepedia to be sure.

Are you serious? Malak was NOT tyhe better duelist. Hell no. Even lucasarts and in kotor2 said that revan's lightsaber skills were almost unmatched. Revan was a MUCH better duelist than malak. And if your strong you can protect yourself against force based attacks. Kyle can, so can malak. Look at obiwan against counts lightning. and mace blocked and DEFLECTED palps lightning back at him in ep3. so dont give me that bullshit.

As well as kyle was mostly trying to protet all the other jedi around him that were getting there asses kicked AND jacen was LOSING against kyle so he did the cheap move of force pulling a dam speeder into kyles back. If he didnt do that and if kyle was fighting him 1 on 1 kyle would of kicked his ass.

Yeah, but you have to remember, he was fighting a member of the Chosen One's family. Of course he's going to have some trouble seeing how Darth Vader's blood doesn't run through his veins. Kyle's no slouch though in the Force. You have to admit killing 7 Dark Jedi (one getting the power of a god) with next to no training in the Force or a saber is pretty freaking badass. That's power.

Well that may be true but some of the ancient sith lords saber skills rivald that of revans. The exile for example saber skills were probably equal to revans BUT revan had more power force wise than the exile making him stronger than her.
