No matter the arguments between tractor and pusher configurations regarding efficiency and safety, the pushers generally look sexier and more modern.
Rather than a "cut and shut" Cessna, a LW with the lines of a P-51 or sports monoplane is going to achieve a better response from the general aviation crowd.

I agree 100% re. side by side LW-5 or even a 3-4 seater based off of a Piper Pa-20 Pacer! Also having the capabilities for floats!

This a great video record of an amazing little plane and its pilot, who together made so many record journeys.
A great pity though, that we had to wait six and a half minutes to see the pilot.
For those who don't know, Andy is the good looking bloke on the right.
