I'm emo, and I do listen to Three Days Grace, I agree though, they not emo, they're to main-stream.
Emo songs are more like Caught In A Flood by I Hate Myself. Calling mainstream bands emo is a big poser move.

broadcasting that your emo on a mainstream band is just a big poser move. If you were truly emo, you wouldn't even be on here. you'd be off by yourself listening to your music, not three days grace. I dont think you were raised with enough attention, and now you have to look for it in places that ppl won/t care much, even though you think they might. Face it, no body cares if you hate your life. its not all poor you.

im going to say this one time, and please, read it very carefully: Three Days Grace are NOT emo... i repeat, Three Days Grace are NOT emo... little kids, they are post-grunge, and alternative metal. even though they have song where they say they like pain, pain is used as a metaphore... so please, stop idolizing them as emo symbols, cause thats the last thing they are.
