  • Great job!

  • What keys is your lovely box?

  • @bikejen my box is a G/C with the traditional half row above. It is lovely in sight, sound, and touch. Thanks, Gary

  • Nice!

  • Nice tune :)

  • It's not a waltze but a bourree in 3, which has a very specific dance associated with it, two lines facing each other. It comes from the Massif Central region of France. I've heard many different versions of this, including a blindingly fast one from 1930 something.

  • really great ^^

  • Thanks!

  • It's very beautiful. It's a veritable "appeal" in the dance ! Bravo.

  • Very good tune.

I've been looking in to getting a Pastourelle, just wondering: how heavy is it?

  • Thanks! I love my box. This is an older Pastourelle and I'm told the new one's differ a little, but I've never found it to be too heavy. For a box with three reed banks on both sides, it's very comfortable.
