@yoboss1049 I do this kind of artwork, too. It's easier to start with a lighter color for the sketch because when you open a new layer to create linework, you need to be able to see the black lines.
When I scan my pencil art(on A4 paper) and open it using photoshop it's so small that when it comes to using the pen tool the lines are not smooth. How can I fix this problem? Someone please help. Thank you :)
^^. You need tochange the resolution of the scan or once it is imported into PS you can always jsut press ctrl+Alt+I to adjust the image size, and then when you draw over it, no matter what size the image was before, it should draw with no pixelation.
