If Sasquatch have managed to almost totally avoid human detection then the way that they are depicted in this documentary is obviously not accurate. They aren't lumbering beasts. They must be masters of stealth.
@EjPwned I'm not sure what hair samples you're talking about. Cow hairs don't match any known apes in the world. Not proof of an unknown ape. DNA would unequivocally identify a species as ape and no other known ape. I have heard rumor that DNA has identified a new species that is much closer to man than the previously closest relative the chimpanzee. Chimp DNA is 98.5% the same as human. Our squatch is 99.5% same as human. That makes it closer to man than ape.
@cunnidvd and human dna is 98.5% closer to chimp, that makes us closer to apes. it all depends how you view things, the glass is half empty or half full.
Something interesting i noticed. I watched 2 documentaries on bigfoot, this one and another called In Search Of Bigfoot, both on youtube.
Watch what the guy says from 00:57-01:26 and 01:49 - 02:06. This is WORD FOR WORD exactly what Dr Grover Krantz says during the first 28 seconds of the following documentary:
In Search Of Bigfoot with Leonard Nimoy Part 3 of 3
@Ricogear27 - Agreed - that passage is verbatim. Maybe (probably?) Krantz wouldn't give his consent for his footage to be used for Byrne's film, so they had to get an actor to recite his lines. With just a pinch less conviction than Krantz would have delivered them with!!
Krantz is one of the most interesting characters in this whole saga, this makes me want to go visit his bones at the Smithsonian : )
you dont need to shoot and kill a sasquatch to prove his exsistance, thats what they make tranulizer guns for knock him out take you pictures get your dna blood/tissue/data and then let the poor thing go. simple resort to murdering one.

all we need is DNA. hairs from a nest might do.
cunnidvd 10 months ago
@cunnidvd we've already done that. hair samples were taken and they didn't match any current apes in the world.
