  • You can burn 500 calories by walking 10000 steps. That comes out to walking between 4.5 and 5 miles. That's too far for the average person timewise. Eat a little less and walk a couple of miles. One candy bar has nearly 300 calories.

  • THIS CALCULATION FOR BASAL METABOLIC RATE IS INACURATE!!!! You need to figure out your lean body weight then multiply that by 11. You need skin fold calipers to measure your total body fat. then you subtract your body fat from your total weight to to get your lean body weight! SOME PEOPLE HAVE MORE MUSCLE THEN OTHERS THEYRE SAME AGE AND HEIGHT. THERE FOR THIS CALCULATION METHOD ON THIS VID IS INACURATE! and I am a certified trainer, so I kno what im talking about.

    And if its really unhealthy stuff, you could be putting yourself at risk for certain diseases later in life.

  • I call shinanigans on this. I do next to nothing most days and except for walking and standing on my feet and this thing says I need 1808.2 calories a day to maintain weight but I am known to eat 2 pound lunches that have that 1.7k calories in it and yet I still loose weight.

  • Are you consistently consuming 1808.2 calories a day? I lose weight too even though I on occasion eat much more than my maintenance intake.

  • I follow the 2k caloric intake a day diet put on the nutrition fact sheets on the food I eat and tend to always double the portion size they recommend.
