  • @luv2bellydanz thanks for your comment :D - the tabla solo is one of Amera's drum solos (bellydancer from Australia), called "Afro-Arabe"

  • Really good performer

  • beautifull

what is the name of the first track

    tanks very muhc

  • what is the name of the song? artist and album?

    nice dance!

  • lol thats true i agree yea they are all wonderful instraments lol tabla the meaning itself is indian tabla is an indian word lol but yea your right they are all beautiful nice instraments =) you too=) great job again !

  • lol np!! of course they did lol and i could reconize that very beautiful tabla yea they are diffrent lol what i said was diffrent i meant that indians were the first ones to invent tabla look on wiki and it came to the middle east lol there is something simalar to that like a darbuka that was made in arabia and i could admit that and indians use it=) beautiful dance are you the one dancing lol i love bellydance im a junior amauture but i know some stuff lols great job again!=)

  • heythx for yr comment! it is hard to prove such claims as history is written well enough to know exactly and wiki is not always correct... it is often incorrect as anyone can write info and post it there... but it doesn't matter tablas darbouka duff are all wonderful instruments for dance - have a nice day :D

  • @IshtarBellydancer I was lead to believe that Belly Dancing was started in India, by Snake Charmers, then was introduced through the Gypsy travelers to the Middle East. But having said that, a form of Belly Dancing was already there to do with the Fertilaty Gods and Deities. Then the two dances got combined and now there are many forms. Especially in places like Egypt etc. Probably one of the oldest art forms of dance any where in the world, but still has its roots in the Indian Continent? maybe!

  • @MrNativeDancer Mmm I don't know who told you that, however, the dance was influenced by many influences no doubt through the thousands of years and you can see some tomb paintings from the pharonic times where the shimmy is dipicted clearly. Most of the influence is from Africa, they also do fast hip movements, where as Indian dancing does not have the fast hip dancing in the history, but some pelvic movement in your Kartha classical dance. Nowdays all styles influence each other.

  • @MrNativeDancer you may like to see a video documentary on the Romni Gypsies who travelled down from Northern India spreading much of their dancing as they travelled influencing the foot stomping movement mostly.. this is where Spanish Flamenco got much of their style of foot stomping from...thanks for your interest :D

  • nice song btw! =]

  • thank you :D

  • the tablas were invented by indians check it out!=)

  • I think if you check history seeing as Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon are equally old, they had their own tabla's. The Indian tabla are different to the Middle Eastern ones. Each are beautiful in their own styles

  • an excellant dancer. Her knowledge and love of the dance shows through.

She knows her craft her so well, she is able to squeeze out the technocality of the performance, and to just have fun with it.

an inspiration to all of us dancers.

  • thank you LadyMoondancer for your very generous and lovely comment, it is appreciated :D have a nice day and may it rain lots of sparkly sequins for you lighting up your day !

  • Beautyfull!!!

  • nice :)

  • its alright but sadiee iss wayy better in the drum solos.

  • Sadie's style of tabla solo is very Westernised. My style is more Egyptian. But of course everyone has their preference. I personally don't like the moves to look robotic and mechanical, preferring a 'natural' look to the movement, makes it look easy when it isn't :-)

  • I have watched and admired this video for a while now, and I must say, I never tire of watching it. Very elegant and well done!

  • I loved how you could swith up the rhythm, shake those hips, and liven up the entire stage. The way you performed with the cane and moving to the the beat of the drums could leave anyone awestruck and spellbound....with a several people in need of surgery for their jaws dropping to the floor. Brilliantly executed mi'lady
