  • Thats ashamed that you sold all of that good sound because your muscles are soft. awwwww too bad.

  • but anyway great setup dude!!

  • dude shoudn't the noise gate be before the compressor? cuz your compressor makes less dynamics in your sound, what means quiet things become louder, so your noise gate can let some compressed noise thru that you don't want. if you do it the oposite way it kills the noise first. well that's the way i have connected it in my pedal board i don't know haha if it works great that way too there's no problem at all:D

  • IN FLAMES \m/

  • 3:08=Come Clarity :)

  • 100% gain!

  • sound like a metal hardcore amazingg rackk dude

  • what s the wireless you are using?

  • where do you work man your like rich as hell

  • can you set up a 4 cable method with this unit?

  • those midds are scooped huh? ;) ya need some crunch it sounds too thin but then again if thats the sound ya going for who am i to tell you otherwise ;)

  • OK....

    and Who are you?

Are you in a band someplace?

  • Your distoted tone sounds like a can full of angry bees

  • Digitech 2120! Great! Preamp! I know,I own a Pirahna-JMP-1-GFX-1-. Owned MP-1-Jackson JX-3-Rockmaster. This one Smokes em all!

  • Hey man, you got awesome stuff, i hope you could reply to this question, how does that pedal board you 've got on the floor works?? You conected to your valve guitar system is that it? thanks

  • @damienro0

This pedal is especially for that Preamp,

you connect it with one cable, power and data in one cable.

  • @schehf Dude what's the thing right on the top with the name pyton?

  • HORRRRRRIBLE!!!!!!!

  • sounded good until after the clean setting. also, get a new guitar and ditch the epiphone / gibson. they suck for metal

  • @TangeClown Bullshit

  • @TangeClown Tell that to metallica

  • @Cyanide5151 that being said, metallica is basic metal and btw they use esp

  • @TangeClown and gibson

  • @Cyanide5151 they switched away from gibson after a little bit and went to esp. all of the big metal bands that have used gibson at some point have switched. a7x and disturbed both had gibson on their first albums and now theyre both at schecter

  • your clean sound is really cool, the rest was awfull..

  • what kind of guitar

  • Comment removed

  • lmao . .maybe the couch is screwing up your tone . .but thats a lot of gear for such weaksauce tone . . . sorry to say that, but jeez louise . . .

  • How many spaces is the rack mount?

  • is that just a stock epiphone les paul special? no upgraded pickups?

  • i think the sounds are really nice actually. Building up the sounds on your own can be a pain and has a chance of mistake, but I think the sounds are hella similar to In Flames' sounds. :D

I need myself a rack system... they look so pretty with all of those lights @_@

  • in flames? :O

  • @Takiado ye come clarity

  • REAL GUYS PLAY CABLE !!! ^^

  • Nice try with the In Flames riff but I don't know, something is missing... maybe it is just the shitty cam mic. And you should tune, that Korg is not just to look nice ;)

  • Oh, how much did you pay for your black case with wheels (dont know what its called) without all the stuff in it? Right now I just have my amp and all my pedals on top of it so I want one of those.

  • It's a pretty good setup, I guess. However, I don't rally believe in rackmount stuff; I tend to create all my sounds with individual, analog stompboxes. The only digital effects I use are a Digitech Modeling Pedal, and the delay that's built into my amp. Other than that, it's all analog stuff, man.

  • Tiraspol?

  • FUCK YOU

  • what's the stereo for?? also do you just plug the preamp into the marshall cab??

  • @coldironhands1

the amp can work stereo, so why not.

my marshall cab is also stereo, 2 inputs.

No, the preamp has to be gained by a poweramp, otherwise you don't hear anything

    So preamp, poweramp, cab.

  • how do you edit eq on the digitech? im thinking about getting one

  • @copebj

There is a 7 band eq in every distortion and you can add an 31band eq in the digital path

  • what is the rack? warwick rockcase? thanks in advance!

  • @Jakubris

A no name case, I think.

  • I have an Engl Fireball tube amp, and want some reverb and some effects to it, but dont want to loose the quality of the sound (like digital kind of sound).

Do you think i should get a rack or a pedal?

  • you need some mids in there dude, this sounds like a boss metalzone

  • @otherrandomhero

There are enough mids, it just sounds like that cause it is recorded with the camera.

  • @schehf unacceptable.

  • @otherrandomhero HAHAHA! If that sounds like a Metal Zone, I want whatever Metal Zone you have because mine sounded WAY worse than that...

  • @otherrandomhero - exactly, it may be caused by the digital preamp :) cool rig, lots of possibilities, but somewhat shitty tone. And when you kicked the wah in, it was like -pshshshshfhshshschsfhshshshfhhchshhfhopfffffhshshshs :D

  • Def. You would never cut through trying to play with a band

  • i can get this tone with one pedal overkill man

  • sounds ok .i stick with the ADA thanks!!

  • 50 watts power amp stereo which is mean 100 watts (50 left 50 right) isnt it?

  • @silentboy85 No. It's just 50 watts. Honestly, I still don't know why stereo matters. I think maybe it might be an alternative to tube power or valve power or whatever. Sounds better than solid state I guess.

  • i was told that a system such as this will not sound as good as a pedal.... is dat true? i'm a guitar effects idiot.... :)

  • do you use the gain setting on the poweramp?

  • You sound like Toki from Dethklok.

  • Moin,

    Danke schehf

  • @Headshot1822

AKG WMS 400, nein, der Nachfolger ist 450.

  • Hey nice rack, what is the Py TON at the top? Im thinking of making my own rack but not sure where to start

  • @hazzer23

Just so I can reach the powerswitch, I don't know,

    seemed logical to me.

  • your neighbours must hate you XD

  • Would there be any benefit from running a sonic maximiser with this rig?

  • Hey how do you connect your amp to the rack gear and then how is midi controllers connected?

  • @FullmetalFan500

There is a special midi controller with the digitech, it has power in the cable too.

    Signal path of the rack:

    Wireless, tuner, preamp, poweramp.

  • absolulter supernerd!

  • dude this rig really sounds like fuzzy shit man sorry

  • how much did that all cost

  • Lovely rig man, good sound. Can you comapre the 2120 to GSP1101?? Im going to make same setup but I wanna get Mesa Boogie Poweramp instead of ur engl.

  • I'm going all rack gear soon, is that ENGL amp any good? Awesome stuff man

  • Zuerst einmal: nettes Equip, Schehf ^^

  • I am aware you have sold it. What are are opinion on the ENGL power amp 830/50? I am planning to use 840/50 with my POD X3 live and I would like to get your opinion. Are there any cons or pros you would like to list?

  • @cakire82

It sounds really good, but is heavy like shit.

  • Why did you sell this? it's really dumb....

  • @Emceetem

Because it was way too heavy.

and the digitech preamp has one big disadvantage.

Changing sounds takes too long. Half a second.

  • @schehf yeah, that was the main problem i had with this digitech pedal i recently bought (RP 155). Its a newer one so it sounded great but the half a second delay is too much to handle sometimes....especially live.

  • honestly in my opinion, u dont need ALL that for a good rack. wat u'd need in a good rack would be a...

    power supply

    tuner

wireless system (if u want 1)

and if u wanna put ur amp head in that, go for it. (this is only my opinion)

  • 55 was your rythym channel. What is your lead channel?

  • schehf are you from germany ?

you sound like me when I speak English...^^

  • how long does it take to set that up?

  • you were crazy I would have kept that rig the tone was very good.

  • It was too heavy.

You couldn't use the distorted sound without a hard Gate, so for Solos you had to turn it off,

or it could cut off your tone.

And changing sounds took way too long, half a second.

  • very nice

  • honestly, the main sound was so midscooped and masked by distortion that it was almost impossible to notice that the guitar was out of tune. maybe the camera's mic is not so good. anyway great playing!

  • hey how much does all that cost without the guitar ???

  • 2000 €, I think. It has been a while since I bought it.

I don't own that stuff anymore.

  • i dont like the tone.

  • obviously not enough... because you clearly knew it was In Flames!!!!

  • What's that song you play at 3:09?

  • come clarity by in flames

  • I like the chugging sound more than the lead tone!

  • i noticed that when your explaining the rack every time your hand comes on the screen to point, you quickly snap it back down to your leg rather loudly lol, nice gear my friend

  • nice! Jack Owen of Deicide(formerly in Cannibal Corpse) used that same Digitech 2100 pre-amp for many years.

  • oops - I meant Digitech 2101

  • video game sound!

  • zupah toll xD

  • really cool man, nice clean sound

  • Hi man! The sound of wah, How Can I Do??

  • Hi schehf!

Ich will mir auch eine 840/50 endstufe kaufen. findest du, dass 50 watt reichen bei live gigs? also ich meine, wenn man mal keine stereobox hat..

    gruß

  • Manchmal haette ich schon die groessere gebraucht.

  • aber reichen tuts?

  • Eigentlich schon.

  • hi five for zero clarity

  • sounds like shit

  • so screamer!!!!!

  • So schehf if i am getting a cab do i need to buy i head orrrrrrrrrrr can i just use a pre amp?

  • Only if the preamp has a poweramp as well.

Normally the preamp makes the sound

and the poweramp makes it loud so you can hear it.

  • such a sick set up! how much did all of this cost?? youve got the sound i want, so brutal! reminds me of children of bodom.

  • hes probably a hell of a lot better than you matparkinson

  • What kind of LP is that?

  • special 2 which is like 180 bucks

  • its an epiphone les paul studio

  • is the wireless system good quality? get much interfierence?

  • Nope, I like it very much, perfect sound, and the batteries last a very long time.

ONly when it was broken I got some drop outs.

  • How much did this all cost mate? brilliant set up though.. Im guessing around 4000?

  • Great set up you have there! I'm jealous!

  • What is better that pre amp that you are using or the Digitech GSP1101?

  • I never played the 1101

  • it souns more like toki:D

  • Haha... at like 0:54 seconds, your hand fades out XD

  • hi, Digitech 2120 or Line6 PODX3 PRO, pleaseeee...........

  • lol thats' better than my live set-up is PPG860A Pyle pro amp, First-Act A-200 (emergency amp), and a Behringer Hellbabe HB01 Wah Pedal FZ7 Fuzz pedal and then Epiphone SG guitar, and Celio Stillio Guitar

  • amazing gear man

  • Nice little guitar playin' spot :).

  • hey what guitar are you using because just from looking at it it looks like an epiphone studio black on black is that what it is just asking

  • how do you go about connecting all of that?

  • I connect it one time, then I don't touch it anymore.

Didn't have to connect all on every concert.

  • I have that cab too. great cab. I havent experienced any cut outs though. I run a mesa triple rec. through it.

  • Not the cab is cutting out, it is the amp.

  • amazing tone.

  • hi i have a question i have a randall rh150 g3 plus series amp thats also hooked up to a furman power conditioner and i play through a marshall 1960's slant cab and the problem is, is that when i turn the amp up to loud the cab will cut out and i dont know what to do i just got the head sent to me from randall its brand new i had one of the old rh150 g3's that broke so randall sent me the new plus series and like the old one it cuts out at a certain volume

  • When I turn my amp up more than 70 %, then it cuts out too.

The Randall has no tubes in the poweramp, only in the preamp. Thats why.

  • so theres no way to keep it from doing that? i think it might just be the cab because ive played it through an epiphone 4by12 with 2 eminence and 2 celestion speakers and it didnt cut out. does your marshall cab have stock speakers or something else in them?

  • My marshall cab is all original.

  • well thats stupid to make make an amp that cuts out after a certain louder volume

  • they do that so you dont blow they speakers, or fuck up the head. Its a good idea, unless your rich and can afford a new head and cab whenever you like.

  • Comment removed

  • I don't play a marshall amp. I only use the cab.

  • Do you run right into the head now?

  • I don't own the preamp and poweramp anymore.

I only use my Randall head now.

  • yeah i saw that in the info..

So now you run your guitar with a wireless system conected to the randall.. and use a footswitch to change channel.?

  • Yes, and the tuner in between. And I'll get a Dunlop CryBaby WahWah too.

  • hah nice.. So the footswich came with the randall?

I must say, the new eq looks be alot easier to carry around ?

  • Of course every amp has a switch from clean to distortion.

  • Ok :)

So you're gonna buy the wahwah for solos ?

  • Yep.

  • Really nice! i think newest recordings sound great! good job :D

  • Excellent setup dude! Keep Rockin

  • the price of the rack?

  • I don't know, I bought most of it used.

  • Sounds great. I have a similar setup with the exception of a Peavey Classic 50/50 tube power amp and a Gibson Les Paul Studio, it rocks. Using the tube distortion on the preamp along with a tube power amp adds greater touch sensitivity while playing and power tube distorion that sings with harmonics.

  • oh, ok. Why do you need that?

  • Because all my equipment has a special power connector to the power conditioner. Except for my wireless system. and I also wanna be able to plug something else in, if I have to.

  • ok, thanks

  • Could be the different voltages of the equipment. US has 120 volts while much of Europe uses 240 volts, just a guess.

  • No, my equipment is all on german voltage. Just different connectors.

  • Comment removed

  • what is that pyton thing youv'e got on top?

  • That is a multiple socket outlet.

  • sound's killer there's anyway you could send this settins to me I have the digitech RP21 I would like to try it so also we can share some settings and compare it .

  • Sorry, don't have it anymore.
