always liked johns views AND music/word art..most i agree with of that which he says here, but also feel we are ALL related/bro's and sis's, from one african birth mother, sure prob is that some who own/profit...from machine system (gr8 words), try to lie/use...to keep, but even johns claim to need/get...land back, is materialism so less agree with that, more agree with spirit keeping true/safe words...and science is a gr8 link i think...mike tights webber, poet in nz.

No matter who else I hear from now about the Occupy movement, the economy, the environment, energy - I always come back to the compelling wisdom that Derrick Jensen and the Deep Green Resistance movement have articulated. Much of it has come from native peoples, because that's what we've lost in our 'civilized' society. We've lost our humanity.

@LoveIsNotNotLove PS --I had not ever heard of John Trudell before. So, I am talking about this specific video. I am not espousing his whole belief set either or not, I don't know it. But, I think he is spot on here, and I will say that much: here I agree.

I also think Gen McArthur would agree, as he warned modern society while onboard a ship off the coast of Normandy, ww2: if civilization does not keep up spiritually, ie not behave harbaric, then we will all be in trouble in the nuke-age.

As I said earlier, mining of the essence is scary, and scarier that we actually have accepted the unacceptable...John Trudell's words are thought provoking and always have been.... I have listened to many of his works, but this video's subject matter is particularly disturbing and horrific...this video is very well put together along with the music choice..
