Georgie Fame - he performed at my college in the 1970s, and didn't even play The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde". I won a a pair of tickets to see him in the 80s, and only my wife's optimistic hope of each next song being half decent, kept me from walking out early. He's still going strong, according to wikipedia. I think The Price of Fame was a short-lived music programme, which he co-hosted with friend, and ex member of The Animals, Alan Price. Am I right?

Wouldn't you know.,video footage of one of the best pop LPs of all time(just ask Paul Schaffer from Letterman's show).and it's the lone cover track(the rest of the LP is pure Webb),and is the weakest track on the album. So if you like this,imagine how great the rest of it sounds. The studio versions feature those great LA studio musicians that Webb used for the Fifth Dimension's "Magic Garden". Universal won't even bring this out for US release under their limited edition Hip-O Select label.
