I like lenzman remix more too :) this one is somewhat sounds very simple, just like beat put on the track and vocals abit distorted. Lenzman has that vibe over all of his tracks :) although its a matter of taste :)

What program do you use to isolate the vocals? I've tried using equaliser and fft filter on audacity but I can't get just the vocals and I don't know what frequency to leave audible.

Use Cubase and NI Massive, thats how I make my stuff, plus descent samples. Layer your samples/loops and use the time stretch to alter the vocal tempo without altering the pitch. Use a spectrum analyser to see where each track peaks in the frequency spectrum. To get a punchy snare use layers of snares with an accentuation at 200Hz to hit hard, plus higher pitch snare at 2000-2500Hz, judge this against your mix though...happy mixing :) !

@Sw1Official hm.. i dont know much about reason because i use fl. but in fl, when you put synths / vocals into a slicer and slice the synth / vocal into little parts (notes or words) you can structure them better and you wont have to change the pitch of anything. maybe you can translate that into reason, i hope i could help..

I like this remix.. but it's kind of in between two genres. It's not quite jump up and not quite liquid. I've been doing my own remix and I thought everyone was going to do a jump up version.. so to get noticed liquid was the way forward.
