DKC2 songs in 5.1 Audio - READ DESCRIPTION! (Stickerbrush Symphony)

Hey, I was wondering if you could upload some of the songs in the description (such as fear factory). I'd really appreciate a way to listen to it without installing software for the rar files :)

No worries.

The stereo preview is a downmixed version of the finished 5.1 file to stereo, so that it can be uploaded here, on youtube, for preview proposes since i don't know how can i upload a 5.1 file. The finished 5.1 file in the download section is not stereo, its a proper surround file with proper separated channels for a 5.1 setup and better quality (if you setup your system right).

I can't upload the song to my ipod =[ it plays fine on my computer but when I try to play it on my ipod, it just skips right over it

I'm sorry, i can't help you, i don't have an ipod. These files have 5 channels of audio. Maybe ipod only plays stereo-2 channel files?

I tried a few other songs like the final Boss song and the one you are asking but they didn't turn out so well. I don't have any plans trying again right now or to continue the project, maybe if i get my enthusiasm back i will try

Can you post the songs anywhere else other than rapidshare? The last time I went to rapidshare, I ended up getting a trojan.

Downloaded this earlier today to listen to, and it was AMAZING! You've inspired me to have a shot at remastering some other SNES tunes. :P

Just a question, which channel numbers correspond to which speakers when exporting from Audacity?

@snes101 Nevermind, made a quick test file to determine the channels. I'm starting off with a few songs from the EarthBound soundtrack, by the way.

Hi snes, thanks for the comments. The channels position depends in what format you choose to save. If you save your files as 5.1 WAV, for instance, the channel "1" is the first left speaker (if i remember correctly) and if you choose to save as m4a, the same channel becomes the "center". Its a bit confusing but if you stick to one format you won't have any problems.
