Im sorry, but you have your facts wrong. Aids is only .3% of the country, one of the worlds lowest rates. The poverty rate is roughly 20% and has been on a decline for decades. (20% compared to US 13% isn't too bad). India has the 4th most powerful military , soon to number 2. All of this according to the CIA. There is no arguing that India is still a poor country, but no where what you claim it to be. Even more, India is a growing superpower. There is reason but jealousy behind your comment

India takes in more goods from overseas than it exports, you only need to look at the trade balance. There is also no point in comparing India with the US. Even after having so much resources 300 million has 13% poverty. When you deal with population density and resources you should speak in %. for eg: Carbon emission in West is much more while considering their population compared to China or India. Try to learn the difference between % and quantity and its use.Go to school again.

However Today there is alot of development going on in India too so the salaries for engineers has gone up in India and therefore less engineers are migrating from India.
