  • mmm, british engineering. not for sissies. why is it all the bad comments come from non-brits? seems like sour grapes. im just saying...

  • dont crash lol

  • Just a funny fact: This and the Radical sr8 LM is the first road cars ever to reach a power/weight ratio equaling he power/weight of a superbike. So this car is pretty much like the car worlds gsxr1000, R1, 1198s, fireblade, desmo 16 and so on. I really like this concept, a lot... The concept of achieving a big power/weight ratio is the best concept when trying to build a supercar. But really, the concept of a supercar for the road is quite silly though, you never be able to use all the power.

  • well no of course you could never use all that performance on the road, but that's not the point! the point is to own something that you know could kick every cars ass around you in first gear, second if the car is a bit fast, and that you can drive to a track, have some majorly good fun, and drive back home, and maybe have a passenger the whole way. it's also about owning something that is just like nothing else and starring at it and knowing it's yours...in short...it's about passion!

  • main difference is that the t1 radical and atom can all be put on the side of the road without falling over

  • is this even street legal?

  • yeah it is

  • What about an electric caparo ?

  • you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

    vvv

  • I think this is a silly car.

  • Caparo T-1. A formular 1 racer for the masses

  • for the masses...who have massive amounts of money just lying around ;)

  • my tits are SO sore right now!!! :( oooouch!! l

  • I don't actually own a caparo T1 but i've seen one at a exhibition and it broke down every 5 minutes, and just remember your parking the caparo somewhere in your town and someone bumps into it while parking his own car. What now where's the next caparo dealer and just think of how expensive it would be..... for those reasons i came to the conclusion that the caparo t1 is not a car the world needs!

  • i fucking hate my bro he crashed my Caparo T1

i was gonna kill him but didnt so i just had to save up again to buy aother Caparo T1 and i did it all ended....

  • what a knob you are... you can't even spell, use foul language and are obviously a school boy, dream on loser..in 3-4 years time after you leave school you'll be driving a corsa/saxo that mummy and your step daddy bought you.

  • no he didn't...

  • lie much?

  • for the price it should be alot more reliable than it is. other than that its a cool idea making something like an f1 car street legal.

  • for the price it should be alot more reliable than it is.

  • This car is just a waste of materials!! You really can't use it on the road and it's far to unreliable to be a track car. And it's very expensive....so what is it then? It's just rubbish. That's my opinion on this car.

  • Your boring! Why does something have to have a use? Use it to drive to work but get stuck every five minutes but you still have those five minutes. On the track it breaks every five minutes but you still the amazing five minutes of almost dying round every corner but making an unbeatable time. Stop rationalising this car, its to expensive to be rational!

  • So, does this judgment stem from personal experience? How many Caparos do you own? Ahh, I see.

  • i can understand why they have had all the problems....it's caparo....loads of money behind them....no investment...

  • This is the car that nearly killed Jason Plato by catching fire on him.

  • yeah, the police will love that - it's as street legal as smoking crack in the middle of an 8 lane express way whilst having a 3-some with a goat and a 12 year old girl, whilst explaining your plans to kill the president to some guy called Mohammed. Street legal? pfft.

  • HAHA AWESOME ANALOGY!!!

  • Actually it is completely street legal. Just like the Veyron is. All you need to be street legal is appropriate lights, turn signals, brake lights, and a windshield. - Think about the Hayabusa motorcycle. This is about the same...with 4 wheels and more downforce.

  • The car is legal in the UK. As all countries have different laws it may not be legal in the USA or wherever else you may be from. I'm sure the designers will do what they can to make sure the car is legal for all major markets, would be stupid not to.

  • Wow, someone panned a camera on a still photo, how riveting.

  • Nope this is no still photo,Mate?????!!!!!

  • No? what are you on about? Course it is!

  • Well,i guess your due your views!

  • What is wrong with you? The photo used is the bloody file photo displayed on the website of Caparo, and as you may have noticed, the angles never change as the camera pans over the photo. So it's not a 'view' of mine, I'm merely stating a fact.

  • As i've already said your due your "views".It doesn't seem to bother the 13,766 other people who have viewed the VIDEO.

  • Street leagal until you hit a pothole and rip the entire underbody off.

  • Yes or some of those damn speed bumps!

  • Im a pirate from singapore and your all wrong, i saw it sink a spanish galleon back in the 1200's, yarrrr

  • The Caparo T1 is a British mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-seater, open-wheel car built by Caparo Vehicle Technologies, (formally know as Freestream), founded by Ben Scott-Geddes and Graham Halstead, former engineers involved in the development of the McLaren F1.[1] The T1 was inspired by Formula One design, and intended as an affordable street legal race car.[1] The T1 is scheduled for production in mid-2007 for a price of GB£180,000 (approx. US$350,000, c.2007).[2]

    bitch

  • COUGH COUGH its a british midengine best ur lol........fairplay american r just waste of space they couldnt have a heart to design something so small yet so fast, american v8 5 litre engine max hp is 200-300hp the best ones in europe we wont touch it coz its useless

  • bull crap its the italians who make the best

  • doubt it m8 i saw th plans b4 th car woz built

coz ma mom woz helpin 2 do th advertizin 4 it

  • If you saw it before "Ne1 els" Then wouldnt that mean you designed the car!! And If I remember correctly there wasnt a woman on the design team, there for my friend from oslo knew about it long before your mom did and I also knew about it before your mother did.

  • who said his mom's a woman?

  • This is a good point. good call

  • um.........

this car wass drafted in 1996. the first ever produced was in february 2000.

    lol

  • I thought it was 97 but anyways whats your point?

  • i saw this car b4 ne1 coz ma mom works 4 caparo ha

  • your wronge ive seen this well before u

  • same to you - who gives a rat's ass?

  • note these "rat's ass" comments are directed to the people who were like "Oh I knew about it first"

how bout this - none of you knew about it first - The people who thought up the idea at Caparo knew about it first...so stop acting like you're cool and bragging (or most likely lying) (Besides we ALL technically knew about it b/c OF COURSE they'd eventually make another supercar)

guess what? I also know that eventually going to have jet cars!!!! OMG I'M SOO COOL (note the extreme sarcasm)

  • Who gives a rat's ass?

  • You obviously did, thats why you clicked on the video, retard.

  • we the british are the best at making super cars

  • too damn right you are

  • i'll admit you guys have some fantastic cars, but leave the super-car making to us Americans.

Just kidding, we suck. I'd have to go number 1 with the Italians... some sexy, beautiful, performing vehicles...

  • Ford GTX1

  • Thats a joint effort not all american. hottest supercar is the Ascari!
