  • big is best, so glad there was no bodies hit the floor music, just pure kerosene burners sounding off.

  • If you're the enemy and you see this in the air..you know it's gonna be a bad day.

  • @tribeisone Thing is..............they rarely saw them since they flew in the stratosphere (their operating "ceiling" was around 50,000 feet). In Vietnam, they were known as "hell from above". Couldn't see 'em OR hear 'em............but what fell to the ground was hell on earth!

  • it looks happy

  • If you look at the large fuel tanks at the wing tip. With all that weight and the wings flex, brother it needs them!!! Whats amazing is the main wheels. This jet can take off SIDE WAYS in a cross wind!!!

  • I like the flyby afterward with the wave goodbye.

  • the body looks like a car and it has wings

  • great video, thanks for sharing

  • My favorite plane ever!

  • I want one!!!!

  • This plane is a BEAST handsdown! Even the engines sounds aggressive. Simply beautiful!

  • You see this plane, and you KNOW it means business.

  • KC-10?

  • it has 8 engines

    ?

  • Yep. Anytime the wings have to have wheels...you know it is a big aircraft. An amazing plane that is still serving our country well!!

  • The wings have to have wheels otherwise they will clip the ground. Awesome plane, so old, but awesome. A plane ahead of it's time.

  • Holy fuck , what a HUGE plane, nice video man ;O

  • Awsum, nice video, thanks.............

  • Why do they call her ugly? i find the B-52 the most beautiful modern bomber ever....

  • @TheHispanicAviator you say "modern" like it was made yesterday...bare in mind it was created in 1952!

  • @j4cko56 But it's operating now.

  • @j4cko56 I understand your reasoning, but this generation of the bomber is a modern version. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

  • @TheHispanicAviator: This appears to be a B-52H. The last H rolled off the assembly line in 1962 and is the only model equipped with turbofan engines (as well as the only model still in service).

  • @raynus1 Thanks for the info! Learned from my mistake!

  • @raynus1 I agree. I trained on the BUFF back in the 70s *I believe the B model was the first one i worked on*. This one definitely has turbofans, not turbojets, making it an H model.

  • @TheHispanicAviator People are just conscious about the wheels of the plane

  • @TheHispanicAviator

It was called Ugly because of it taking off & landing so flat....no pitch to it, or at least not very much. To most, a nose up looks much better when taking off.

  • I've always thought those planes look really hard to fly or keep stable.

  • i saw that airplane at the air show! look at my channel and you will se it

  • Monster!

  • I'm not into military aircrafts (well, not that much) but this is my favorite.

  • It's not called B.U.F.F for nothing :p

  • Haha I Iove it how the wings have wheels

  • Greatest Sound you will ever hear. =)

  • cool nice!

  • 8th viewer bitches
