  • You know ALL these videos are SOO helpful,Im so inspired and found these (After) Ive made the decision for my first day. I KNOW I KNOW it going to be tough, but this is what

im looking for!! a REAL life experience , so THANK YOU!!

  • Keep going don't give up :)

  • Nice face!

  • @kaksimogi Why, are you looking at a mirror?

  • i want to quit but still feelin like this after 6 months, damn am in for some bad times!

  • Stay strong girl! You know you are much stronger than leaf so show it! : D

  • You are awesome! I'm about your age, and I quit only a month and a half ago, cold turkey. There is no way I will ever smoke again, and be a smoker again. It comes down to dealing with stress and a few fragile days like this. At the end is a mountain of strength, I've seen it already. Hugs and congrats to you!

  • I am at the stage in this video. I now know its normal to be fragile and emotional even 6 months and a week like me. I am looking forward to month seven and then 10 months as in your other video. thanks for people like you who share their experiences.

  • Can I ask you when you NOTICED the difference between 6 months and 10 days till 10 months? stress can be bad, but you got passed the hell at 6 months 10 days WOW you are a star!

  • @gf1001 It's been so long ago, I honestly don't remember anymore. All I can say is that it really does become easier and eventually a non-issue/non-thought. Keep up the strength and you will get there too. I'm very VERY glad that my videos have been useful to you. Thank you very much for your feed back and for sharing your experience. Continued success to you.

  • I wanted to say thank you nikitejay. I am one week short of 6 months, the past week has been hell anxiety emotional. I do not think there is a set patten to withdrwal. I found the first 3 months a brezze, then it became difficult up and down, but thelast week a total bitch. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all, its been so helpful to me and thousands of others.

  • I quit about 6 weeks ago I had stressful day 2day well done for keeping strong! I didn't give in either I feel stronger not giving in! I'm beginning to feel I can overcome anything!

    best wishes.

  • Just wanted to let you know that during the first 2 weeks of my first ever attempt to quit (after smoking for 41 years) i watched your videos over and over and over again. Like you, I quit cold turkey, and now, 37 days later, the desire to smoke is all but gone - except for right after a big meal, lol.

THANK YOU so very much for being a big part (albeit unknowingly), of my success at letting go of this addiction. You have my sincere gratitude. I wish you joy as you live a smoke-free life!

  • @billyjoeboomboom It's for people just like you that I've left these videos up and running. I'm so very glad that they helped you. Keep up the good work! ~Nikita

  • Congrats on quiting im going to be stopping tuesday scared out of my mind though, feel like doomsday is creeping up.

  • Thanks happyboy !

  • OMG your 42??!! you look so young!! i thought you were in your early 20's WOW

  • dont take a deep breath, hold your breath for as long as you can, and exhale slowly,so relaxing, because you appreciate that you are breathing.

  • Some great advice there. I realize this video was posted a couple of years ago, hope you're well over smoking now. I've never been a smoker but can appreciate how difficult it is for smokers to kick the addiction. More power to those who put their health first and at least try to quit. Well done to those who succeed.

  • i stoped the day i had an heart attack , dont be sad you are beautifull, your smart anough to get over it

  • what i do in a moment like that i get one out of an ash tray and just smoke a little bit of it doe this when ur tring to quit noting rong with 1 r 2 puffs

  • @insanemagicguy Try telling that to millions of addicted smokers.

  • @nikitejay insanemajicguy is the kind of guy who will try it one day and be hooked. All it takes is a little naivety ;) good job Nikite I haven't had one in 2012 and I hope to catch up to the substantial time that you have. Like you, I'm more happy than anything. It's about accomplishing such a big goal that really is a symbol for so much more than cigarettes. You know what I mean ;) Did you notice your skin change or anything like that?

  • @insanemagicguy Nicotine is the reason... once it starts getting out of your system, it actually is a hazard to your body as it leaves.

  • @insanemagicguy Your stupid

  • @Mythix92

    You're*

  • Hi babe...get yourself a electronic cigarette

  • @MrSpeculant I don't need any such thing. It's been nearly 3 years now and I'm doing just fine. It (quitting) can be done.

  • impressive. i am on day 9

  • @joshuak123 Good Luck!!!

  • Thank you for the video. This is my first week without smoking and I am having a hard time too. I am 48 and have emphysema from smoking so i must quit. Your vids have helped me. Thanks for the encouragement

  • @lyndaraven

Stick with it and Good LUCK!!! It's been 2 years 9 months for me now! You can do it!

  • get a life !! NOOW !!!

  • @chupalatrompeta7

Hey Moron, that was over 2 years ago. AND you didn't know me then OR now. I was going through a divorce at that time and my father just had a massive heart attach, I had a severe kidney infection, I broke my left leg, someone stole my car AND I was laid off from my job, all in a 4 week span.

Now I'm a healthy active happy woman. I mountain climb, canoe, snowmobile, swim, boat, cycle, travel, run a minimum of 5 k/day and I'm in a loving relationship. So Fuck You Loser.

  • I think we need to start a class action suit on the nicotine patch companies for price gouging....every time the price of cigarettes go up so do the price of those patches and we all know most of the cigarette price is taxes...

I quit cold turkey just recently and it's pure hell and I know the patches would just keep us addicted to nicotine...The patch companies are probably making a killing on the people that don't want to chew or smoke anymore, but just can't quit

  • Three weeks exactly Today !!!!!! I can do it. Thanks Nikitejay !!! Your awesome. By the way, I saw your trip to Jasper. Cool !!!!!

  • You're aesthetically pleasing, with or without the smokes...but preferably without ;)

  • Thanks buddy, that's sweet.

  • You're hot

  • You really should smoke. It is so sexy. VS 120's please.

  • Eat shit.

Sorry, I'm not usually so rude. But seriously...

  • He's just mad because you quit and he doesn't have the strength to. I am currently on my 6th day. Touph, but I can handle this. Day 10 is when I start struggling. Wish me luck !!!!! Congrats for you !!!!!

  • i'm curious about your quitting in smoking, how did it go?

  • You are leaving a preachy comment on an atheists video. So no offence intended but take your righteous bizaaroism and shove it.

FYI ... Life woulndn't even be worth living without sex. In fact, life woulndn't be AT ALL without sex.

There is no god and there is no devil. Just Sex and Cursing and Pornography. Blow-jobs.... most guys would say life wouldn't be the same with out them. Fuck. (Oops, I cursed).

  • your video was so real for me.. Especially with milestones...to be honest...i've been smoking a pack a day for bout 4 years now, which isn't anything close to what you have been through, but my milestone is just over 24 hours, and to have not smoked an entire day, after being used to smoking a pack, is my first milestone for many more to come. Thank you for the support I needed just now...I know I have the will to overcome it...from one quitter to another, thank you for your support.

  • Well Boxer, those very rough first days are just that. Very rough. Do what ever you have to do to keep from lighting up. Make sure you get rid of all of the smokes around you. I did a dumb thing and kept just one near me for days, (in case of "emergency"). I never did smoke it or light it, but it took all of the will power and determination I had to make it through. Just know that you're not alone and you CAN DO IT!

    Here for you,

    Nikita

  • I had to keep a pack on me the whole time or I would go to the shop buy a pack smoke one then feel guilty and crush the packet, got expensive so I just carried a pack and never touched it.

  • Good for you!!!!

  • I'm a big packet-crusher too. Man is that crazy or what? Was in a hotel for 2 weeks working and the cleaning lady even walked right up to me and with genuine astonishment asked me why I had like 2 near-full packs of crushed (and drenched) cigarret packs in my bin every day ;). I started agin after 2 years, smoked 3 months, quit again 6 weeks ago.

  • How did you do boxer? hope you manged to keep on the wagon.. If you fell off though just try try again.. Good luck.

  • ur looks like belinda XD

  • Congratulations on winning pig of the day.

I will leave your ignorant and repulsive comment here for others to see and judge for themselves.

  • how many cigs did u smoke a day when you were smoking? and is it realy that addictive that u get very stressed and stuff even when u havnt smoke for like a month anymore? just askin this cause i just started smoking for like a few months and dont wanna get too addicted, i mean i cant just say no to my friends when they're smoking a cig afer school and im with them. right now im smoking 2-4 cigs a day so yeh.. i wanna know the consequences...

  • I smoked a pack a day for 23 years.

I suggest that you stop now before you start smoking more. If you're just starting, you will start having "just one more" until you too are smoking a pack a day. Then it will be VERY HARD to quit. Good Luck.

  • dang glad i've never tried this shit

  • Glad for U!

  • Thanks for your strength.

  • Thanks for tuning me into your belching world, FUCK! I really needed to laugh like that! You & Kylemonkey hilarious!

  • No problem. GLad I could help you out. :)

  • Congratulations on 18 weeks! That's a real accomplishment! I have a surprise coming up in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned! And stay smoke free, I'm rooting for you!

    :D Nikita

  • hey everyone if your havin a little trouble stopping smoking...there is a new guy I found posting some really smart advice about quitting smoking...just type "The ex smoker" in the search and go check it out. Good luck

  • My first day and I was weak. I smoked one cig and now I am beating myself up and I want another one. AHHH. you inspire me.

  • Be strong sweets, i have heard quitting is harder for females. I have no idea if that's the case and the reasons why though.

  • Congratulations!!!!!

  • You are a strong woman! Way to go!

    Jobbe

  • Don't worry, the rough times always come back! :-)

(they are our guide towards happines!)

    Jobbe

  • hey Niki!

  • Thanks for your pioneering. Well if she can go through it so can I. Been 8 days since.. I think I got a spare packet in the cupboard. Nope. Maybe a butt under the bed. Ugh no. Looks like I'll just have to scrawl the wallpaper off with my nails and smoke that. Cough Cough Cough. Yeah But you don't get the hit of knowing you're a stupid slave to the baccy weed.

Jeff - must do a video. Oh I have - see Smokey Bad J

  • Silly Man! Don't Do It! Be strong! I was!

And now it's almost 9 months smoke free!

TRUST ME! It DOES get EASIER!

    YOU CAN DO IT!

  • Seriously just forget about it for christ sake just doooooooooont take it! What is so hard about it oh and by the way let urself cry not publicaly it lets ur emotions flow and u get stronger after! oh btw just stop thinking lifes a stress ... caz really life is easy u could achive anything... the only person stopping u from acheiving that is ... YOU! so dont even try to fight ur self just go pass it...it doesnt matter tell urself ur the best and ull win! AND NO SMOKING!

  • You should do smoking videos! You are so pretty.

  • Thanks Doc!

  • 6 Months is a long time to go without a cigarette.

    Keep it up

    I can't do it

    hope you can.

  • you are stonger than this...You will win!!!

  • I have never smoke and I hope I will never do,I hope you can hand this my lady

  • JUDY!!!! I'm sad for you. Don't stay too disappointed, it will only hinder your ability to get back up and soldier on without smoking. Was it just one? Or have you thrown in the towel?

  • YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!!! nicotine is a never ending story, as you may well be learning

  • its been over 5 years for me and i still have days like this once in awhile. im still one smoke away from a pack a day

  • Do you mean that if you had just one smoke now you'd be back to smoking a pack a day?

5 years is AWESOME!!! I will be there too one day.

  • go girl!!!DONT SMOKE!! cause u win!!!u dont smoke 6 months..this is a win!!! u got it !u quit!!! i am a smoker girl...and it is so bad, i admire u cause, u can!!! and i am thinking to stay with u...i am thinking to quit also... !!! u are my muse to quit smoke!! dont be sad, u are not alone..i am completely understend ur stress, but u are a winner!!!take this!!!u are a winner!!! i love ur vids!!keep going!!! much love!!!!

  • It all comes down to one thing...don't gamble with your health! The temptation to smoke should always be viewed through the lens of cancer. It would be very sad to die from that disease just because one gives into temptation. Next time you have a strong urge to smoke, just take a brisk 10 mile walk.

  • Will do! Great advice!

  • Thank you 2smart!

  • With friends like you, It's easier!

  • Judi, You're doing great! I'm very glad you see me as an inspiration! I'm sure you can continue to hang in there too until you are through the worst of the cravings! It is SO doable!

  • Thanks Rex!

  • It was tough Braz, but I made it over the bump.

  • Thanks Dean,

You know, I used to dream of smoking when I've quit in the past but I haven't had one dream of smoking this time. I really can't believe it.

  • This is such bad advice. when you're a nicotine addict, just one cigarette can bring you back to a shit habit.

  • Triangle, Thank you. You are correct.

  • You are doing so well, As you know, I gave up last September and I still have days when I really want to smoke, I have been (and still am) quite depressed over the fact that I have put on weight after quitting and finding it really hard to lose the weight but you have to stay strong. Take care.

  • That's a bit longer than me Twinbee. I lost 20 lbs since I quit. I know that's not normal. But I've been really stressed. Think of it this way. Once you're over the cravings, you'll be totally ready to lose the weight. Start going for walks daily and increase your distance and pace periodically. You'll start noticing a difference and it will motivate you.

    Good luck,

    ~Nikita

  • nice job going six months, your vids have help me quit i am 27 days now. keep it up.

  • Thanks StreetBike and Congratulations! Keep going!

  • It's amazing that the cravings don't go away.

Good on you sweetie for not giving in.

I have nine days to nine months, still abstaing, still craving.

    love,

    ~phae

  • Thanks A, it really is a shocker when a craving hits. I don't think of it for days then all of a sudden, whamo! Right between the eyes. Congratulations to you on your lengthy ride!

  • Niki! What's happening, babe? You ok?

  • You are awesome, I know so many people who say they are gonna quite smoking and haven't been able to do it, 6 months is a long time and it would be sad to throw all that hard work away. I know it must be hard, I have never smoked, but like I said I know a lot of smokers and I know that they want to quit, but they haven't been able to find the strengh to do it. Keep up the good work. I'm proud of you!!!

  • Thanks so much Carla!

  • Heres to the next 6 months!!!

  • Yes!

  • Hang in there! I had trouble coping w/ stress my first year and a half off cigarettes. It is a HUGE change for you mentally and emotionally. Just hang in tight even if you have tio white knuckle it.

Check in w/ quitnet(dot)com. They helped me so much. Actually the help came in the form of helping others that were just getting started in their quits. There is nothing quite as reaffirming as cheering someone that has 3 hours away from thier last puff.

  • Thanks for the tip. I will check in there if I get "that way" again. I agree that helping and encouraging others to succeed is a wonderful feeling!

  • Power to you beautiful!!!

There are times when you want to shout "when the fuck is this going to end!"

Just keep your eye on the prize. Better health and a lot of money saved! If you start to exercise that will help too!

Keep up the good work!!! You'll make it!!!

  • Thanks Proff! I have started exercising and it feels great! The big bad bump passed and I'm sane again.

  • Take those deep breaths sweetie. Where're all behind you. We aren't your subscribers for nothing!

  • Thanks so much Lambeau!

  • five months to the day baby. you can do it!!!! you're inspiring. :)

  • Congratulations Jenn! And thank you!

  • Hi sweetheart, I didn't know you were back. You can make it through anything, and we are all here for you. HUGS!

  • Thanks Melody!

  • You will be strong. 4 months, 5 days, cause of YOU! (Don't EVEN say it...)I am so proud of you! You are the best! (Get over here and let me give you a big hug!!!!) Is your nose shrinking or are you just getting better lighting?

  • Don't say what luv? Oh...That ...the blip? No, I won't mention it. You are doing GREAT too! I'm very proud of you. You are another example of strength in that you don't let stress drive you back to your addiction. (Better lighting?) Yeah, that's it.

  • Yeah, uh, thanks for not mentioning it.

  • Hang in there!

    Be Strong!

  • Thanks Lou! I did and I am! Whew!

  • you know that you tube is a culture..you do realize you have.......how many people... here..waiting to see you again?..smoking sucks!...yeah, but..not having you here sucks even more in my opinion! I started smoking again even drinking.. we are all the same..

  • Sweet words Sean! I wish I had more time to be here.

I'm sorry to hear that you're smoking again. Hopefully you will stop again when you're ready.

  • That was tough to watch! Glad to see you're turning that stress into positive thinking though. I'm thinking of you Nikita and sending you lots of love...

    You'll be just fine..!

  • Thanks so much Earth!

  • Love ya baby, keep up the good work.

Stress is a killer sweetie, hang in there and please don't throw away your six months and ten days all for nothing, I know because major stress is killing me a little more every day and as you I will not give up. Nikite I've been where you are and every day is a new start in life. (No I never smoked but I do have my own cross to bare). You're still young and beautiful please don't let the stress of life get you down. If I can make it so can you love.

    "D"

  • Thanks so much for your words of experience.

  • God will never tempt you beyond your ability to resist - and will always provide you a way out - Its in 2nd Corinthians somewhere. As for that hildeasshole below, - PERFECT EXAMPLE of the devils amongst us... THEY'D LOVE TO SEE YOU SUFFER.

  • Thanks for sticking up for me Mac! Appreciate it!

  • You're doing great, Nikita, and that's really excellent advice for those having problems with not only smoking, but other addictions as well. Stress will soon pass, that is definitely true. You may feel down at the moment, but you're being a real inspiration, and thanks for that :)

  • Thanks Loathly. You are right. The worst passed and now it is easy again. We just have to get over the bumps.

  • comments wont post

  • 6 months of damn fcking pain!!!.. come on, do what you want to do in life: smoke, just don't smoke to much. Look the French, they drink, they smoke.. and yet they are healthier than americans. Be strong and smoke in time to time... when you want to do it.

  • go fuck yourself. maybe when you're in a spot needing help - and feeling like jumping off a bridge - someone will come along and help you - by PUSHING your ignorant ASS over. You're like the DEVIL tempting GOOD to DO WRONG... Get fucked hildebitch... choke on your smoke - you're sure to get burned, retard.

  • Some people shouldn't be allowed to own more less use a computer, and with this profane comment here's a good example of who shouldn't have one.

    "D"

  • Props 2.

  • Props.

  • But living like that, in constant pain and desire... for six months. Why do you punish yourself like that?. Something could kill you when you go out home.. and you will be saying "why didn't enjoy life and had a smoke. I've been watching your videos hopping that you"ll say: "Today I had a cig, just because I wanted and not because I needed"

  • HOLY. OMg. 6 months and 10 days!!! WOW1!!! Im so proud of you! Nikita you are awesome!

  • Thank you Jean!

  • Hello,Nikita.

It is good you are fighting the urge to smoke. Make sure there aren't any anywhere near you.I found when I felt stressed ,I would go for a walk. And concentrate on the things I would see as I was out and about.

  • Wow, I didn't realize aliens got addicted to nicotine too. Evil earth influences. You give some good advice. Thank you.

    ~Nikita

  • Nikita, I'm very pleased for you, and proud. Well done!

Don't do it, you know it's not worth it. There are other ways to de-stress!

  • Thank you Ed! I got through the hump and I'm feeling much less stressed.

  • GIRL POWER!!!!!!

  • Yeah! Iggy RULES! *Boots*...LOL!

  • Sincerely, I'm proud of you.

  • Thanks so much!

  • Yay! I am always happy to see you!!! Nikita don't let the stress get to you!!

I still want to smoke all the time...But, I know if I just have one puff, I'll be right back to a pack a day. So, like you, I find myself making videos =)

May 1st it will be a year for me! I love what you do here! And I know you'll handle what life throws at you!

    Ben

  • Ben, thank you for your support, things have gotten better. Congratulations to you on your GRAND accomplishment! I agree, one puff and that would be it. Doom!

  • *Hugs* Things will improve...

  • Thanks Pops.
