This track is really cool. I love this kind of raw and honest garage rock. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from the 60s that didn´t "broke through". It´s a fantastic musical treasure. Listen for example to THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Really f.....g good with a bloody driving beat. And why not The Golliwogs track "Tell me". Check up the singer.................yes, it´s him!!!!!!!!
The pastels were from Battle Creek michigan, the guitar player" Benney Cook" was a good friend of mine so was the singer "bobby Dee" i think Benny borowed my guitar to record this one. Bobby later moved to Florida and had several bands, the original bass player for the Allman Brothers "Barry Oakley" was his bass player, Dickie Betts would also jam with them. i was in a band called The Troyes at the time.

Cool, cool stuff. Any chance of anyone having "You're the One" by Kalamazoo's The Hitch-Hikers? I've been looking for that a long time. Thanks ...

I was looking for a different "The Pastels", but... this is better? Like the Zombies and the Doors had a baby?
Thank you for sharing this!

@thespice311 I found it looking for the Scotish indie band too, but this is killer. Zombies, Sonics even a bit of The Animals. Good stuff.
