  • i thought she was so pretty when this came out. still is..

  • Alicia keys is a very very good singer and one of my favorites BUT AMEL LARRIEUX'S VOICE IS SUPERIOR!!!

    no disrespect intended

  • I prefer Amel because of her music and her songs. Alicia Keys seems hard, inconsistent, and commercial. Yet, both their voices are just too good to even care if ones a little better than the other.

  • Mantronix to the fullest!

  • Man I could listen to this a thousand times in a row, what a beat, and just like relativity theory, undefeatable.

  • that album was something to chill to.

  • The guy who plays the piano. Isn't he the guy on Beauty Shop with Queen Latifah?

  • Yes that's him.

  • Looks like it.

  • I was only 14 when this came out, but I knew dude in the video was sexy, still is 11 years later!

  • he really is!

  • Classic--

  • GOOD

  • this is my aunts favorite song. first time seein the video lol

  • Does anyone this song from Groove Theory called Sure? I have been looking for it for years, I cannot find it. It came out around 2001. It anyone can help me find it I will appreicate it.

  • If it was 2001, then I doubt it was Groove Theory, they broke up way before that

  • Larrieux left Groove Theory in 1999 to pursue a solo career, being replaced by Makeda Davis. The group signed with Columbia Records and recorded a new album, The Answer, which was expected for release in 2001. However, the group was eventually dropped from the label, causing the album to remain unreleased. A single entitled "4 Shure" was released from the album to minor chart performance.

  • love it ! :D

  • I love this song....y didn't Groove Theory stay around longer?! They were hott! that Bryce Wilson is GORGEOUS!!!!!!

  • one of my all time favorites..

  • man ...i'm 21 and i remember i was in elementary school when this came out. back when there was plenty of great music...period

  • hot track this is good music, clean, sweet beat, non-explicit, good message and no Lil Wayne to mess up the song with his druken stup.per rap

  • man i miss the 90's....

  • fuck off nerd.

  • me and my girls dance to this in the club all night.

  • Hey deagla... why don't go back in the garage and put your tin foil hat back on and leave us alone. Geeze! Let us NORMAL people enjoy a great song in peace!

  • Classic! A True CLASSIC! This is how R&B SHOULD Sound Like!

  • lolol this song always reminds me of my 1st grade teacher Ms Sherman, she loved this song lol we used to listen to it in class

  • I read somehwere that Amel turned down a record deal that was worth a lot of money. The artical said they wanted to sex up her image and change her style of singing and she turned it down.

  • I still listen to this song today. And I love how Trey Lorenz lends his vocals on this song.

  • it's the best of Rnb old school i remember the beautiful time

  • I was in college in 1995 when I first heard this song. I was jamming off of this. This was the time when neo-soul was blossoming, thanks to D'Angelo.

  • what about maxwell

  • Oh, I'm sorry about that. Maxwell and Erykah Badu, along with D'Angelo, were the foundation of neo-soul. The reason why I said D'Angelo because he was the first one to put it out there in the mainstream before Maxwell and Erykah Badu.
