Garifuna people are not just found in BELIZE they are found all over the cost of el Mar caribe there also in Honduras and SAN PEDRO SULA is a big Honduras city.
People need to know the history of the Garifuna people. The Garifuna people were originally known as the Red and Yellow Caribs. Garifuna people were not black like the way we see them today. The only reason why the Garinagu people have darker skin today is because the Africans escaped from slavery and intermarried with the Yellow or Red Caribs and the Awaraks. The Garifuna people are called black Caribs today because of their complexion.
