  • I can't by Artichoke i Denmark! :'i

  • @dgrace02 You can find them on eBay or online

  • Since green tea is awesome and artichoke tea is awesome would it be possible to make artichoke green tea? Or does that just taste nasty or somehow negate the positive effects of both? Just wondering if I can kill two birds with one stone! :D

  • :O my mom makes this but i never really drink it alot

  • im trying this out now :D

  • where did you buy the compressed mask ?

    please answer

  • @dgrace02 she bought on ebay,, :-)

  • Where's your blog post on artichoke tea? I'm curious to read it

  • is it ok to buy the artichoke tea bags instead of actually boiling a whole artichoke?

  • 2NE1 Go Away

  • Will try this as soon as possible. You are amazing. Thank you, thank you!

  • wow i love how you gave so much info in under 5 mins! definitely will try these tips out :)

  • I really loved this tutorial! I am definitely trying this! There's so many uses for artichokes! I love artichoke dip too so this is perfect!

  • Yum! I love making artichokes! I've never thought about drinking the water afterward. Thank you, your videos are so awesome!

  • I made this several times, and I love it! But...for some reason I can't get the dark green forest color. Is it because I'm not using distilled water or because I'm still cooking it too long? Not long enough?

  • wow. that's so impressive and informative. im so gonna try it. love it!!!!!!

  • you kinda look like jlo!

  • I would LOVE to do this but artichokes are so expensive in the UK.......………

  • Gyaru! (:

  • Hi, I made the tea exactly as you said, but mine did not turn out as dark green as yours. It's light green and still tastes great. Just wondering if 2 gallon was too much for half an artichoke? Thanks for reading my reply. :-)

  • @phantysmina It doesn't HAVE to be a dark forest green color... Some type of green is good enough.

  • Just tried this. If you like artichoke then you'll like the tea. Hopefully the tea doesn't need to be refrigerated 'cause I don't have enough room in my fridge for 2 gallons of artichoke tea, lol.

  • Oh I love artichokes!! But they are very very exspencive here.. They r like 3 dollars here.. So when ever I visit california I try to eat as many as I can!! Haha!!

  • I thought I hated artichoke but I decided to try this anyway and it turned out I loved both the tea and the dip! Thanks so much for the tips!

  • Omg my mom made me drink it too~ <3 I love to drink it chilled

But the weird thing is that my mom makes it wrong, it comes out as a cloudy yellowish light green color :S

  • 2ne1!!!!!! aaaaaahhh i love your diys!!!!!!!!

  • @blueawesome12 actually, i think i saw those slides on the liver before

my asian grandma sent me an email on liver and the other body parts......

  • I LOVE ATISO! <3

  • can we put it in the freezer to make it last longer??? cuz i know i wont drink 2 gallons of it in a week! lol anyone??? i need help!

  • is there anything i can i add so itll taste better??? haha

  • Every time I make this my mom tries to cover it D: lucky enough I get there just in time before she does <3

  • what do i do to the other half??

  • Thanks for posting! It's really helped my skin. Plus, I'm a singer, and I've found it's an awesome replacement for regular tea (which I kind of find disgusting) with honey it's an amazing remedy for a sore throat! I swear by it before a performance now. Not to mention, it's really good!

  • Hi. So I made some last night and it wasn't that forest green color that yours was. Mine was more of a limey green. Did I do something wrong? Or was the proportion off? Could it be that my artichoke was smaller than yours that made the proportion to be off? Oh yeah and how often should I drink this? Thank you!- Chi

  • 2 Gallons?! That's a lot of water

  • Do you add sugar to the tea or just drink it like that

  • You may have started an artichoke movement! I made both the tea and the cream cheese and love both! I used my magic bullet blender to quickly cut down the artichoke for the cream cheese (plus I'm lazy) and it worked really well.

  • i tried this.

omfg the dip and tea tastes awesome.

  • I'm so excited to try this!

  • Just made some, waiting for it to cool!! ^^

  • where can i buy those compressed masks ?

btw i love watching your vids !

    you're SO SMART ! ! ! ! @0@

  • @nekophia You can get them off ebay for like a dollar. :)

  • I actually went out at 2 am and bought some artichokes and made this lol. Yeah, I came back after trying this for a couple of weeks and breaking in between for a week. It has helped me with my breakouts a little. Thanks a bunch.

  • I'm making this now but artichokes are much more expensive in my area. They're $3.49 each. I didn't have any cream cheese and cilantro so I used Greek yogurt, salt and pepper, and lime juice instead, which turned out to be pretty good if you want to give that a try.

  • Can you use regular water instead of distilled? :S

  • Hi! I made some today and I didnt like the taste of it. But then I added some juice and it taste better. I hope it still will clean my liver... The colour of it was really cool, very dark green.. Really liked the tutorial though :) greetings from Sweden

  • I made my first batch of this and love it. Thanks so much for the vid.

  • I like ur hair

    What color is it ?

  • Comment removed

  • @berrykit true that lol

  • Hay! Just wanted to say that after I saw ur vid I made this and it is soo yummy. I havent been drinking it long enough to know if it's helping with my acne, but so far I love it!

  • @beanrhippi well update us and let me know how ti turns out for you!

  • hehe the burp at the end

  • Hmm... With school, I don't think it would be good to be drinking this in the morning. I'd probably be running to the bathroom between classes. :/

    I'll drink when I get home. :P

  • does anyone else hear Go Away by 2ne1 in the background?!?!??! ahhahha i like the random kpop music in your vids :)

  • omg yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Is it okay to freeze some of the tea so that it'll last longer? Or will that degrade the nutritional value?

  • Did anyone try the leaves for under eye puffiness ? Did it work ?

  • 1500/16 likes to dislikes? If this doesn't work nothing will...

  • I just tried this with a gallon of distilled water and a whole organic artichoke (it was kind of on the small side), and I got a verrrry light green color :\ Would there be as much nutritional value in a light green brew as in your forest green one?

  • Not in Hawaii.. Artichokes are so darn expensive here.

  • I really need to go buy some now.......

  • It does taste nice. Nutty and mild. I made a smaller pot and drank it in one evening. I didn't realize artichokes were $3.50 where I live though, which I think is kind of expensive.

  • what does it taste like???

  • After watching this I've been seeing Artichokes everywhere I go now ---->Maybe it's a sign telling me I should definitely try this.

  • LMFAO. the burp at the end was just to cute :)

  • I'm trying to make this right now and I can only fit one gallon of water into the pot that I own. Should I just put a fourth of the artichoke in? Please respond!!

  • I can't fit two gallons of water into the pot that I have...

    Any suggestions??

  • I tried this today and it came out much lighter in color than yours. Its so nasty to me, but I'm still gonna try to drink it. Thanks for the helpful info

  • This is why I watch ur vids! Smart and beautiful!

  • @SecretLifeOfaBioNerd will the tea still have the same benefits if light green ????

  • you need to do a room tour

  • I made the dip (: didn't have any cilantro leaves tho instead i just put some chicken flavored seasoning tastes good xD

  • If your artichokes aren't as big.. cause I live up North and they're not as easy to get up here do they work the same?

  • @MsEazza i could only found small ones' too and i only found a small pot so i used one gallon (16 cups) and two small artichokes to eqaul half a big one and it looks good but im yet to drink it because it still needs 5 more min on the stove hope this helps!!

  • in the pot it looks dark green and in a cup it's light green. did i do it right? lol it tastes like tea.

  • I love this tutorial, especially since you added how to make tea and give information about how it helps the liver. I just told my mom, who just got out of the hospital for liver problems, about this. Thanks! :)

  • I love your DIY videos!

  • When does the drink go bad? A week? O:

  • My artichoke looks much smaller than yours ><" is it 2 gallons , still?

  • 4:17 when in doubt, pinky out.

  • Ahh I used to drink this and it really does make you use the bathroom! I also heard that its great for weight loss because it's cleaning your body.Watching your video just reminded me I need to start this again. And now I can do soo much with just one artichoke! THANK YOU! >.<

  • Do you have a DIY cleanser for acne? and sensitive skin

  • Im making this right now :D (this very moment) :P So excited to try it.

  • I'm definitely going to try this one. Thank you =^,^=

  • does it taste bitter ?? its like my grandma need to cool it or else it will spoil and my grandma always talks loud!!

  • what is distilled water?

  • I love the "science part" in your DIY videos, because I think it's a good thing to know why some things happen (like acne, or bad looking skin ..) and how to get rid of this. It's really helpful, and you're not like the other gurus who do things and never try to know why it works (: And you are gorgeous, as always (;

  • This is cool, very informative:)

  • I like artichoke....but when I think is them I think of the dip....but in tea form...that scares me. XD But I liked this video very much and might tryi i out next week before starting school. 8D

    TY!

  • what if you're allergic to artichoke ? what can we use?

  • I wish u were my sis... it's good to have a nerd in the family...u look mesmerazing on this vid!

  • lol

  • When you cook artichokes if you want to keep all the good vitamines and active ingredients you should cook it in a presto cooker. Cooking it like you, you are loosing up to 80% of all active ingredients in the vapour. Do not keep the water more then 3 days or else you might get serious skin reactions to bacteria that is very present and loves water. I've been doing this for years, my mother in law is a Doctor in chemistry and I'm just replying what she is telling me :).

  • Okay so I went out and bought an artichoke and made this baby. I was more than delighted when mine turned out a forest green color just like yours (maybe a shade or two lighter) so I sipped it, and it tasted EXACTLY like water to me. It had a very faint nutty taste to it. And BOY does this sucker made you go to the washroom holy! :D

  • is there an after taste from the tea like green tea has??

  • Thats alot of things you can do with an artichoke o.o

  • artichoke, never heard of it... well you learn something new everyday. ^_^

  • wow your amazing! you explain everything perfectly and never waste anything

  • Hmmm...very interesting..tho I cringe at the thought of drinking artichoke water :/ That would be bitter as heck! Blech! I do love them steamed tho...nom nom... :)

  • Cilantro tastes like soap to me lol ಠ_ಠ But the tea was awsome thanks for the video!!

  • how come my artichoke tea comes out as light green while yours is deep dark green? I feel like I'm doing this wrong......btw I finished a batch in two days X) yesh, I drink ALOT of water :D

  • @rainxday1 sometimes you need for it to cool down to be a darker green. I fnot u can cook it a wee bit longer!

  • Guess who is running to the store to buy some artichokes

  • im waiting an hour for this stuff to boill.....crap ಠ_ಠ

  • Where did you get your hat from? its adorable ^___^

  • are you sure its 2 gallons? your pot sure doesnt look it can hold that much liquid...

  • @jfong252 It is two gallons..it looks shallow because water magnifies the bottom!

  • nice to no u had a random burp moment lol

  • Your makeup is gorgeous here. Please please do makeup tutorial

  • is artichoke a fruit ???

  • what do you do with the other half of the artichoke? can it be stored in the fridge? and how? sorry i've only ever eaten canned artichokes so i'm totally clueless about them ^^

  • Yor hair is amazingggg!

  • i finished making this tea just before , and im currently waiting for it to cool down before i put it in the fridge . But i have a small question ... my artichoke was turning brown and it kinda strunk as i was cooking it - is it supposed to be doing that? :O
