Whatever you think of the Evgeni himself or the routine you have to give him full marks for giving the performance everything, especially as it was an exhibition and not a competition. (I've seen some exhibitions where it's taken the performers all their time to do one double jump - AND they move at only half the speed of Evgeni.)

This guy defiantly is the best , but just that one night it was a point difference. IM not an expert, not even a novice for ice skating, but that might actually help my case. When I watched the two seperate free skates, to my eyes Lysacheck had the better skate , just for what the judges said, that he landed his jumps with near enough perfection and had his jumps throughout the performance. Plushsenko counted fully on that one jump , and though he made it, his other jumps wernt landed as strong.
