  • I really like the ease of making these inexpensive Geocaching containers with household recyclables.

  • Lots of those are my area. Like how easy and cheap they are to make.

  • Nice camo job and I like the size. Looks like it might hold a couple of geocoins.

  • Any concerns of this in the wild if someone closes the lid too tight that opening it snaps the seam where glued. The seam will be the weak spot. a concern in cold weather climates more than souther California.

  • I have seen very similar containers in the Nashville/Murfreesboro area.... They work pretty good!

  • Using the Gatorade bottles instead of the pop bottles made it a bit bigger and I like that. More of a true micro size since the standard micro is a 35mm film container. The pop bottle ones would be pretty small. Nice job on the camo paint. It would have been cool tosee how you did that as well. Thanks for the tutorial.

  • Nice tip but you might want to wear shoes or workboots when using a hacksaw like that. Don't lose any toes!

  • Great video and very well done!

  • At first I was skeptical but after seeing the finished product I'm pretty impressed!

  • cool beans will be trying that real soon

  • Totally awesome. I am going to make some of these!

  • That is a pretty cool container, but for the amount of time and work required I'd opt to buy my waterproof containers for less than a buck a piece at JeekGear.com.

  • We have actually made one of these last year. They are pretty cool to make, and will make handy little containers. We will have to post a video of the one that we made and post it sometime. We are hoping to make a few more. We clued a maganet onto ours so we can put somewhere with metal.

  • And this from someone who doesn't like Nano's. : - ) Keep on cache'n

  • I've made those too, but I heated the two ends up to melt them a little and the pushed them together. Works great!

  • Oh we must have a go at making one of these... looks great!

    :-)

  • Nice :)
