I have been through high school only a few years ago and have seen that the best investment for material gain in a honest way is to go to vocational school. At least you have a chance of getting immediately hired by someone if you decide to do an internship. Internships are good if you are a sophmore or junior year. Buisnesses will not higher seniors from 4-year colleges. Do not be afraid to skip one year to get into an internship and then start up classes again on a part-time basis.

Interesting and true. I believe that the Education system is Fail.

I look at my English pieces that I've written over the past three years, and as the system progresses, my marks have gone up, but the creativity in my pieces isn't quite the same as three years ago...

Thanks,Cathy, for sharing this... Bud has realized the failure of our current education system. It is geared only to teach our chlldren how to CONFORM. That's the goal... those that conform will make good slaves within the capitalist/corporate systems.

Education should be about teaching our children how to Think Critically, to Question Everything (no matter WHO says it) and, to stimulate the creativity and uniqueness of each individual within the principle of Equality of All as One...

as a mother of 4 children i can honestly say our education system is designed to stop you from free thinking, how to block your mind, how to be the slave to those who want to control the system.

@clk211bu cool, I saw in university that the fresh, creative ideas of the new students were ignored. They first had to study the 'old' material. So when they left the university they had lost their feeling with their creativity.

Wow...vry cool & inspiring to hear ths frm some1 still in high school. Vry clear points! I definitely wnt thrgh ths in hgh schl, wait, in college 2! Frustrating stuff. That's why i've gone 2 so mny different colleges, so many different times...I kept getting disheartened by the current system and saying "fuck you!" but now I am going to approach it w/a different perspective - SELF-honesty, SELF-trust, SELF-responsibility and SELF-direction...I refuse to be dictated 2/molded by an IDEA or systm!

If one were to learn from failure and to not see it as negative then the negative attitude towards it has to change right?

Where on earth does one get thought to change this attitude and what perception does it require for a soul to look at the problem at the right level to see?

@FirstZorzim - The only means of even a glimpse of perception for me has been applying self forgiveness within self honesty for what I have accepted and allowed so as to release the patterns and direct self here within the 'principle of equality'.
