Hi, Yes, premounted shikishi board is different. You may want to use smaller brush and less water since it turns to bleed more. Once you get used to it you may like it. Regular rice paper is still the best especially after I adopted silicone backing paper which makes mounting so easy. (Shikishi is mounted with silicone adhesive too, I believe.)
