This song has so much meaning to my life right now. I don't want to be bounced back to, and if the other half stretches your love so much that its so thin enough to tear you shouldn't put your arms back around them. The woman vocals are trying to convince him that she is calling you by some other guys name, but he thinks that he needs to bounce back because he is just a rubber ball and that is all he knows how to do.
