  • Thank you so much , your tutorial helped me to to improve a lot ! :)

    Btw love your accent ;D

  • Now I'm actually glad I have Gimp 2.0

  • Good tutorial, thank you !

  • I'm Glad to see metroPCS is now giving photoshop tutorials

  • @KMaheshBhat hey while you were using the brush you were also erasing mistakes you made without selecting the eraser tool, how?

  • @javatar2r What I was doing for correcting was less "erasing" and more painting over.

What I do is when I make a mistake and paint a wrong color, I basically hold on to [Ctrl] and click on the layer where the color is what I want. After that I just paint the "correction". Then hold [Ctrl] again, pick the color I was painting with and continue.

Basically, not erasing, but painting over. Hope that helps.

  • @KMaheshBhat lol you sound like the lemur from Madagascar

  • @IAmArTuneZ Ha!

  • i love your accent. i was super excited when i learned how to do this! you can even ask my brother!

  • indian?

  • @x19xS34Nx98x Yes.

  • You are big credit to team! Thank you now I understand how it works ;d

  • You see that scissor symbol, yeah that one to the left of the path tool. It was created specifically for doing the "polygon select".

  • Teaching, is the greatest contribution, that one can make to the whole of humanity.

    Thank you.

  • How do you delete the created path in Gimp after you're done?

  • how silly of me, nice video too haha (:

  • your accent is awesome (: what accent is that?

  • In Adobe Photoshop the polygon tool is nothing like the path tool in gimp. The polygon tool is used for making regular polygon shapes - like stars, hexagons, triangles etc.. The equivalent of the path tool is called the pen tool in Adobe Photoshop. The polygon lasso tool in Photoshop is called the free select tool in GIMP - the can serve the same function.

  • I had no idea how to use the path tool until I found this video, thanks. D.R.

  • why does the path line i make disappear every time when i click on paintbucket or the paint brush?
