Looked like a wave rolling in. Suddenly wind blew fiercely, rocks from landscaping flying all over. The big Mobil sign across street blew down.
I'll never forget.
He said "Let's go!"
I told him I had to count money & put till away.
He said "*#!% the till. I ain't dying for no till!"
For some reason.. this makes me want to create one of those Sci-Fi movies like the day after tomorrow.. but make the tornado touchdown in the stadium ^_^

@TheStarErik well it is kansas. smack dab in the center of tornado alley. they most probably know how to handle themselves and not panic. But i agree with you...if i saw that shit...id be gone there wouldnt be any of this looking around nonsense.

@SaraMusicish That is the catch. Weather is unpredictable. Lightning stayed at a distance that was close enough to delay the game, but not close enough to put anyone in any real danger. Kansas residents don't get too worried about storms like this.
@jeenashirkey04 You are right... sometimes wall clouds can look pretty amazing. Almost too amazing to believe. Being from Kansas, these storms don't even scare most of us anymore. We are used to it! :) Notice all the people still in the stands? LOL
I snagged a suite in Bramlage and we watched the Michigan game on the tv's in there until the game started again....of course that was after the Women's bball team kicked us off the court for shooting baskets lol
