I think that had it snowed for much longer, Swavesey would have seen flooded streets. As it was, when I was filming it it was the last of the snow fall but You could actually see the level rise.
Hadn't thought of that. On the other side of the barrier bank near in Over, there's a commemorative rock saying when and where it was breached. Suppose humans could have built it up to stop it flooding. Good point
its been higher.
In 1912, barrier bank was breached, so the water level must have trebled to reach that height.

Just hoping we don't get any more snow or heavy rain. The surrounding fields are saturated and can't absorb water.
