Texas has the 8th strongest economy in the world. It is also the only state in the US that has yet to be effected by the ressession. We do that by having a small governeing body and no sales tax. Take all the trash you want. Texas is #1 in the nation right now. Texas is a great state and no amount of insults will change that. Talking bad about it or any state is stupid.

Before joining the union in 1845, Texas was a sovereign, recognized, independent nation. We were annexed to the U.S. by a congressional resolution. International standards required that we be annexed by treaty and that never happened. Our last binding vote in 1861 was to secede from the union. The union has continued to fail us and is now trying to steal Texas wealth to support their failed policies. The warmonger GBW was even worse than Obama. Time for them all to go.

The courts rule themselves and interpret the constitution whatever way goes with what they want. The feds have ruled. If we try to contest in their royal courts they'll just interpret the constitution in a way that allows them to keep the bill. Matters that affect the economy are never overturned in a federal court. If that's all we had to do income tax would be long gone as it had MUCH opposition at the time. That's like trying to overturn the bailouts in court, not gonna happen.

This is exactly what is happening with Republic Lakotah (look it up) They've demonstrated tready violations in a court of law and are asserting their rights as a sovereign nation. Texas has similar claims in that there was no tready bringing us into the U.S. in 1845. A congressional resolution of one nation is not binding upon another.

The Republic of Texas will honor all valid treaty claims. The Lakotah took their claim to the U.S. Supreme Court and won. The U.S. gov tried to placate them with money instead of living up to their obligation of giving the land back. That is why members of the Republic Lakotah withdrew from their treaties with the U.S. in Dec '07. BTW there are several Native Americans in our movement to free Texas for the reasons spelled out above.
