@sis2cool4u I actually have an iMac now! Mine boots up in about 15 seconds. My new setup includes my 2011 iMac and my (old) Dell Studio 540 next to it.

my pc is an intel core2quad 2.5 ghz 4 gb ram ddr2 and windows 7 64 bit it only takes 15 seconds to boot up i think my sis got it for about 1000 dollars cause its got 1 tb hdd 7.1 audio card HD card 20 inch HD lcd screen HDMI 1.2 built in to the monitor and the cpu i think macs are kool but i bet my 1000 $ pc can beat a 1200$ mac book pro

@gameteacher101 i highly doubt its that fast for it to boot up. i have a core i5 750 at 2.94ghz (quad core) and it takes 15 seconds for get past the bios screen. i say my windows 7 64bit takes more like 25 seconds to 30 seconds but i do have 2 SSD for the boot drive

@iamterence77 im seruis thats how fast it boots up i keep it completely updated and defregmented and my antivirus dosent slow down my pc or enything

Yeah. I recently took off everything on my dell, and it boots up just as fast as my MacBook Pro now.

Hard drive speed makes a huge difference, which often gets over looked. Windows 7 has a very fast boot times for me on my Machine. Don't think that some dell machine represents Windows 7 as being slow to boot up. The quad core will be better for rendering and some other tasks so will the 6GB of Ram.
