  • wow, after hearing this, i can die happily!

  • Didnt get a chance to see them in the early years, but this was my favorite song at the reunion tour in philly, that show rocked!!! GO PAVEMENT!

  • this starts off slow, but as soon as they get into the second part at 2:17 it becomes brilliantly epic. 1994-1995 was the peak of live Pavement.

  • Abed, this is not worth blasting about.

  • isnt that the date kurts body was found, nearly that anniversary again

  • April 8,1994・・・・・・・

  • Here we stand tall as musical elitists

  • @s7rugg1es

    lol, hardly.

  • this kills the wowee zowee version in my opinion

i heard they didnt finish it properly in the studio and that this is kinda the final version.

    anyone know nethin bout that?

  • I've heard other live versions, and they always play it like this, so you could be right.

  • I believe this is on Slow Century... am I wrong?

  • You, sir, are correct.

  • FIGHT FIGHT Fight This Generation.

    And My Car Has Dents.

    And My Car hand-di.

    Monetaahh Monetahhh.

    AUNT NICO'S HOLIDAY!

  • This is fire, what a great gig it must've been

  • yay this used to be my favorite song...though those cellos arent there here..god so freakishly sad..

  • Genius.

  • Nice. Classic Pavement song, prototypical of their brilliance; and the title - "Fight this Generation" - the incongruity's got to bring a chuckle

  • How did they do this in 94 when wowee zowee came out in 95?

  • Umm, probably because they wrote the song in 94 or earlier, and only released it on record in 95?

  • err... they wrote it before they released it

  • Is that a serious question, retard?

  • if someone wants audio of this or other pavement shows just send me a personal message.

  • Generaaation! Generaaation!

    Thanks Bob.

  • Lol ;)

Pavement is one of the best band i know...

it´s beacuse of there funny, ironic style

  • One of my favorite Pavement songs. Thanks.

  • excelente!!!1

  • man, this rocks

  • I wish they were still together :[

  • Just listen to Malkmus and the Jicks, it's just as good as Pavement, still fresh

  • What do you think is a good record to start with? Thanks!

  • crooked rain, crooked rain is the best starter pavement record.

  • I meant a Malkmus and the Jicks record

  • Well, it's Real Emotional Trash.

  • CRCR is completely different from S&E. I no shit listened to CRCR for a year and then FINALLY listened to S&E and was disappointed. Had to get used to the Lo-fi Pavement but it was worth it. Trigger Cut/Frontwards are the best Pavement songs!

  • man, that rocks, sure wish I would have seen that live in Athens!! Thanks for the posting
