It is Kindred Blades, which was the first developed game prior to The Two Thrones. They then changed everything in the last few months, and made it T2T instead...
It wasn't Kindred Blades, but it wasn't the current two thrones neither. Perhaps they would like to make the game that way (with dark prince boss fights) they only changed their mind and this trailer was a very early, but already two thrones trailer.
My theory is that the producers were aiming to make a ending for each Prince. If you were to make things in a certain way, you would probably end up transforming more often into the Dark Prince. Should you do it differently, you would get the "traditional" T2T storyline and ending.
It would've been awesome f they had kept that possibility, but it's still my favourite game of the saga.
You CAN kill the Klompa with the Dark Prince. You need only a teleporter tool. I think they changed their mind about Kindred Blades, because the original PoP creator, Jordan Mechner didn't like the blood and gore of the series, so they decided to make a less bloody game. (I read it.)

And I have a theory about this: First, know that the dialogue between the dark prince and the prince in the realm is took from KB, most of it, because it doesn`t make sence with what had happend in TTT, but with the idea of the dark prince in KB. The dark prince says: "How many times did I unlock your path, take down your enemies?" And those enemies, were defenetly the bosses! Searck for gameplay, tracks and artwork on Tristan129`s videos.
Or more bosses than in TTT! =(( From the KB artwork you can see more enemies and maps, wich are A LOT more interesting than the ones we know from TTT.

Hi. Sometimes Dark Prince it better for combat because he got Daggertail. The Prince is more on speed kill to kill his enemy but it depends on the right timing. Wish if there is Dark Prince fight with Klompa and other bosses like the Twin brothers or Vizier..

I'm a sands of time fan, but listen technicaly they did come out with kindred blades. For wii, it is rated T though i think, i don't know, but they did come out with kindred blades.
