Whoa whoa... Calm down. The reason RATM would probably be headlining because Megadeth has been doing shows for a long time. RATM weren't even making songs together, just playing their old material. Also metal nowadays is not what it used to be. Look I love RATM and like Megadeth but you can't compare them because they're both different genres. Also, they both have different skill abilities. Just be proud it's not another Metalica VS. Megadeth battle this time.

Elitist "music" fans make me laugh. When will you guys understand that music doesn't revolve around technical skill? Is Megadeth more technically skilled at their instruments than Rage is? Perhaps, but the point of RATM isn't to go out there and play technical music. Their focus is to deliver a political statement through their lyrics, deliver catchy and innovative guitar riffs and basslines, and to energize the listener with their music. That being said Megadeth and RATM are fucking awesome.

Rage actually took some time to engage and talk to the crowd. I couldn't even tell with Megadeth when a new song started and another began. I hardly call that entertainment. Please define why exactly Megadeth are more entertaining than RATM. They have more technique and their songs require a lot of skill, but they are by no means entertaining.

from where i was standin, just behind the sound stage, it sounded fuckin horrible. kept goin loud then quiet. shame really cos they deserve better than a shit sound mix, and they need deserve a later timeslot

@iain213 It was probably because the wind was blowing the line array making the dispersion angles change, sounding like it was going loud/quiet. Not a shit sound mix. It was bad for the first song and a half, but that's the norm when the engineer is quickly sorting out the levels for the rest of the set.
